    Indus Valley Civilization Dravidian

    ..The term Dravidian coined by Robert Caldwell,who was a Christian Missionary with the Agenda of propagating Christianity much like Mueller has played/is playing havoc in understanding the ancient History of India.

    The term Dravida was used by the Vedic texts to indicate a group of people living south of the Vindhya Mountains,Caldwell used this term to indicate an Ethnic group and paved a way to divide India on the bass of Ethnicity.

    Then came the sophisticated attempt of dividing my proposing Aryan Invasion theory,which now stands discredited.

    Please read my post The Fraud called Aryan Invasion.

    While Max Mueller ,another well masked missionary took the route of planting deliberate misinterpretation of Vedas,though he did some good job,to confuse ancient Indian History(please read my articles on Max Mueller),Robert Caldwell took the Tamil Language to distort History by paving the way for misinformation about Tamils,Dravidas and Sanatana Dharma.

    Indus valley Timeline

    This has made historians running in circles.

    If one accepts Aryan Invasion Theory,you have to accept that there was no presence of Vedic Dharma in the south;there were animosities between the Arynas and the Dravidas:the culture of these two were mutually exclusive;you can not explain the advanced culture in the South nor can you account for the numerous archeological finds that indicate a close connection between the two:you find it to date Kings and Eras.

    But facts reveal themselves if one takes India as a unit refer to literature of All Indian Languages and foreign  literary references about India from Plato,Strabo and others.

    The facts.

    Rama’s ancestor was A Dravidian and ruled Dravida Kingdom.

    Ravana was from the south and was a Dravida.

    Shiva worship preceded in the Dravida Desa much before the Vedic period.

    Valmiki,who compiled/composed Ramayana,was a Tamil poet.

    So were Sage Agastya ,Parashurama,Gautama,Rishyasrunga….

    Rama’s ancestor Sagara of Kosala Kingdom married a Dravidian princess.

    Krishna attended Tamil Sangam.

    Krishna,Arjuna married Pandyan Princesses and had children.

    Sahadeva and Balarama visited South in their pilgrimage.

    Madurai Meenakshi’s father Malayathdwaja Pandyz fought along with Pandavas in the Kurukshetra battle of Mahabharata.

    Chera king Perunchotru Udiyan Neduncheralaathan provided food for both the Pandava and Kaurava armies during Mahabharatha war.

    Kulothunga Chola’s son in law built Konark Sun Temple.

    Rama,Sita and Hanuman ,among others of Ramayana visited many Shiva and Vishnu temples in the south..

    List is endless.

    Now more evidence.

    Tamil Brahmi script was found in Saraswathi valley.

    Tamil King Sibi,ancestor of Rama ruled from the north,where he had his second capital.

    He built the Thiruvellarai Temple,near Srirangam,Tamil Nadu for Vishnu as Pundarkaksha.

    Tamil is found among the Brahui people in NWFP area even today.

    The Indus Valley civilisation (2,600-1,900 BCE) located both in Paistan and India is often identified as having been Dravidian.Cultural and linguistic similarities have been cited by researchers Henry Heras, Kamil Zvelebil, Asko Parpola and Iravatham Mahadevan as being strong evidence for a proto-Dravidian origin of the ancient Indus Valley civilisation.The discovery in Tamil Nadu of a late Neolithic (early 2nd millennium BCE, i.e. post-dating Harappan decline) stone celt allegedly marked with Indus signs has been considered by some to be significant for the Dravidian identification.….

    Yuri Knorozov surmised that the symbols represent a logosyllabic script and suggested, based on computer analysis, an underlying agglutinative Dravidian language as the most likely candidate for the underlying language.Knorozov’s suggestion was preceded by the work of Henry Heras, who suggested several readings of signs based on a proto-Dravidian assumption.….

    Linguist Asko Parpola writes that the Indus script and Harappan language are “most likely to have belonged to the Dravidian family”. Parpola led a Finnish team in investigating the inscriptions using computer analysis. Based on a proto-Dravidian assumption, they proposed readings of many signs, some agreeing with the suggested readings of Heras and Knorozov (such as equating the “fish” sign with the Dravidian word for fish, “min”) but disagreeing on several other readings. A comprehensive description of Parpola’s work until 1994 is given in his book Deciphering the Indus Script’

    There are  33 Vedic tribes listed in the Rig Veda.

    Their presence and dispersal was towards the north,north east of India,Persia and Russia.

    One has to account for the presence of Sanatana Dharma in the Far east  ,extending to Australia and the spread  in Europe,Africa,Americas and Mesoamericas.

    This was the work of  Dravidians at first and later by the Vedic people.

  • Tamils Vedic Tribes Yadus Turvasas Rig Veda

    I had an interesting comment to one of my Posts.

