  • Garbhodaki Vishnu Balarama Lakshmana In Quantum Wormhole

To understand Hindu History one should have an eye for facts, allegories, Facts and allegories combined together and allegorical stories to instill morality.

Vishnu in Anatha Sayana.jpg Garbhodaki Vishnu.

However one can easily identify the last mentioned by the statement in the body of the story or towards the end it to be a Moral story. But the Puranas, Vedas and the Ithihasas, Ramayana and Mahabharata belong to another genre .

Adi Sesha in Patala Loka.jpg. Adi Sesha Supporting the Earth.

Puranas and Ithihasas record facts as has been proved.

    Gharbodhaka Ocean.jpg
    Gharbodhaka Ocean.

Vedas belong to a category of Knowledge that is intuitively grasped and it is not through the senses we possess.

We can verify even this if we follow the laid down rules.

The Puranas contain facts as well as Higher Physical truths.

Some of these Truths enunciated in the Puranas are called as Lower Knowledge.

One such is the much overlooked Adi Sesha on whom Lord Vishnu reclines.

People are aware that Adi Sesha is the Bed on which Lord Vishnu reclines and he was born as Lakshmana in Ramayana and Balarama in Mahabharata times.

The importance of Sesha can be understood by the fact that  Lord Vishnu was born as a Younger brother to Balarama, an Avatar of Sesha, whom Lord Vishnu served diligently.

This is the expression of gratitude to Sesha by Lord Rama to Krishna hen he said to Lakshmana,

‘You have served me diligently sacrificing everything in your Life in order to serve me.

I shall repay it by serving as diligently to you in the next Avatar.

Lord Krishna executed His Machiavellian Schemes in the Mahabharata, be it the slaying of Drona,Fixing of the Muhurat for the Mahabharata war by switching the Full Moon Day(Bodhayana Amavasya), killing of Bhishma by placing Sikandi in front of Bhishma,The taking away of the fruits of Karna’s Good deeds by taking them away from Karna in the Battlefield, hiding the Sun to enable Arjuna to kill Jayathratha,of advising Bhima by slapping his thighs to indicate that Bhima as to hit Duryodhana below Duryodhana’s Thighs, the list is endless…

in the absence of His elder brother Balarama , an Avatar of Adi Sesha.

If Lord Krishna listened to in the Mahabharata at all it as only Balarama and no body else.

Such was his devotion to Balarama.

Apart from the incidents narrated thus about the respect shown to Balarama,is there any deeper meaning behind the importance given to Balarama by Lord Krishna?

    From the scientific angle?

To me , it seems so.

Krishna represents, among other things the embodiment of the Universe, as He displayed it to Arjuna in Kurukshetra in His Viswaroopa.

Krishna, an Avatar of Vishnu is beyond Time and Space and in fact He is Time and Space.

Vishnu has three aspects, the fact many of us are unaware.

Please read my post on Three Visnus.

    They are,

In Gaudīya Vaishnavism, a school of VaishnaVaishnavism, the Sātvata-tantra describes three different forms, or aspects, of Vishnu as Mahā Vishnu, Garbhodakaśāyī Vishnu andKsirodakaśāyī Vishnu (Paramātmā), with each form having a different role in the maintenance of the Universe and its inhabitants:

“For material creation, Lord Krishna’s plenary expansion assumes three Vishnus. The first one, Mahā Viṣṇu, creates the total material energy, known as the mahat-tattva. The second, Garbhodakaśāyī Viṣṇu, enters into all the universes to create diversities in each of them. The third, Kṣīrodakaśāyī Vishnu, is diffused as the all-pervading Supersoul in all the universes in heart of every living being and is known as Paramātmā. He is present even within the atoms. Real object of meditation in Yoga is a Paramātmā. Anyone who knows them can be liberated from material entanglement.”(Satvata Tantra)

    Now to Adisesha,

Shesha is said to hold all the planets of the universe on his hoods and to constantly sing the glories of the god Vishnu from all his mouths. He is sometimes referred to as Ananta Shesha, which translates as endless-Shesha or Adishesha “first Shesha”. It is said that when Adishesa uncoils, time moves forward and creation takes place and when he coils back, the universe ceases to exist.

