Would The Saudi Government allow a Hindu Temple to come up near Mecca?

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) was able to get about ten pictures of the building and the nearby places. Many of our friends have been trying to find out the sinister plans of starting Islamic College near Tirupathi.  Following information is being provide for your purview :

    1. The seven layer/storied building is being constructed in Chandragiri village which is about 13 kilometers from Tirupathi.

    2. There is big sign posted on the main road to indicate that it is the home of “Heera International Islamic College (HIIC).” On the same sign board it is written “Women Arabic College.”

    3. Down below the sign board, on the ground there is a sign “Swarnamukhi River Rejuvenation Project.” The name Chandragiri is also printed on the sign board.

    4. HIIC is being built approximately in a seven-acre lot. It appears that this land is parceled into few pieces of lots.

    5. It is noted that this land was acquired in 2007. Research is ongoing for the authenticity as well as the circumstances under which this land was acquired.

    6. This land belonged to a VISHNU Temple, known as Timmappa Temple, with a very tall Rajagopuram according to the villagers. They were in dilapidated condition for many years.

    7. We have taken TEN new pictures to indicate that they are building the HIIC in the Vishnu Temple complex. The pictures indicate the dilapidated Rajagopuram on the left side (Westside of the building).

    8. It appears that HIIC never got permission to start the college. No permission was granted before they started the construction.

    9. Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) area includes 70 kilometers radius from Tirupathi. Chandragiri is only 13 kilometers from Tirupati. Any construction in Chandragiri should have the prior approval from TUDA. No such permission was granted to start this construction.

    10. According to TUDA zonal rules no permission to construct any building can be granted, if it has more than five layer/stories plus stilt.

    11. It appears that a letter was sent to the Special officer in Collector’s Office to grant approval for permission for construction, which is totally against the Zonal rules.

    12. Villagers in the area feel that some local politicians are behind this idea of constructing an Islamic College at this location.

    13. Villagers feel that Vishnu Temple land is illegally occupied by HIIC and building is being constructed illegally.

    Why near Tirupathi ?

Is there a plan to silence the bells and stop the aarathi at Lord Venkateswara Temple ? Is there a plan to keep buying lands as close to Balaji Temple as possible to start Minarets with high volume loud speakers announcing that “Allah is great.” Do you think that it is a far-fetched imagination ?

Please take a look at few examples of the recent times

    1. The present government has asked some Temples in old Hyderabad to stop aarathi and also stop ringing the temple bells as the Muslims celebrate Eid.

    2. Swami Paripoornananda was asked not to visit the Bhagya Lakshmi Temple because Muslims may be upset. He was arrested and taken in a car to have darshan only from the police car; never allowed him to get down and go to the Temple.

    3. In Hyderabad, the Hanuman Temple was desecrated by throwing Beef into the Temple compound and splashing the green color water on the walls to create animosity in the community.

    4. Akbaruddi Owaisi made a statement to remove the Bhagya Lakshmi Temple from the premises of Charminar in the old city. He even made a blood thirsty pronouncement that “We are 25 crores, you are 100 crores. Remove the police for 15 minutes and we will show you who has more courage and strength.”

We tried to approach different community leaders and politicians of different parties – Congress, BJP and TDP. We could not reach any Congress leader so far. TDP representative asked us to approach the concerned minister.

We were able to talk to NVSS Prabhakar, BJP leader who also started investigating the matter. He had a news conference on Friday (12th). He questioned the motive behind the construction of HIIC. He even traced the history of religious activities of Christians and Muslims in and around Tirupathi for the past ten years and their attempt to take over the Temple property and their missionary activities. More details will be forthcoming.

Who is building the Islamic University ?

Ms. Aalima Shaikh Nowhera, Heera Group is a Global Fortune Company with business in the commodity as well as educational chain. The first Muslim woman of India to lead a company, Ms Shaikh is a renowned entrepreneur. It is a business conglomerate in various economics fields.

