McDaniels allegedly sent the instructive letter to Russel, who ran the prostitution ring, according to Patch.
“Defendant Russell was a master manipulator of these young women who, in exchange for their prostitution services, she provided housing, clothing, food, cell phones and what they needed most – heroin,” District AttorneyThomas Spota told the site.
Both are in jail on charges of drug possession and sale, and a count of conspiracy.

AARUSHI TALWAR (Photo credit: RubyGoes)
I have already provided reasons for my views.
Now I suggest that the DNA of Rajesh Talwar be compared with the DNA on Aarushi’s Pillow..
I would not put it beyond him to have raped his daughter and his wife may be a an accomplice or an unwilling partner.
Story:
Continuing his testimony in aGhaziabad court in the Aarushi-Hemraj murder, CFSL expert P K Mahapatra on Tuesday produced 13 more forensic samples, including a pillow cover. Interestingly, this time he claimed that male DNA was found in the bloodstains on this pillow cover found in Aarushi’s room.
During the last hearing, some other pillows from Aarushi’s room had been produced but it was claimed that there was only female DNA on them. Mahapatra also claimed there were bloodstains on both the door and walls of Aarushi’s room and both had male DNA.
The presence of male DNA, say observers, may favour the CBI since it can be cited to back the agency’s claim in the closure report that Rajesh Talwar and Nupur had killed Hemraj in Aarushi’s room and dragged the body to the terrace.
Mahapatra claimed that bloodstains were found on the wall and terrace of the house but DNA could not be generated from the sample taken from the terrace. He added that female DNA was found in the samples, including clothes taken from Hemraj’s room, CBI prosecutor R K Saini told reporters.
CBI ina twist admitted to have created a fake email ID to interact with the Talwars and refused to divulge the reason.
I surmise it is a question of drawing them out.
Also to check out what they correspond.
But he is too clever!
“CBI sleuths had created, for some “specific purpose”, an email ID in the name of slain domestic help Hemraj to interact with dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar during the probe of Aaarushi-Hemraj murder case, the agency said today.
CBI, which had earlier denied that email ID ‘hemraj.jalvayuvihar@gmail.com’ was used to call Talwars for questioning, is now saying that the ID was created for some “specific purpose” which they refused to explain.
“I am told by the concerned officers that the email ID was created to interact with Talwars for some specific purpose during the investigation,” CBI spokesperson Dharini Mishra said here.
She refused to elaborate on this saying the matter is sub-judice.
Talwar’s counsel Manoj Sisodia told PTI that he had sought a document from the CBI recently which was sent to him from the email id. He, however, added that he does not know whether the ID is of CBI or not.’
A man reported to be in his 60s is suspected of animal cruelty after having been caught re-handed having sex with a tied up sheep in a field in southern Sweden, according to the Sydöstran daily.
A farm hand is reported to have received a shock when he wandered past the field shortly after 3pm on Monday afternoon and witness the elderly man in the act.
“The employee saw that the whole episode was, how shall I put it, close to completion,” said Ronny Götesson at the Ronneby police to the Kvällsposten daily.
According to the newspaper the man was taking no chances before making his carnal approach, neutering any potential resistance from the stricken animal by binding its back legs together.
As the whole episode played out in full view of any would-be passers-by, the farm worker was able to provide a detailed witness description of the horny sexegenarian.
He is reported to be a man of slim build, in his 60s or 70s, and was last seen dressed in a shirt but no trousers.
Ronneby police are now on the look out for the man, who is wanted on suspicion of cruelty to animals.
It is unclear if the sheep sustained any injury in the alleged attack.
Starved: Darlene Armstrong, pictured here in hospital, weighed only 23lbs and could not walk or talk when she was removed from her family home after being starved by her mother. Law enforcement officials leaked this picture to the media.
A 16-year-old girl with cerebral palsy weighed only 23lbs and could not walk or talk when she was removed from her family home after being starved by her mother.
Darlene Armstrong measured just 3’10’’ tall when she was rushed to hospital in Chicago in March.
The severely disabled girl could have been rescued four months earlier if the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) had followed set procedures, an investigation by the Chicago Tribune revealed.
Darlene’s mother, Rosetta Harris, 50, pleaded guilty to endangering the life of a child.
The mother, who had no prior criminal record, was sentenced to 18 months of probation and ordered to undergo parenting classes.
Doctors at the Comer Children’s hospital said the girl, now 17, had been starved for a considerable period of time.
When Darlene was brought to hospital she weighed only 23 lbs – just over one and a half stone – the typical weight of a two or three-year-old child.

A shocking photo of Darlene in hospital shortly after she was rescued was leaked to the press by law enforcement officials, as an investigation was launched into how the social services dealt with the case.
Hospital officials did not believe the mother’s story that she fed her daughter eggs and grits for breakfast, steamed rice and chicken, chocolate protein drinks and snacks throughout the day.
On November 17 DCFS received an anonymous emergency call that Darlene Armstrong was not being fed and had not seen a doctor in ‘many years
Under the agency’s rules an investigator needs to respond to an emergency call within 24 hours, and, if they do not see the child on the first visit, they are expected to return every day until they see them.
An investigation by the Chicago Tribune revealed that an investigator into the case walked away from Darlene’s home on three occasions without seeing the 16-year-old.
Although an investigator went to the home within the required 24 hours after receiving the hot-line call she left after Harris’ brother said the mother and daughter were not at home. The social worker left her contact details at the home.
