Vinayaka Purana lists four Avatars of Ganesha.
Additonal five are found in the Mudgal Purana.
Some decalre there are eight Avatars.

Once Ganesha had his belly full of Modaka and mounted His Mount,Mouse.
His stomach was so full of Modakas , his belly burst open and the Modakas spilled out.