She even received an award from Indian Economic Development and Research Association for attending a seminar on “Outstanding Achievements and National Development” in July 2013.”

  • College Degree In Love Calcutta University

Modern living has become so complex that it requires formal Education for basic Human feeling that are supposed to be spontaneous ans natural.

    Course on Love
Degree Course in Presidency University Kolkata.

Presidency University,Kolkat, India has taken the step of introducing a Degree Course in ‘Love.

Now Girls, Boys and parets of these might insist on a Degree as a minimum qualification for Loving/marriage!

“”The new course on love will deal with its sociological implications and will begin from the next semester in January,” Malabika Sarkar, vice-chancellor of Presidency University told IANS. “The course will be taught by the university’s sociology department. It will basically deal with the theoretical aspects of love,” Sarkar said. The varsity began an initiative July to introduce students to a variety of topics, irrespective of their major subject, becoming the first university in the country to offer interdisciplinary courses. Under this programme, science students can get a taste of liberal arts, and those delving into humanities can take up a science subject. “This is the first such initiative in the country. In the traditional Indian university education system, honours students are required to take up two pass subjects. We have replaced the pass subjects,” professor Somak Raychaudhury, head of the varsity’s physics department had said earlier. Raychaudhury said the decision to juxtapose the two branches was taken as students do not take pass subjects seriously. “So, instead of forcing pass subjects on students, we decided to break them up and have a list of 10 papers. All the honours students are required to take up 10 papers. While the science students are needed to take at least two arts papers, it is vice versa for students of humanities,” the professor explained. For example, the physics department has introduced a course, “Physics of Everyday Life”, under which students, irrespective of the stream they are majoring in, are taught how things like a camera work. “The course is open to everybody. An English literature student can take it up. Similarly, the sociology department is offering a subject called ‘Love’ that students from other departments can study,” the professor said. IANS

  • We Are,Not Because Of, But ‘Despite’

The other day I was conversing with my son.

The talk veered round to life and success.

My son told me that I should have been a President of a Comapny or at least a Vice president and that I am a failure in my life.

    My answer to him was,

‘lets us assume I have been a President of a Company drawing six or seven figure salary.

I should either be continuing to work or wold have retired by now.

    What would I be doing?

Doing what I wold like to do which I could not in my earlier years.

Now I am doing what I like most, Writing, visiting temples.

I have my children married, and they are well settled and I have grandchildren to enjoy.

    I eat well, sleep well.

    What more one does want?

    More Bank balance?

I can not eat more than three times a day, not do any thing beyond my age with all the money.

    Recognition by people?

People recognize you if you have money, period.

    And it does not matter.

I will be here and die whether people recognize me or not.”

    He replied,

    You have wasted your life.

With your intelligence , you should have earned more.’

    My answer,

‘Who told you I have not tried?

I was unable to get a job in my prime at a particular point of time , despite the fact I was acknowledged as one of the specialists in my field.

Now  I am being offered way beyond my imagination( at least,by my standards).

When it does not matter to me anymore..

    That’s Life’

    Yes,

In Life I have been ,not because of what I did but despite what did.

I come from a lower middle class family, the son of a reputed teacher, not known for wealth.

To visit Madurai was my highest ambition.

Noe I have been abroad quite a few times.

    I studied under scholarship.

Did not have money to pay Hostel Mess Bill.

The college had to waive the rule that one should have one scholarship only to grant me another scholarship.

My brother’s father in law got me  into a company at a salary of Rs 100 per month.

    I struggled.

I retired as senior management executive, having served MNCs.

My eldest son is a well-known Sports Anchor.

Another son is a senior manager in a MNC.

    Daughter represents a US company.

Son in law and daughter in law work in MNCs.

    I have grand children.

Even in my wildest imagination I would have thought my family would reach this level.

Well, one can desire for more.

    I do not.

    I am contented and happy.

Is that not what Life is all about?

