  • Atharva Veda Medicine Black Magic Text

Of the Four Vedas, the Scriptures of the Hindus, the Ataharva Veda is less known as compared to Rig,Yajur and Sama Vedas.

It is not Athavana Veda as most people pronounce it.

Atharveda is not as large as the Rug Veda.

There are 10552 verses in Rig Veda and around 5987 verses (varies slightly based on recessions) in Atharva Veda.

Thus Atharva Veda is a little more than half the size of Rig Veda.

It is three times bigger than Yajur Veda or Sama Veda.

From the preliminary analysis of the text, it is revealed that Atharva Veda was centered around the northern Sarasvati region and later became the text of the shamans in the Kuru kingdom which got established to the east of Sarasvati (in Haryana).

Practitioners of Atharva Veda are now limited and they are found mostly in Maharashtra and Kerala, Gujarat.

As compared to the other three Vedas, the Atharva Veda speaks more of Daily problems and solutions, like diseases, black magic.

The name Atharva Veda is a compound of Atharva, the Rishi who compiled it and Veda, meaning Knowledge.

The Atharvaveda was mainly composed by two groups of rishis known as the Atharvanas and the Angirasa.

Hence its oldest name is Ātharvāṅgirasa. In the Late Vedic Gopatha Brahmana, it is attributed to the Bhrigu and Angirasa.

Additionally, tradition ascribes parts to other rishis, such as Kauśika, Vasiṣṭha and Kaśyapa.

There are two surviving recensions (śākhās), known as Śaunakīya (AVS) and Paippalāda (AVP)

    The Schools,Shakas.

    1. paippalāda, regions south of the Narmada River
    2. stauda
    3. mauda
    4. śaunakīya, regions north of the Narmada River

Disease and Medicines in Atharva Veda.

Atharva Veda is the first Indic text dealing with medicine.

It identifies the causes of disease as living causative agents such as the yatudhāna, the kimīdin, the krimi or kṛmi and the durṇāma.

The Atharvans seek to kill them with a variety of incantations or plant-based drugs in order to counter the disease .

This approach to disease is quite different compared to the trihumoral theory of Ayurveda.

Atharva Veda suggests germs as a cause for leprosy and also talks about Anti-Biotics.

Atharva Veda also talks about Warfare.

A variety of devices, such as an arrow with a duct for poison (apāskambha) and castor bean poison, poisoned net and hook traps, use of disease-spreading insects and smoke screen.

Abhicarika Prayoga, Deployment of Black Magic.

The major rituals covered by the Atharva Veda are marriage in kāṃḍa – XIV and the funeral in kāṃḍa – XVIII.

There are also hymns that are specific to rituals of the bhṛgu-aṅgirasas, vrātyas and kṣatriyas.

One peculiar rite is the Viṣāsahi Vrata, performed with the mantras of the XVII kāṃḍa in a spell against female rivals.

Atharva Veda contains mantras for white magic (defensive magic) as well as black magic (offensive magic).

It deals with rivalries between women in relationship with the same man, rivalries between two men, attracting /seducing a man by a woman or a woman by a man and suggests incantations that can be used in such situations.

Atharva Veda Black magic and Western Black magic.

Many of the hymns in Atharva Veda containing invocations to cure diseases or to ward of diseases and magical incantations to defend against evils done by enemies or to proactively attack evil-doers indicates a religion and philosophy which has its parallels in the Shamanic traditions in the whole world.

Since Atharva Veda is the oldest text describing these practices and since it is still preserved without much modification, it is possible that Shamanic traditions worldwide have their origins in the Atharva Vedic religion.

This could mean that the Shamaic traditions in Europe such as those in Ireland, Belgium etc could have its origins in the Atharva Vedic-homeland in Saraswati-Ganga basins.

Similar traditions are also found in the southern India and in various pockets of central and eastern India.

This situation however can also be explained without a migration scenario.

It is possible that the Shamanic traditions well-preserved in Atharva Veda was one important part of the global Shamanic traditions that had already spread throughout Asia, Africa and Europe during the early days of awakening of the human civilization.

  • Disappearing Temple Of Shiva By Muruga Sthambeshwar

    True,

There is a Temple of Lord Shiva which disappears only to reappear.

Legends say that this Temple was built by Kartikeya, called Murugan in Tamil, after he killed Tarakasura.(Kumararika kanda, Skanda Puarna)

The Temple is in the Gulf of Cambay in Gujarat.