Please refer my posts on this.

I have also written on the Singularity in Blackholes, describes the Brahman described in the Vedas.

    Time runs backwards,

    It recoils.

Ina Blackole, all events appear to be at a Standstill, though it is not.

There is a Singularity in a Black hole which one can not perceive.

In the centre of a black hole is a gravitational singularity, a one-dimensionalpoint which contains infinite mass in an infinitely small space, where gravitybecome infinite and space-time curves infinitely, and where the laws of physics as we know them cease to operate. As the eminent American physicist Kip Thorne describes it, it is “the point where all laws of physics break down”.

There is a reference in the Ramayana that Hanuman entered into a Black hole/wormhole in the Vindhya Mountains during His search of Sita.

And Lakshmana wentdown the Sarayau River to Patala Loka.

Balarama entered Patala Loka as a white serpent,( basic Light) .

‘In Ramayana, Lakshmana went to the Sarayu river, ended life by engaging in meditation and stopping his breathing. It is said his soul went to Patala Loka’

Adishesha lies on the Garbhodaka Ocean. This universe lies inside Hiranyagarbh which also has 14 planetary systems. Beneath the 14 planetary system is the cosmic ocean known as Garbhodaka ocean.

According to SB 5.23.9, the last planetary system is Patala. Further 30,000 yojanas(ancient distance measurement unit) below, Adishesha lies on Garbhodaka ocean but doesn’t hold any planetary systems.

    According to SB 2.7.1

Only under certain conditions do the planets float as weightless balls in the air, and as soon as these conditions are disturbed, the planets may fall down in the Garbhodaka Ocean, which covers half the universe. The other half is the spherical dome within which the innumerable planetary systems exist. The floating of the planets in the weightless air is due to the inner constitution of the globes, and the modernized drilling of the earth to exploit oil from within is a sort of disturbance by the modern demons and can result in a greatly harmful reaction to the floating condition of the earth.’

Hinduism describes 14 Lokas belonging to This Universe and there are many more and these are explained in the Devi Mahatmiyam and in the Puranas that speak of Devi.

The point that there are unobservable Universes is agreed upon by Quantum and they admit to 10 such places.

    Hinduism mentions 14.

I had written on these issues .

So, in the present context, The Time Principle is enumerated in the form of Lakshmana and Balaram where they had gone into the Garbhodaka Ocean which is the outer limit of our present Universe, though unobservable and all these rest on Garbhohaka Vishnu.

Please read my posts on Quantum in order to know more on this topic.

  • How To Read Study Understand Hinduism

I received a question as to how to read and understand Hinduism, Sanatana Dharma.

The sender of this question is Professional in IT from IIT .

    Vedas.Image.jpg
    Vedas.

‘Would that be alright if I begin with the Brahma Sutra Bhashya of Shankaracharya?

    It is difficult to understand.

    Can you suggest any method’

I thought these some of the questions many are seeking answers for.

Strictly speaking the Vedas have to be studied for Twelve years minimum to have an idea.

Unlike the other Religions, Hinduism is based on Experience and Intuition and it takes time for one to grasp.

So it is difficult to understand the Vedas in the present day unless one decides to spend a lifetime on studying the Vedas, which is not practical now.

Then we have the Ithihasas Puranas Stotras Stuthis and Legends.

    Where to begin?

It looks very complex and one is bewildered at the seemingly vast knowledge base and it appears at a first glance each contradict the other.

The one is also confused by the thoughts in Hinduism that the Reality is Not One(Advaita),

    Qualified Not Two (Visishtadvaita)

    Dualism(Dwaita).

33 Crore Gods mentioned in the Puranas,

    You have Trimurthis,

Of the some say Shiva is superior, Others Vishnu and yet others Devi and so many versions.

And Hinduism , in the form of Karma Yoga asks one to forego the results of action.

Bhakthi Yoga says that One has to simply surrender to God and nothing else is needed.

Yet we have the Karmas sanctioned in the Vedas which are to be performed by very one.

We have Raja Yoga, in the form of Yoga where one learns to control the Mind and which says Mind control alone will do, nothing else is required!

Hinduism says that there is Destiny and your Life is prepared and at the same time says that one can raise by one’s effort.