    ‘If the Tamils have been mentioned in the Vedas, is The Tamil Sangam mentioned in the Vedas , Ramayana and Mahabharata?’

    The answer is that the Vedas or the Ithihasas do not mention the Tamil Sangam, though the Tamil Classical Poetry of the Tamil Sangams mention the Vedas, Ramayana and the Mahabharata.

    Krishna as a Toddler.jpgLord Krishna attended Tamil Poet summit.jpg
    Toddler Krishna.

    I shall provide the answer to the question at the end of the Post.

    To understand the Vedic references to other communities, one has to understand the Tribal Groups during the Rig Vedic period.

    What were they and where were they?

    five major tribal groups mentioned in Rig Veda : Yadus, TurvaSas, Anus, Druhyus and Purus. Tthe TRkSis are not included because they are referred to as people beyond the Vedic Aryan realm.

    It is emphasised however that the Rig Veda hymns are composed under the patronage of Purus, who alone among the five named above are Aryas or Aryans, as is meant in the text. Only the PUrus are addressed as “Arya” in the Rig Veda. The other four may or may not have been of the same racial stock but, to the Rigvedic people and the composers of Rig Veda hymns, they are considered and termed as non-Aryans or “an-Arya”.

    Rig Veda hymns include in mention and references : with Aryas – the Purus – on one part, and the other part comprising of Yadus, TurvaSas, Anus and Druhyus,

    But there are two distinct words by which the Rig Veda refers to these others :

    a. DAsas

    b. Dasyus

    It is necessary to understand the distinction between the two words.

    The word DAsa is found in 54 hymns (63 verses) :

    I.   32.11; 92.8; 103.3; 104.2; 158.5; 174.7;

    II.  11.2, 4; 12.4; 13.8; 20.6, 7;

    III.  12.6; 34.1;

    IV.  18.9; 28.4; 30.14, 15, 21; 32.10;

    V.  30.5, 7-9; 33.4; 34.6;

    VI.  20.6, 10; 22.10; 25.2; 26.5; 33.3;  47.21; 60.6;

    VII.  19.2; 83.1; 86.7; 99.4;

    VIII.  5.31; 24.27; 32.2; 40.6; 46.32; 51.9;  56.3, 70.10, 96.18;

    X.  22.8; 23.2; 38.3; 49.6, 7; 54.1; 62.10; 69.6;
    73.7; 83.1; 86.19; 99.6; 102.3; 120.2;  138.3; 148.2.

    The word Dasyu is found in 65 hymns (80 verses) :

    I   33.4, 7, 9; 36.18; 51.5, 6, 8; 53.4; 59.6;
    63.4; 78.4; 100.18; 101.5; 103.3, 4; 104.5;
    117.3, 21; 175.3.

    II 11.18, 19; 12.10; 13.9: 15.9; 20.8;
    III. 29.9; 34.6, 9; 49.2
    IV. 16.9, 10, 12; 28.3, 4; 38.1;
    V. 4.6; 7.10; 14.4; 29.10; 30.9; 31.5, 7; 70.3;
    VI. 14.3; 16.15; 18.3; 23.2; 24.8; 29.6; 31.4; 45.24;
    VII. 5.6; 6.3; 19.4;
    VIII. 6.14; 14.14; 39.8; 50.8; 70.11; 76.11; 77.3;  98.6;
    IX. 41.2; 47.2; 88.4; 92.5;
    X. 22.8; 47.4; 48.2; 49.3; 55.8; 73.5; 83.3, 6;
    95.7; 99.7, 8; 105.7, 11; 170.2.

    There are two distinct aspects that differentiates the DAsas and Dasyus :

    1. The term DAsa clearly refers to other tribes (ie. non-PUru tribes)

    while the term Dasyu refers to their priestly classes (ie. non-Vedic priestly classes).

    [This is apart from the fact that both the terms are freely used to refer to the atmospheric demons as much as to human enemies to whom they basically refer.]

    a.  According to IV. 28.4, the Dasyus are a section among the DAsas.

    b.  The Dasyus are referred to in terms which clearly show

    that the cause of hostility is religious in nature :

    ayajña (worshipless): VII.6.3.
    ayajvan (worshipless): I.33.4; VIII.70.11.
    avrata (riteless): I.51.8; 175.3; VI.14.3; IX.41.2.
    akarmA (riteless): X.22.8.
    adeva (godless): VIII.70.11.
    aSraddha (faithless): VII.6.3.
    amanyamAna (faithless): I.33.9; 11.22.10.
    anyavrata (followers of different rites): VIII.70.11; X.22.8.
    abrahma (prayerless): IV.16.9.

    Not one of these abusive terms are used even once in reference to Dasas.

    c.  The family-wise pattern of references to them also shows

    that the Dasyus are priestly rivals while the DAsas are secular rivals.