This Lingam of Lord Shiva can only be viewed during the low tide hours and gets disappeared inside the sea during high tide hours. Stambheswar.imagejpg..

The Temple is gets totally submerged into the Sea during the high tide hours and as the tide starts to get low it again starts emerging out of the sea inch by inch, unveiling the 4 feet high Shiva lingam.

It is ideal to plan a trip for at least whole day and night, so that you can see and enter the temple in the early morning low tide hours and can also meditate in the quite, peaceful surrounding of the temple.

    Restaurants are available.

There is an Ashram nearby where free lunch is available.

At the high tide you can watch it submerge slowly.

It is 52 Km from Vadodara.

  • Modi’s Land Sale To Adani Questions To Congress

Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have accused Narendra Modi of selling  450000 acres of Land to Adani Group at the price of a Tea, Rs.1.

The business of Adani need Central Government approval , The Finance Ministry.

The Finance Ministry has objected to  Adani’s Business,

Earlier this month, the finance ministry objected to its Rs 4,000 crore joint venture project with the Gujarat government for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal within Adani-promoted Mundra Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

As a direct fall out of this objection, the Board of Approval (BoA) for SEZ in its meeting held on April 3, has kept the final approval to the proposal “in abeyance”. This comes at a time when the stock valuation of the Adani group has touched an all-time high.

Documents of the IMG (inter-ministerial group) with The Indian Express show that the Adani group had requested co-developer status for the Gujarat government-led Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) Ltd for establishing an LNG terminal, storage and re-gasification facilities…

The finance ministry, explaining its stand on the business model, said, “There appears no justification for providing duty concessions on inputs or capital goods that will be used for these operations…the proposal does not envisage any physical export out of the country…further, the location of the SEZ, whether in processing or non-processing area, has also not been clarified…therefore, any decision of the BoA must address these issues in relation to the proposal.”

Previously, the expert appraisal committee of the ministry of environment and forest (MoEF) had given consent to the project in February 2014.

The Adani group and GSPC had entered an agreement in August 2013 for establishing a 2.95 lakh square meter facility; the proposal was also cleared by Cabinet Committee on Investments.”

Now Adani is in the following businesses.

The GAPL and the SEZ venture was merged before IPO so GAPL does stand as an entity now. GAPL is also in talk with Orissa government for setting up an all weather port nearPOSCO project. MPSEZ is the largest private port in India.[citation needed]

Ports controlled by Adani Group are:

    • Adani Mundra Port
    • Adani Hazira Port
    • Adani Murmugoa Coal Terminal
    • Adani Vizag Coal Terminal Pvt. Ltd.
    • Adani Abbot Point Terminal Pvt. Ltd.
    • Adani Group

All these need Central Government approval.

Why did they not object the proposal on this ground?

How did Congress Chief Ministers gave away the lands to Adani group cheaper  Rates?

Amid Rahul Gandhi’s ‘toffee’ barbs over giving land by the Gujarat government to the Adani group at throwaway prices, BJP has hit back saying the group got cheap land from earlier Congress-supported governments.

Records show the group first got wasteland in Mundra from the Congress-backed Chimanbhai Patel government in 1993 and then from another Congress-supported government headed by Shankersinh Vaghela in 1997.

The group subsequently got more wasteland from BJP governments headed by Keshubhai Patel in 1999 and Narendra Modi in 2005. While Gandhi has said that land given to Adani was of the size of Vadodara, the Ahmedabad-based group has got 7,350 hectares, as against Vadodara city’s area of 15,900 hectares. “

“BJP’s chief campaigner is selling Narendra Modi model in the name of Gujarat. What is happening in Gujarat under this model? Sikhs living there since past 50 years were being forced to leave the state,” Sonia said while addressing an election rally in Malwa belt of Punjab. “May God please save this country from this model,” she said.

She attacked the Akali Dal for joining hands with BJP and not raising its voice for the Sikhs in Gujarat. “Akalis rather than raising voice against them (BJP) are colluding with them and they are partners in this atrocity against Sikhs in Gujarat,” said Sonia. “In Gujarat every second five-year-old child is malnutritioned and those who get Rs. 11 per day are not considered below poverty line in Modi model,” she added.

Sonia said that around 45000 acres of land in Gujarat had been given to one businessman at a cheap rate and under this model several people in the villages are still not getting potable water.