Hinduism says that one should renounce things and be in the world.

    Seemingly contradictory.

    But they are not.

I have posted a few articles on each of these aspects.

Now to the question of Reading Hinduism.

    I recommend the following,

1.Outlines of Indian Philosophy by Professor Hiriyanna. http://amzn.to/1PnBdSz

    2. The Collected works of Swami Vivekananda( all the volumes) http://amzn.to/1L6V1Uk

    3. The Eighteen Puranas.

These will give one the background

What is required is patience to  form conclusions and answers for the questions that may arise one reads these.

They will be cleared as you go along.

    Studying Hinduism.

Now one can read the Pancha Sukthas, Purusha Suktha, Narayana Suktha, Vishnu Suktha, Durga Suktha and Sri Suktha.

    And Sri Rudram and Namakam.

Slokas Vishnu Sahasranama and Lalita Sahsranama.

As ou along these lines out shall get links to proceed further.

Hinduism is not text-based but is based on Experience and Divine Guidance.

Once you start in good earnest out shall get all the answers.

To understand Hinduism one has to live as prescribed in the Vedas and engage one self in Sadhana.

This will be facilitated by  studying the Bhasyas of the three Acharyas, Shankara, Ramanuja and Madhwa.

Not to forget the Jewel The Bhagavad Gita!

  • Krishna Abandoned His Army Narayana Sena?

The questions the younger generation asks of about Hinduism are very intelligent and thought-provoking.

They do not accept anything at face value. They ask questions that are very pertinent and if we answer them, they are motivated to study Hinduism.

     Vishnu,Brahma,Rama, Shiva, Krishna.Image.jpg
    Vishnu,Brahma,Rama, Shiva, Krishna.

Asking them to follow Hinduism, because it ought to be followed puts them off.

As I have been mentioning in many of posts that my  desire is to explain Hinduism, to the extent I know, in simple terms and many youngsters have been on to me over phone, email with questions.

    Recently I had this question.

In The Mahabharata, Duryodhana chose the army of Lord Krishna, the Narayana Sena, instead of  the unarmed Krishna for the Mahabharata Battle.

Krishna acceded the request and was with the Pandavas during the Mahabharata Battle.

    The question is,

Did not Krishna abandon His army and desert them?

    Why did He do so?

Was He not responsible for the deaths of his army personnel?

For no fault of their own?

    Where is Krishna’s Dharma?

When we study the Avatars of Rama and Krishna we may notice that while Lord Krishna was aware of the fact that he was the incarnation of Lord Vishnu at all times, Rama did not have any idea that he was , save the occasion when the Sakthi Ayudha od Ravana, granted to him, neared Rama’s Chest.

He remembered He was Lord Vishnu, chanted the Pranava, OM and the Sakthi Syudha, which never fails, was shattered.

Even this instance Rama for got immediately.

And Rama had this feeling of Aham.

That is He identified Himself as human Being and went through the gamut of emotions and sufferings that are unique to Humans.

He was attached To Dasaratha, Brothers, Sita,Hanuman and considered Ravana as enemy as a Human would!

But Krishna had no-no such attributes.

In fact it does not mater to him personally by way of gains whether Duryodhan won or Pandavas succeed.

    Both were his cousins.

Yet he chose the Panadavas, though army wise they were weaker.

    Why ?

Because it was to protect Dharma .

He never had any personal feelings or score to settle with any one though they have wronged Him.

He killed them because they had to be killed to protect Dharma.

Sisupala was Krishna’s nephew and Krishna promised his mother that He could bear with 100 insults but would bear no more.

At the Rajasuya Yaga of Yudhistra,at the time of performing the Akrora Pooja, paying the first respect in an assembly, when Krishna was chosen for the honor, Sisupala started abusing Krishna in the vilest terms.

Krishna was listening tho all of them with a smile.

Bhima asked Krishna as to why Krishna was tolerating  Sisupala instead of killing hi, Krishna replied that He has promised Sisupala’s mother that he (Krishna) would bear 100 insults.

Bhima asked what if Sisupla were to stop one short of 100 insults.

Krishna replied that it is Destiny that Sisupala would complete 100 and be killed by Him.