    The Dasyus are referred to by all the nine priestly families of RSis,

    but never by the non-priestly family of RSis (the Bharatas).

    The DAsas are referred to by the Bharatas (X.69.6; 102.3) also but not by the most purely ritualistic family of RSis, the KaSyapas, nor in the purely ritualistic of MaNDalas, the MaNDala IX.

    d.  The Dasyus, being priestly entities, do not figure as powerful persons or persons to be feared, but the DAsas, being secular entities (tribes, tribal warriors, kings, etc.) do figure as powerful persons or persons to be feared:

    In three references (VIII.5.31; 46.32; 51.9), the DAsas are rich patrons.

    In seven references, the DAsas are powerful enemies from whose fury and powerful weapons the composers ask the Gods for protection (I.104.2; VIII.24.27; X.22.8; 54.1; 69.6; 102.3) or from whom the Gods rescue the RSis (I.158.5).

    In three others, the word DAsa refers to powerful atmospheric demons who hold the celestial waters in their thrall (I.32.11; V.30.5; VIII.96.18).

    In contrast, Dasyus never figure as rich or powerful enemies. They are depicted as sly enemies who incite others into acts of boldness (VI.24.8).

    e. While both DAsas and Dasyus are referred to as enemies of the Aryas, it is only the DAsas, and never the Dasyus, who are sometimes bracketed together with the Aryas.

    Seven verses refer to both Aryas and DAsas as enemies (VI.22.10; 33.3; 60.6; VII.83.1; X.38.3; 69.6; 83.1; 102.3) and one verse refers to both Aryas and DAsas together in friendly terms (VIII.51.9).

    This is because both, the word DAsa and the word Arya, refer to broad secular or tribal entities, while the word Dasyu refers to priestly entities : thus, one would generally say “both Christians and Muslims”, or “both padres and mullahs”, but not “both Christians and mullahs” or “both Muslims and padres”.

    2. The second difference is in the degree of hostility towards the two.

    The Dasyus are clearly regarded with uncompromising hostility,

    while that towards the DAsas is relatively mild and tempered :

    a.  The word Dasyu has a purely hostile connotation even when it occurs in the name or title of heroes :

    Trasadasyu = “tormentor of the Dasyus”.
    DasyavevRka = “a wolf towards the Dasyus”.

    It is clear , then, that the Tamils who were living South od the Vindhyas are the people being referred to as Dasyus.

    This is confirmed by the information that Sage Viswamitra banished his sons to the Dasyu Region for disobeying him.

    Apasthamba, a descendant of these excommunicated sons of Viswamitra complied the Apasthamba Sutra which incorporated the Tamils’ customs like Mangalya Sutra for marriages.

    Lord Krishna married a Pandyan Princess and had a child through her;he had her married to a Pandyan prince.

    Please read my Post on this.

    Yadu families, after the Dwaraka deluge migrated to the South.

    The connection between the Yadus and the other Vedic tribes, though frowned upon, continued.

    The system of worship by the Dravidas, called by the Purus as Dasyus, was differnt.Tthey had Lord Shiva as the First Siddha and were more inclined towards the worship of Reality without Form.

    Reference to this may be found in Thirumoolar’s Thirumandiram, where Formless worship is emphasized and one may find reference to passages ridiculing the idolatry practices.

    Siva Vakkiyar, A Siddha observes thus.

    “NATTA KALLAI DEIVAMENDRU, NAALU PUTPAM SAATHIYE; SUTRI VANDHU MONEMONAVENDRU SOLLUM MANDHIRAM EADHADAA. NATTA KALLUM PESUMO?NATHAN ULLIRRUKAYIL; SUTTA SATTI SATTUVAM KARICHUVAYA ARIYUMO?’

    Why do you go around an Idol, chanting?

    Would the Idol speak when the God is within You”

    However Tamils, at a later period worshiped various Gods.

    They divided the lands into five, assigning Gods to each land.

    Kurinji-Mountainous Region- Murugan, Subrahmanya.

    Mullai-Forest areas, Maayon, Krishna,

    Martham,Coplands-Indra..

    Neydhal , Seashore, Varuna and

    Palai, Desert, Kotravai, Durga.

    And these Tamil Kings fought with the Vedic tribes of the North and have won many a battle.

    Ravana, belonging to Vedic people (though many people dispute this,he was a Vedic scholar) was defeated by a Pandya King and signed a peace treaty with him.

    Even Krishna and Arjuna fought with the southern tribes.

    No wonder the people of the North viewed the people of the South as Hostile, Dasyus and did not refer to the Tamil Sangam.

    I am continuing my research in this area as I am sure the there would be a reference to the Tamil Sangams.