Accusing BJP of adopting an ideology in which common man will be identified not by his capabilities and skills but by his religion, language and caste, she said, the saffron party’s ideology is of “hatred, narrow mindedness and consistent hunger to achieve power” at the centre.

“Their (BJP) ideology wants to take the country on that path where nation’s entire power wrests with one person,” she said in an indirect reference to Narendra Modi. “They will take the country to a situation where the poor, weak and farmers will beg for their rights,” she said.(

  • Modi Gujarat Riots Facts Lies Documents

In the Gujarat Riots Muslims were killed and Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Despite the Supreme Court giving a clean chit to Modi stating that there are no grounds to say that Narendra Modi was involved in the riots, stories

    abound on Gujarat Riot.

    Gujarat Riots and Modi.
    Narendra Mod and Gujarat Riots

Let’s see how valid are these spins.

    1.Spin-1.2000 Muslims were killed.

Fact-254 Hindus and 790 Muslims were killed

Government’s Reply in the Rajya Sabha.

The Central government on Wednesday informed the Rajya Sabha that 254 Hindus and 790 Muslims were killed in the post Godhra riots in Gujarat.

Minister of State for Home Affairs Sriprakash Jaiswal said a total of 223 people were reported missing, 2,548 sustained injuries during the riots in 2002.

He said the government paid Rs 1.5 lakh to the next of kin of each person killed and Rs 5,000, Rs 15,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 50,000 for the injured.

The amount for the injured was based on the extent of injury, the minister added.(rediffnews)-check Rajya Sabha records link.

    2.Only Muslims were butchered -Lie.

    Fact.

While Muslims were killed without provocation in Naroda Patiya,Gulbarg Society, Naroda Gram, Sadarpura, Ode and other places,Hindus were killed

unprovoked in Himmatnagar, Danilimda, and Sindhi Market and other areas of Ahmedabad,.

    3.Entire Gujarat was burning.

    Fact-

Out of the state’s 18,600 villages, 240 municipal towns, and 25 district headquarters, only 60 places saw riots.

If one includes the two big cities of Ahmedabad and Vadodara, by the wildest stretch of imagination, only 2 % of the state can be assumed to have been

burning. Only 40 out of the state’s 18,600 villages saw riots.

4.Police was indifferent and not deployed in full strength.

    Fact-

Ahmedabad has a police force of 6,000, including 1,500 armed personnel. In addition, the entire state has just four companies (530 jawans) of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) of which only one company could be spared for Ahmedabad. Considering that the mobs that simultaneously surfaced at nearly half a dozen places numbered from 2,000 to 10,000, the forces proved woefully inadequate. At one point on February 28 there were at least 25,000 people targeting the Muslim localities in Ahmedabad alone.”

    See link: http://www.indiatoday.com/itoday/20020318/cover.shtml

Even in its infamous article misquoting Narendra Modi as having said “Every action has equal and opposite reaction” (Which Narendra Modi never did),The Times of India reported, “The sparse police presence looked like a drop in the ocean of violence.”

This despite the deployment of the entire police forceThe Hindu also reported the next day that on 28 February “Mob fury reached its crescendo” and “The situation seemed to slip out of hand” and “Police were outnumbered by the rioters“. Same was the report of The TelegraphThe Tribune.

    5.Only Muslims were affected.

    Reality.

As early as 5 March 2002, out of the 98 relief/ refugee camps set up in the state, 85 were for the Muslims and 13 were for the Hindus. As on 17 March 2002, as per the report of a newspaper as anti-BJP as The Times of India, more than 10,000 Hindus were rendered homeless in Ahmedabad alone.

As on 25 April 2002, out of the 1 lakh 40 thousand refugees, some 1 lakh were Muslims and 40 thousand were Hindus.

None other than Times Now channel admitted in 2009 quoting from Agencies that 40,000 Hindus were also rendered homeless in the Gujarat riots, i.e. Muslims threw out as many as 40,000 Hindus in Gujarat even after Godhra, just like they did in Kashmir where lakhs of Hindus left the valley

    6.Sangh Parivar organized the Riots.

    Truth.

ed and the Rapid Action Force and the CRPF jawans could not control the violence. The Hindu also reported the next day that the situation seemed to slip out of control. Ahmedabad Police received 3,500 calls instead of the normal 200. It was beyond the means of the Sangh Parivar- or anybody to organise mobs on such a large-scale in Ahmedabad within 24 hours.