Such is the detachment and performance of duty as a Karma Yogi by Krishna.

When Krishna’s son was cursed by the Rishis and they came to Krishna requesting His forbearance Krishna replied that there was nothing wrong in their curse as his son deserved it!

Or when the Hunter who slew Krishna by an arrow, prostrated before Krishna and asked for His mercy, Krishna replied that He was being killed by the hunter for His  killing of Vaali hiding behind a tree and he blessed the Hunter!

Rama was elevating Himself as Divine, without Knowing He was Divinity, Krishna was Divinity posing as a Human.

The purpose of Krishna Avatar is to reduce the burden of the earth and restore Dharma.

    Nothing more.

So he had no personal attachment to any one including his army.

It may also be noted that Krishna had never been a King , but only a Prince because of a Curse to Vrishnis.

    Balaram was the King.

Interesting to note that Balarama was av Avatar of Adi Sesha as Lakshmana was in the Treta Yuga.

Rama vowed to serve Lakshmana in the next Avatar to Lakshmana for the devotion he exhibited to Rama nd Sita,

This He repaid in the  Krishna Avatara when he took a back seat and carried out Balarama’s orders.

All the machinations Krishna indulged in th Mahabharata were when Balarama was conveniently absented at Krishna’s request!

But Balarama never knew until Krishna’s job was done.

  • Protection From Danger Apad Udharaka Hanumath Stotram Vibishana

Protection From Danger Apad Udharaka Hanumath Stotram Vibishana

Life is balance between Risks and Our Faith.

Sanatana Dharma has three classifications of the Happenings of the world and the individual.

    Adi Bautikam.

    Adyathmikam, and

    Adi Daivikam.

Adi Bautikam relates to the events happening because the Five Elements of Nature, Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether.

One has no real protection from these when they unleash themselves

Ask any one who has watched the film Gravity.

If he/ she does not admit to being scared to the level of Panic looking at the vast expanse of Space and for a moment not imagined themselves in the predicament of being lost in Space.

Efforts and our achievements the  in Science vanish in front of them.

Recall The Tsunami that struck South India in the recent past

Adyatmikam related the reaction for actions we have performed, one can not escape the recoil.

Adi Daivikam is at the Pleasure of God, in commensurate with our actions.

Despite knowing that we are powerless and puny, we arrogate ourselves with Knowledge and Powere.

Even such men at times of crisis, turn to God.

I read in a Thriller by Fredrick Forsyth, The Icon, a seemingly atheist general says,

Show me one man who does not believe in the Power of something beyond him, when one sees Cannon Shells blowing up within inches of him, him remaining unhurt, while those near him were killed.

The only recourse is to seek the help of God at times of Crisis.

Hanuman is the Master of encountering Crises.

He would ensure that you remain free of fear.

On a daily basis one may recite,

Buddhir Balam Yaso Dhairyam Nirbhayathvama Arogatha,

    Ajaatyam Vaakpatuthvancham,

    Hanumath Smaranaath Bahaveteth.

This will release you from fears of any kind.

There is yet another stotra by Vibishana, for overcoming Danger.

    It is

    Apad Udharaka Hanumath Stotram

The man who every week reads or chants this mantra,
    Composed by Lord Vibheeshana,
In king’s place, in a meeting or during arguments, would without fail,
And without any need for enquiry, come out of all dangers.

    Markatesa, mahothsaha, sarva soka vinasaka,
Shathrun samhara maam raksha sreeyam cha adha pradehi may., 12

  • Abhimanyu Would Have Killed Krishna

    Abhimanyu Would Have Killed Krishna

In my earlier Post on Chakra Vyuha, Formation and Piplu Fort I mentioned that Krishna did not teach Abhimanyu,His Nephew, the art of breaking out of the Chakra/Padma Vyuha, but taught him how to enter it, when Abhimanyu was in his mother Shubadras’ womb.

And I mentioned that krishna would not left it at that for such a silly reason as having been called by some body while he was teaching his nephew and Krishna had his reason.

The reason is that has Krishna taught Abhimanyu the art of leaving Chakra Vyuha, he would have survived and a later date would have killed Krishna Himself!