  • Sex Education What Students Say

    Sex Education
    Sex Education In Schools.

There is a move by the Government of India to introduce Sex Education in School , as a part of curriculum.

“So, it also becomes important to educate school teachers so that they can handle such issues with maturity. One such step has been taken by Umeed, a leading organization of counsellors led by Salony Priya, by organizing a workshop to deal effectively with health and sexuality issues among adolescents. The two-day workshop on July 4 and 5 is being organized at Frank Anthony Public School and will be attended by teachers from almost every leading English-medium school in the city.( Times of India-July,4, 2013)

David Cameron ,the  Prime Minister of UK , is launching Telegraph Wonder Women’s ‘Better Sex Education’ campaign.

I have been maintaining, that Sex is a Basic instinct and need not be taught.

The organism knows how to go about it.

It is not a kill to be taught.

Some may disagree stating that there is a lot of difference between Sex and Informed Sex(!).

The latter, unless it is instinctive,is nothing but a deviation(no psychological; connotation) and mostly leads to Perversions, which one might be unaware of before coming in possession of such information.

Despite the emergence of a Free Society( should this be in only Copulation?), the individuals feel awkward in vocalizing sexual thoughts, especially with those who are close to them even!

The Telegraph of UK conducted a Survey to find out what the Students feel about Sex Education.

    Excerpts.

I am 16 and I think that sex ed is the funniest and most ridiculously taught of anything. However, it is also the topic that I feel most young people should be informed properly about and not be conformed to using cheesy and corny videos of cartoons, nor should the extent of sex ed in high school be a more sophisticated re-run of corny junior school sex ed videos, or using bananas to practice putting on condoms. It should be changed.

don’t remember learning much from sex ed. But I did learn quite a bit from Grange Hill.
    Mark

QuoteI remember all of the class throwing condoms at the teacher, after she handed them out!
    Shanil

QuoteWe had sex education lessons only a few times. But then once in year 9, the boys and girls were split up for an emergency sex education lesson – because my school panicked after two pupils were caught doing naughty things in the gardens on a school trip. In that ‘special’ class, the teacher was great – just open and honest.
    Adam

QuoteAll that happened to us was we were shown scary pictures, got taught how to put condoms on a fake penis and that was it. We were all already sexually aware from the internet.
The scary pictures made us feel like: IF YOU HAVE SEX – THIS WILL HAPPEN AND YOU WILL DIE.

  • Pocket Money Alarming Trends IndiaTakes Action

Pocket Money is the money given to children by the parents to spend.

    Pocket Money in India
Pocket Money In India, A Study.

This is addition to what is being provided at Home by way of Food, Shelter Clothing, Study expenses and in fact covers everything.

This concept  is a new one, since about fifteen years,;even then, it was not followed as it is being done now.

We were provided  every thing by the parents at Home(about 50 years back) and I did not even know what to ask.

I used accept what was given by my father.

Even School textbooks were not asked for.

If I needed something, which was rare, at times I used to ask my mother and what I wanted was provided, but never Money.

Today, we find Pocket Money is being demanded as a matter of Right by the children and parents also consider this as a part of a Child growing into an adult!

    It sounds funny.

Why does a child require Money and why do parents encourage it?

One point is that the peer Pressure exerted on the Parents by the other parents  on the one hand  and , on the other, the pressure exerted by the child’s friends.

Many parents resort to this practice to show their status, also to assuage their guilt feeling of not being with the child  as much as they would like because of the fact that both Husband and wife are employed.

They think they are compensating this by giving money to children.

At a relatively young age, say up to 10 years, if you bring up the child properly. the child would not ask for Pocket Money and what it needs is the fact that the Father/Mother personally  bought something for him

Once you allow the child the taste of money, it never leaves.

The child develops a taste for things which it can not afford and assumes that the Money is there merely for the asking.

When you have money, one tends to spend on things one does not need, this applies more to Adults, look at your credit card purchase-s you would have bought things which you would otherwise have not bought if you hard currency ;such being the case, imagine a child!