However, the VHP could have easily organised riots in many of the 10,000 villages inGujarat where it had units, either on February 28, or days after that.

On February 27 occurred the Godhra massacre. That same day the RSS gave a statement saying- “RSS condemns the killings and calls for restraint”. The Hindu also reported in its report on Feb 28 that the “RSS appealed to the people to exercise restraint”.

The then RSS Joint General Secretary Madan Das Devi said-“Now is the test of the patience of the Hindu society…These killings are a ploy of the terrorists to create riots…”. This was reported in weekly Organiser, the weekly mouthpiece of the RSS, in its issue dated 10 March 2002, which covered events till 27 February.  In the 10 March 2002 issue itself, two RSS leaders- Madan Das Devi and Mohan Bhagwat gave statement’s asking the Hindu society to maintain peace. The Telegraph reported on 28thFebruary 2002-

“The RSS rallied behind the Prime Minister, pleading for restraint. Joint general secretary Madan Das Devi said: “The tolerance of the Hindu society is a litmus test. Instead of taking the law into their hands, people should cooperate with the state government in dealing with the serious situation.”

  • Modi’s Marriage Karunanidhi Digvijay Answer These

    The issue of one’s  Marriage,

Can this create a National Furor?

Narendra Modi the Chief Minister and PM candidate , India
    Narendra Modi

    Yes,

If you happen to be one Narendra Modi, the Gujarat Chef Minister and the BJP candidate for Prime Minister’s Post.

Mode admitted to having been married to one Yashoda Ben.

The comment by Karunanidhi, the DMK Supremo, speaking in an Election rally on 11th April at Chidambaram,

‘News about Modi’s has come just now,

I do not know what else will come out after he s elected”

    is amusing.

Karunanidhi is a man who lives with two women, one, legally wedded wife, and another a ‘Thunaivi’, meaning Companion.

We have better words n English to describe,

He remarked at the time of the Birth of Kanimozh, his daughter through his ‘Thunavi’, on being asked about a child having been delivered in Isabella

Hospital, Chennai by PG.Karuthiruman Congress Leader in The Tamil Nadu Assembly, and who was the father of the child , as the lady who delivered

the Child, had stated that the Father’s name was Kanrunanidhi, and what was the relationship Karunanidhi had with the woman,

    Karunanidhi replied,

“The Father of the child is Karunanidhi, Period”

He spends his days in both the houses, one of his wife and another?

To know more about Karunanidhi’s spotless character in respect of women, one would do well to read ,his one time close friend, Kannadasan’s Tamil

    Book Vanavaasam, Life in Wilderness.

Thee he describes how and the gentleman cheated a call girl by not paying her!

This man now speaks of Modi!

Now Digvijay Singh comments on Modi.

Would he please comment on Sonia Gandhi‘s father having been a Nazi or the information yet unconfirmed as for as I am concerned, that Sonia Gandhi was an Escort?

Or that she smuggled out Indian Antiques?

The Congress’s Digvijaya Singh and the party’s pan-India machinery, women activists ranged against Modi, and all his staunch opponents have attacked Modi over this.

This round, it seems, will go to Modi.

“The self-confessed strong man doesn’t deserve any sympathy for inviting attacks, personal or political, but the facts of Modi’s child marriage is more of a tragedy than a scandal that his critics are portraying,” says Vikram Vakil, a Surat-based senior journalist who first scooped Modi’s marriage way back in 1993 for the Gujarati political weekly Abhiyaan I had founded.

Here is a defence of Modi that an apolitical friend, based in Ahmedabad, offered to Rediff.comafter the controversy erupted. He refused to be named in this column, and says he came to know about the marriage in 2003.

“By liberal standards, all individuals are free to have their own choice of partner. The family, parents or society can’t impose their choice on a teenage son or daughter as it happened in the Modi-Jashodaben case,” this friend of Modi says.

“If 17-year-old Modi wanted to get out of the marriage, which was imposed on him by a socially backward society and his family, it’s not only ethical but his right to walk out of the forced marriage. Feminists are against the obnoxious old idea of pativrata nari. In hitting out at Modi, they will be wary of endorsing Jashodaben‘s stand too,” argues Modi’s friend from Ahmedabad.

Vakil, otherwise a staunch critic of Modi, defends him on this count. “Modi’s marriage was an accident of destiny. It was a kind of a Shakespearean tragedy where neither the man nor woman can be blamed.