    The present post is with the resources available to me now.

  • Genetic Study Proves Dravidan Movement To North,The World

    The study of genes is very interesting.

    I have written a few articles on this subject.

    Human Migration.Image.
    Human Migration.

    There have been attempts to manipulate data by assigning Caste to genes.

    While we are advanced in Genetics, we are not advanced enough to assign a caste marker to Gene.

    The information, rather the misinformation is provided by the Government of India.

    They have taken distance as the factor to determine Caste!

    That is if you are away from India, you do not have caste!

    Apart from the fact we do not have the technology to assign caste to genes, people forget the Geology of 5000 ago.

    India was not as it is.

    The landmass encompassed a wider area.

    Who set the boundaries for those areas?

    Same logic applies to determine languages based on Genes.

    Proof for this has o be found elsewhere, in archaeology, linguistics and cultural behavior.

    Again, my researches indicate the presence of Indians as far away in Ireland, Russia and in some places Brahmin practices were found , according to Archaeological  finds and cultural practices.

    Now to the study.

    ‘R1a is typical in populations of Eastern Europe,Indian Subcontinent and parts of Central Asia. It has a significant presence in Northern Europe,Central Europe, Iran, Altaians and Xinjiang(China) as well as in Siberia. R1a can be found in low frequencies in the Middle East, mostly inIndo-European speakers or their descendants…

    The Modern studies for R1a1 (M17) suggest that it could have originated in South Asia. It could have found its way initially from Western India (Gujarat) through Pakistan and Kashmir, then viaCentral Asia and Russia, before finally coming to Europe”…”as part of an archaeologically dated Paleolithic movement from east to west 30,000 years ago

    Points and inferences from this study.

    1.That Human genes originated in south Asia.

    This is supported by archaeology,astronomy ,linguistics and culture.

    2.’It could have found its way initially from Western India (Gujarat) through Pakistan and Kashmir, then viaCentral Asia and Russia, before finally coming to Europe”…”as part of an archaeologically dated Paleolithic movement from east to west 30,000 years ago’

    Here the point is that the early Genes were linked to South India, to be specific near Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

    The implication is that there has been a movement from the south necessitated by a Tsunami, which has been recorded in History and validated.

    This has been found in Tamil Classics and world legends of Floods.

    Note the time frame in another study.

    ‘The dates we report have significant implications for Indian history in the sense that they document a period of demographic and cultural change in which mixture between highly differentiated populations became pervasive before it eventually became uncommon. The period of around 1,900–4,200 years BP was a time of profound change in India, characterized by the deurbanization of the Indus civilization, increasing population density in the central and downstream portions of the Gangetic system, shifts in burial practices, and the likely first appearance of Indo-European languages and Vedic religion in the subcontinent. The shift from widespread mixture to strict endogamy that we document is mirrored in ancient Indian texts. [notes removed -Razib]’

    Taking these facts into account, it is sane to theorize that the earliest genes were from the south of India and there was a shift to the north around 4000/5000 BC.

    This is the time when the Tsunami struck in the south and people emigrated from the south.

    Towards which direction is the question.

    They could have moved towards the north of India, east and west.

    Hindu Texts state that Satyavrata Manu, ancestor of Lord Rama moved towards north with his sons to found the Iksvaku Dynasty.

    Please read my Post .

    They could not have moved to wards the south as they were deep down the south as the land mass ended here as described in the Tamil Classics of the First Sangam and in Sanskrit texts.

    Another direction they could have moved towards  is the west

    This is worth considering because of these facts.

    a)There has been worship of Shiva and Murugan in deep south then but not much is known about Vishnu though mention is made of Mayon(Vishnu),in the earliest available Tamil text Tholkaapiyam.

    b)Tamil Kings attended the Swayamvara of sita of Ramayana and even Nala and Dmayanti not not to forget the Swayamvara of Draupadi.

    c)Tamil Kings participated in the Mahabharata battle.

    d)Lord krishna and Arjuna visited Tamil Nadu then the Dravida Desa, married there and had children through Tamil princesses .

    e)Balarama worshiped Lord Subrahmanya, called Murugan in Tamil, in South India.

    f) Kapila who compiled the Purananuru, a Sangam Classic states that he was from Dwaraka.

    g) Parashurama came from south and though he is considered an avatar of Vishnu he worshiped Shiva and received Pasupathasrara.

    h)Arjuna received Pasupathastra  in the south.

    Now Satyavrata Manu moved to North.

    Who had been left behind and who and where had Shiva, Ganesha and Murugan gone?

    My research indicates  that Shiva and Ganesha left through the middle east ,traveling through Europe, Africa, what is now called Americas, to Arctic and returned to India  through the Khyber pass. leaving behind a trail of Sanatana Dharma .