When the child has  more money it tends to develop bad habits like Smoking< Drinking and begin to use drugs.

As usual parents are the last to know of this.

Then things had gone beyond control.

Another serious implication is that when the child does not get the money from you it starts stealing , first from Home ,then later from other people.

I am not sounding an undue Alarm.

    Survey at .

    http://www.bemoneyaware.com/survey.php

This I have observed in quite a number of cases.

The issue has assumed such serious proportions that the Government of India has come out with a Scheme to regulate this and create an awareness among the students and the parents.

    I am providing some thoughts from another source;

Pocket money as the name suggests is money given to children to take care of petty expenses. This amount of money can be given by parents’ everyday, every week or every month or even on adhoc basis, as and when the child requires it. As long as the child has the freedom to spend the money, it will be deemed as pocket money.

Parents extensively differ in their perspectives of whether or not to give pocket money to children. Some parents believe that pocket money should not be given since

    *
That will make the child feel that ‘parents money is not his/her money’,
    *
‘It could lead to fights between children’,
    *
‘Unhealthy competition amongst children on the amount of pocket money they get’
    *
Loss of control on where children spend the money’

However, giving pocket money to children has several advantages:

    *
Children feel a sense of independence and responsibility towards spending the money the right way. They learn & understand the value of money. They also learn to understand that amount of money is limited and they need to always choose between their various desires to ensure correct use of their pocket money.
    *
Children get into the habit of planned income and expenditure. They also learn about saving & budgeting. For eg: if they want to buy a present for their mother’s birthday, they will need to put aside some amount of money every month to collect the commensurate amount and buy the gift.
    *
Giving pocket money to children also makes them feel an important part of the family since they know that they get a part of the family’s monthly income.
Some parents even believe in their children earning pocket money. What does that mean? It means that parents can often inculcate values/ beliefs/ actions in their children by rewarding them for it in the form of pocket money. In such cases, parents divide the pocket money amount in two parts:

    *
One that is given on a timely basis.
    *
Second that is earned against some house jobs. For eg: every Sunday, you could start giving a fixed sum of money to your son if he helps his father in cleaning the car. Or if your daughter helps around in dusting the house. This will in a way also inculcate the habit of weekly cleanliness in them since childhood. Similarly, if you strongly wish to inculcate the value of ‘ helping others’ in your children, you could promise them an extra sum of money during summer vacations if they help your maid’s child learn the basics of math.

Pocket Money , Indian Government Initiative.

Pocket Money – Financial Education in Schools

Studies On Pocket Money in India.

A 2011 study by ASSOCHAM on “Current Pocket Money Trends in Urban India” spoke to over 3,000 respondents in the 12-20 years age group in five metros, including Chennai (which was at the bottom of the list in terms of pocket money – the maximum was Rs.5,000). Shockingly, it revealed that children were getting pocket money upwards of Rs.12,000 in India, many times more than the few thousands that children were used to getting just six years ago. Apparently, big budget items that kids were going in for was gadgets (55 per cent), 25 per cent spent money on movies and malls, and about 20 per cent on eating out.

“Food is on top of the list – for all children, irrespective of their socio economic strata. If they have money, they buy food. Unfortunately, most of it is junk food and fizzy drinks,” Dr. Kumarababu explains.

Coupled with a sedentary lifestyle, this leads to obesity and a whole string of metabolic disorders that are best prevented at a young age, doctors say. The next big spending is on gadgets and on video games CDs and DVDs, all of which further encourage a sedentary life.

    http://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/chennai/pocket-money-may-encourage-deviant-behaviour-in-kids/article2876324.ece

My suggestion is not to give Pocket Money right from the early childhood and provide children what they need by yourself.

In case you can not avoid this , make sure the child keeps an account and shows it to you daily.

Schools may encourage children to save and set Marks for Saving for A  ‘Pass’/Rank.