    Nothing else could account for the artifacts , language affinity and cultural heritage found throughout the area.

    Their home-coming through the Khyber has been interpreted or misinterpreted as Aryan Invasion.

    Thus the genes prove that the early humans were from the south , moved northwards and westwards.

    They could have moved towards he east as well.

    This is certain because of the spread of Santana Dharma in the far east, extending up to New  Zealand and Australia.

    Please check mu Pots on all these.

    One of the advantages of not  being a scholar is that I am not bound by one study.

    I can study various studies, research  papers and collate with Indian sources and arrive at a Theory.

    If west can rely only on western sources, why not rely on western and Indian sources?

    Excerpt ,Sources from different studies

    The first group spread across the upper and middle reaches of the map, the Austro-Asiatics (the tribals or Adivasis) were clustered in the centre and east, the Dravidians covered the south as far up as Andhra Pradesh and the Tibeto-Burmans were confined to small border areas to the north.

    “Now look at these. This stuff was very unexpected.” He pointed at the coloured circles on the map. “You will see that Indians are more similar than you would think across the country. There are membership exchanges within these four groups. It’s all mixing up, even with the Dravidians.”

    Now I understood the circles: they showed genetic groups where you would least expect to find them. In Kashmir, there were people who were genetically similar to Dravidians. In Gujarat and eastern Orissa the same was true, though the markers were weaker. In parts of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in the south of the country, the situation was reversed: here were Indo-Europeans. In Madhya Pradesh in central India, you could find groups whose ancestors had come from the Himalayas. So people who thought they were a product of a place where their family had lived for in infinite generations were genetically closer to Indians who lived a thousand miles away, and spoke a different language.

    When I pointed to a spot on the map and asked Dr Mukhopadhyay exactly where it was, he hesitated. “We don’t say the place names. We agreed, because of the political risks, not to release the ID of the blood-sampled groups — Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs. This is uncomfortable territory.” He touched two red circles near Pakistan. “They probably would not eat in one another’s home. How deep are our genetic relationships, and yet how different are our social relationships. The cultural structures we are following are new: it takes time for practices like not marrying into another community to come out genetically. It takes a few thousand years.”

    Tens of thousands of years?

    “No, thousands of years.”

    So with all this mixing and complexity, could you test for caste?

    “There is no scientific basis to say you could have a caste gene. For a start, in our research we use samples of fifty or a hundred people, not individuals. If you test a population group in India and look at twelve genetic markers — DNA sequence variations — you have nearly a 100 per cent chance of knowing if they are tribals or not, and an 85 per cent chance of establishing their language group. The data would not tell you the caste, because there is no basis.( http://www.hindustantimes.com/books/a-brahmin–in-your-genes/article1-650873.aspx )

    This would tell you the Russian, Arctic connection of Hindus.

    ‘I want to highlight one aspect which is not in the abstract: the closest population to the “Ancestral North Indians”, those who contributed the West Eurasian component to modern Indian ancestry, seem to be Georgians and other Caucasians. Since Reconstructing Indian Population History many have suspected this. I want to highlight in particular two genome bloggers, Dienekes and Zack Ajmal, who’ve prefigured that particular result. But wait, there’s more! The figure which I posted at the top illustrates that it looks like Indo-European speakers were subject to two waves of admixture, while Dravidian speakers were subject to one!

  • Caucasians Whites From Dravidian World Races From India Study

    The effort of the Caucasians ,the Whites to portray themselves as the ancient people of the world is pathetic and amusing.

    The Khyber Pass.jpg
    The Khyber Pass.

    ‘The falsity of White history begins and ends with their desire to hide their true nature; that being that they are derived from Albinos. Their efforts to make all peoples of historical significance White, would appear to be their effort to make themselves the “New Normal” i. e. “See everybody important was White, therefore White is good – the best even!” This fabricated concept of themselves, is obviously so satisfying, and so ingrained, that it has become delusional. Even today, there are many Whites who refuse to believe that the ancient Egyptians, and the other original civilizations as well, were Black people! This in spite of the countless evidences to the contrary: Egypt IS in Africa, there are countless statues and paintings which clearly show them to be Black people. Even scientific studies of ancient Egyptian Bones and Mummy tissue,..

    Race distribution in Eurasian Steppes.jpg
    Race distribution in Eurasian Steppes.

    Whites will still doggedly point to artifacts from the periods of Greek and Roman rule and say: See, these are the “Real Egyptians”. Of course, there is absolutely no reason a reasonably intelligent human being, would ever think that the ancient Egyptians were White people, but then again, reason and intelligent thought, have nothing to do with this: This is about a “Need” to believe. This persistence in thinking, is then clearly not intellectual, put rather purely emotional.’

    They are so obsessed that they have portrayed Christ as a Caucasian  in appearance,though Christ, if He existed at all, was from the middle east!

    He was turned into a White.

    he was a man of simple appearance, mature age, black-skinned (melagchrous), short growth, three cubits tall, hunchbacked, prognathous (lit. ‘with a long face’ [macroprosopos]), a long nose, eyebrows meeting above the nose … with scanty [curly] hair, but having a line in the middle of the head after the fashion of the Nazaraeans, with an undeveloped beard.”

    This short, black-skinned, mature, hunchbacked Jesus with a unibrow, short curly hair and undeveloped beard bears no resemblance to the Jesus Christ taken for granted today by most of the Christian world: the tall, long haired, long bearded, white-skinned and blue eyed Son of God. Yet, this earliest textual record matches well the earliest iconographic evidence.

    The earliest visual depiction of Jesus is a painting found in 1921 on a wall of the baptismal chamber of the house-church at Dura Europos, Syria and dated around 235 A.D. The Jesus that is “Healing the Paralytic Man” (Mark 2:1-12) is short and dark-skinned with a small curly afro – see below.’

    For more read here.

    The second Out Of Africa (OOA) migration event (The first being Humans to Australia), saw Blacks from Africa with straight hair and “Mongol features” take an “Inland route” through southern Asia and on up to China, where they settled. Included with this group, were straight haired Blacks “without” Mongol features – now called “Dravidians” who stayed close to Africa, and settled in India and other areas of southern Asia. Also included with this second (OOA) group were Albinos, who were probably motivated by a quest for relief from the heat and burning Sunshine of southern Africa – and relief from the torment heaped upon them by normal Africans. Even today, superstitious Blacks of southern Africa; maim and mutilate Albinos in the ignorant belief that their body parts process magical properties, which they use in rituals…

    In Book 4 – MELPOMENE: Herodotus describes the Budini people, east of the Ister (Danube) River,

    Human Migration Map Based on Herodotus description.Image.jpg
    Human Migration Map Based on Herodotus description.

    The Budini are a large and powerful nation: they have all deep blue eyes, and bright red hair. There is a city in their territory, called Gelonus, which is surrounded with a lofty wall, thirty furlongs each way, built entirely of wood. All the houses in the place and all the temples are of the same material. Here are temples built in honour of the Grecian gods, and adorned after the Greek fashion with images, altars, and shrines, all in wood. There is even a festival, held every third year in honour of Bacchus, at which the natives fall into the Bacchic fury. For the fact is that the Geloni were anciently Greeks, who, being driven out of the factories along the coast, fled to the Budini and took up their abode with them. They still speak a language half Greek, half Scythian.

    [4.109] The Budini, however, do not speak the same language as the Geloni, nor is their mode of life the same. They are the aboriginal people of the country, and are nomads; unlike any of the neighbouring races, they eat lice. The Geloni on the contrary, are tillers of the soil, eat bread, have gardens, and both in shape and complexion are quite different from the Budini. The Greeks notwithstanding call these latter Geloni; but it is a mistake to give them the name.

    The Roman historian Cornelius Tacitus (56-118 A.D.) said this about the Germanic tribes (Not the same as Germans): All have fierce blue eyes, red hair, huge frames, fit only for a sudden exertion..

    In human genetics, Haplogroup R is a Y-chromosome DNA haplogroup, a subgroup of haplogroup P, defined by the M207 mutation.

    This haplogroup is believed to have arisen around 26,800 years ago, somewhere in Central Asia or South Asia, where its ancestor Haplogroup P is most often found at polymorphic frequencies. Cambridge University geneticist Kivisild et al. (2003) suggests that southern and western Asia might be the source of this haplogroup:

    Given the geographic spread and STR diversities of sister clades R1 and R2, the latter of which is restricted to India, Pakistan, Iran, and southern central Asia, it is possible that southern and western Asia were the source for R1 and R1a differentiation.

    The R haplogroup is common throughout Europe and western Asia and the Indian sub-continent, and in those whose ancestry is from within these regions. It also occurs in North and Sub-Saharan Africa. The distribution is markedly different for the two major subclades R1a and R1b.

    Haplogroup R1a is typical in populations of Eastern Europe, Indian Subcontinent and parts of Central Asia. R1a has a significant presence in Northern Europe, Central Europe, Altaians and Iran as well as in Siberia. R1a can be found in low frequencies in the Middle East, mostly in Indo-European speakers or their descendants.

    Haplogroup R1b predominates in Western Europe. R1b can be found at high frequency in Bashkortostan (Russia). R1b can be found at low frequency in Central Asia, Middle East, South Asia as well as North Africa. There is also R1b in Sub Saharan Africa. In Europe, R1b coincides with areas of Celtic influence.

    The Albinos finding India not much better than Africa, at some point, decided to head further north. They found a pass through the Hindu Kush mountain range, now called the “The Khyber Pass” they passed through it, and entered the grasslands (Steppes) of Central Asia, where they settled. It seems logical to assume that over the many thousands of years that it took for these migrants to reach northern Asia, and their close proximity there, that there would have been some interbreeding between the Mongols and the Albinos; which probably allowed the Albinos to gain some fixed degree of pigmentation. Proof of this admixture, is in the fact that Whites and Mongols (Chinese), both share the same founding Y-DNA haplogroup “K”. Which seems to have evolved during their migration to northern Asia, but while they were still in Southern Asia. Haplogroup “K” is not found in Africa – of course the founding haplogroup of “K” is found in Africa. Also, as we know from everyday life, the product of Black and White mating, often has a slight Yellow hue to the complexion.

    The Khyber Pass

    The Khyber Pass (altitude: 3,510 ft) is a mountain pass linking Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Pass was an integral part of the ancient Silk Road and throughout history, it has been an important trade route between Central Asia and South Asia. The summit of the Khyber Pass is 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) inside Pakistan at Landi Kotal and it cuts through the northeastern part of the Safed Koh mountains which themselves are a far southeastern extension of the Hindu Kush range..

    Some facts emerge.

    1.The Dravidian was the ancestors of the Caucasians.

    When one reads of Human Immigration in Europe, one would find that , while talking of the history of any European Nation, it is stated that there was an influx of people first.

    Then it is noted that it is from Asia.

    They do not bother to check what was in Asia , who were living there and why they have moved out of Asia, for it is inconvenient to face the truth that they have come from Asia and Dravidian!

    2.Considering the Archaeological finds relating to Vedic, Sanatana Dharma being found all over the world, I have posted with evidence extensively,the Flood theory being confirmed by History and Geology, the Astronomical dating of Hindu texts,and the etymology of the world languages and the affinity, if not their identity with Sanatana Dharma, it is clear that the Caucasians evolved from the Dravidian.

    3.The evidence that the early Humans originated from Africa or Australia is not well supported by local customs, legends of these countries.

    In the case of Africa traces of their History before the advent of Christianity, has been erased .

    Evidence of Sanatana Dharma presence in Australia/New Zealand/Polynesia has been confirmed.

    Please read my post Agastya in New Zealand , The Tribal dance of Shiva with the Third Eye in Aboriginal  Tribes of Australia.

    4.Satyavrata Manu, ancestor of Rama, left the south of India with his sons to Ayodhya to found Ikshvaku dynasty.

    Shiva , with his son Ganesha left for the Arctic through the middle east, Africa, Europe, Americas before returning to India through  (via Russia) the Khyber Pass.

    This instance has been deliberately used b the West to misinform people that the Aryans invaded India.

  • Dravidians And Aryans Were amid Each Other Proof.

    Dravidians And Aryans Were amid Each Other Proof.

    One finds it very curious about the  relationship of the people of India living in the northern part of India, North of  the Vindhya Ranges, where the

    Vedic civilization flourished and the Southern part, South of the Vindhyas.

    There are some assumed facts.

    1.Vedic civilization was a closed one and Dravidians had no inkling of it.

    2.The Vedic people considered the Dravidians as Barbarians and uncultured.

    They were called as Dasyu meaning Slaves.

    3.That the Vedic life was introduced by the sons of Viswamitra through their descendant, Apasthamba( I was holding this view and  you can see my

    posts on this and my view was based on the scholarly view of PT.Srinivasa Ayyangar in his Book History of the Tamils.

    The Vedic people banished  criminals and the sinners to Dravida Desa.

    4.The Dravidas were invaded by people from the north and the Dravidians , subjugated and the Dravidians became cultured.

    Lets us see how right these assumptions are.

    1.Vedic civilization was a closed one and Dravidianas had no inkling of it.

    Far from it.

    To begin with the Bharata varsha extended beyond the Vindhyas,Asia, included Lemuria,Far east,Africas, Americas and the Europe, including the

    Scandinavian Countriies.

    The customs that have survived in these areas, the artifacts and temples, system of worship point to Vedic Presence.

    The worship of Fire, Burning the corpses,Worship of the Sun, Use of Spices native to India, Temples like Angkor,worship of ancestors , especially in

    Read some of my posts on these under Hinduism.

    The designation as the Chief  God of each geographical Division unique to Tamils-Varuna for Neythal Seashore,Korkai, Durga for Palai, Desert, Mayon,

    Vishnu for Mullai, Forests.

    The participation of Northern kings in Southern princesses’ Swayamvara and of the South in the North.

    In Damayanti Swayamvara Tamil kings were present.

    In Lord Rama’s marriage tamil kings names are mentioned as being present tin the Swayamvar of Sita.

    Tamil Chera King Udiyan Cheralathan  fed both he Kaurva and Pandavas armies during the Mahabharata War.

    Tamil kings participated in the Mahabharata war, some on the side of the Pandavas some on the side of Kauravas

    Pandya King fought along the Pandavas,his daughter was married to Arjuna when hwas on a Pilgrimage to South.

    So this argument that the Tamil and the Vedic  people were mutually exclusive is erroneous and mischievous.

    2.The Vedic people considered the Dravidians as Barbarians and uncultured.

    They were called as Dasyu meaning Slaves.

    Again sheer nonsense.

    The Puarans quote Tamil Kings as cultured, wealthy and highly industrious.

    The Vedic people bought Ivory and pearl from the South.

    The History of Tamil is as old as Sanskrit and beyond tracing.

    Please refer my posts on these.

    Now to the term Dasyu.

    Rigveda 1.33.4

    O, All Powerful Warrior! You possess a variety of powers and roam alone. Do use your powerful weapon to destroy wealthy Dasyu (criminals) and Sanakah (those who steal from others). May they reach their deaths through your weapon. These Sanakah are devoid of noble acts.

    The adjective used for Dasyus are “Ayajva” meaning those who do not perform noble acts or noble resolutions. Obviously such people would be criminals. Thus the king is advised to destroy such criminals to safeguard his people.

    Sayana defines Dasyu as thief. Dasyu origins from root ‘Dasa’ which means “Upakshaya” or that which leads to destruction. Hence Dasyu refers to those people who are destructive or criminals. It does not refer to any caste or race.

    Rigveda 1.33.5

    Those Dasyu (criminals) who are themselves devoid of noble resolutions and clash with noble people, flee away due to your protection. O brave warrior, you have destroyed the Avrata (unscrupulous) from everywhere.

    In this mantra, two adjectives are used for Dasyu – Ayajva (those who do not perform noble acts and noble resolutions) and Avrata (indisciplined and unscrupulous).

    Very clearly, Dasyu refers to criminals and they are accorded the same treatment in Vedas as they deserve in any civilized society.”

    So this misinformation falls flat.

    In the light of explanation in 1 and 2 this is no more valid.

    However it is a fact that criminals were sent to Dravida desa ,Viswamitra banished his sons and and Apasthamba compiled the Apasthamba Sutra being

    practiced even to day in the South.

    4.The Dravidas were invaded by people from the north and the Dravidians , subjugated and the Dravidians became cultured.

    Aryan invasion theory is deliberate misinformation and proved to be a Myth.

    Read my post on this.

    As,

    Indus valley inscriptions do indicate the so called Dravidian insignia and the artifacts found in the South in places likes like Aikkamedu contain Vedic

    Symbols,

    The cultural unity in customs and practices between the north and the South,

    Many Rishis are common both to North and South, Agasthay, Bhargava, Parashuama, Viswamitra, Vasishta,Ygnyavalkya,

    The ancient languages both Tamil and Sanskrit quote each other, and as

    , nothing definite is known about the ancient domain of the Dravidian parent speech. It is, however, a well-established and well-supported hypothesis that Dravidian speakers must have been widespread throughout India, including the northwest region. Origins of Dravidian people are informed by various theories proposed by linguists, anthropologists, geneticist and historians. According to geneticist Luigi Luca Cavalli-Sforza in the book The History and Geography of Human Genes, the Dravidians were preceded in the subcontinent by an Austro-Asiatic people, and were followed by Indo-European-speaking migrants sometime later.

                                  Most linguists believe that Dravidian-speaking people were spread throughout the Indian subcontinent before a series of Indo-Aryan migrations. In this view, the early Indus Valley civilization (Harappa and Mohenjo Daro) is often identified as having been Dravidian.Cultural and linguistic similarities have been cited by researchers such as Finnish Indologist Asko Parpola as being strong evidence for a proto-Dravidian origin of the ancient Indus Valley civilization.

                                 Some scholars like J. Bloch and M. Witzel believe that the Indo-Aryan moved into an already Dravidian speaking area after the oldest parts of the Rig Veda were already composed. The Brahui population of Baluchistan has been taken by some as the linguistic equivalent of a relict population, perhaps indicating that Dravidian languages were formerly much more widespread and were supplanted by the incoming Indo-Aryan languages.(wiki)

    My conclusion is that the people of the North and the South were one under Bharatavarsha lived together, married between them , fought against each

    other.

    When they were against each other they considered the other as  undesirable and once he issues are sorted out they became one  together.

    Otherwise lot of things in Sanatana Dharama, Temples, Archaeology become meaningless and self contradictory.