According to Krishna, Abhimanyu was an incarnation of a very powerful demon named (Kalayvan) who was capable of killing him at a later point. Abhimanyu’s only weakness is his partial knowledge about Chakravyuha. Hence, according to Krishna the Chakravyuha was indeed launched to kill Abhimanyu as this is the only way by which Abhimanyu can attain Moksha. Hence, Krishna never imparts the knowledge of “how to come out of Chakravyuha?” to Abhimanyu inspite of being his guru in Dwaraka. Thus, on the 13th day Lord Krishna does not give any clue to Arjun that the Chakravyuha was launched by Dronacharya inspite of foreseeing it.

“According to one South Indian tradition, it is a curse from Durvasa that makes Abhimanyu a Rakshasa in his current birth. In a former life he was a gatekeeper at Rama’s palace, and Durvasa cursed him to be born as a Rakshasa in his future life because he refused entry to the sage into Rama’s court. However, the reason for Krishna desiring Abhimanyu’s death was not exactly because he was a Rakshasa, but because Abhimanyu is capable of killing the entire Kaurava clan all alone, and that would make it impossible for the Pandava brothers, who had taken vows of killing the individual Kauravas’ . ( http://www.harekrsna.com/sun/features/09-12/features2590.htm)

ncarnated as Abhimanyu , he was in his previous birth known as Kalayavan, the King of Magadha, who was an asura or demon and with the help of other Kings such as Jarasandha and Shalva invaded Mathura with an army of thirty million Rakshasa soldiers against Krishna. He was undefeated and unmatched in battle due to the boon given to him by Lord Shiva that no Yadava could kill him in battle, but he was at the same time also merciless and cruel. Coming to know about the protection given by Lord Shiva to Kalayavana, Sri Krishna, somewhat dejected, shifted to Dwarka from Mathura.

Kalayavan knew that Krishna is the only person who could defeat him in battle and by accepting this challenge he set out to invade Krishna’s kingdom. When the two armies faced each other in battle, Krishna dismounted from his chariot and began to walk away, followed by Kalayavan. After a long time Krishna, followed by Kalayavan entered a dark cave. This cave at the time was inhabited by the Rishi Muchukunda who had been meditating there for generations.

King Muchukunda, a king of the Solar dynasty and son of Mandhata had on the request of Lord Indra gone to Devaloka [ Heavens] along with his forces and defeated the Asuras (demons). Indra wanted to bless him with an award for the service, which he had rendered. Muchukunda, feeling very tired, wanted to be shown a place, where he could have sound sleep and meditate, because he had not slept for a long time. Indra led him to a cave on earth and told him that anyone who disturbed him in sleep, would be reduced to ashes by his very look.

    http://www.trinetra.org.uk/#/hindu-history-abhimanyu/4539468650)

Another tale of Abhimanyu’s origin says, Abhimanyu is the reincarnation of Varchas, the son of the Moon god. When the Moon god was asked to let his son incarnate himself on earth by the other devas, he made a pact that his son will only remain on earth for 16 years as he could not bear to be separated from him. Abhimanyu was 16 years old when he died in the war. Hence, on the 13th day Krishna does not intervene while the Chakravyuha was formed by Dronacharya despite knowing that without adequate knowledge, Abhimanyu would get killed in the battle.

Arjun was never the martial arts instructor for Abhimanyu, rather Krishna was. Now Krishna being the Lord Narayan himself, Arjun must have expected Abhimanyu to be properly trained, and must not have checked about his training at all.

Furthermore, Lord Krishna knew that Abhimanyu was so powerful a warrior, that he could alone defeat and kill all the Kauravas, which would not let the Pandava vows to be fulfilled of killing the Kauravas on their own, and Krishna did not want Mahabharata’s hero to be anyone else other than Arjun (who was his devotee). Also, Krishna knew that with the knowledge of such treachery from Kauravas to kill his son, Arjun would be furious and would be killing all the Kauravas with less guilt in his conscience..

    Kalayavana.

“Kalayavana, the King of Magadha and Salva attacked the city of Mathura, but when the city was encircled by their soldiers, the Lord refrained from killing them personally, just to show the power of His own men.

Purport: After the death of Kamsa, when Mathura was encircled by the soldiers of Kalayavana, Jarasandha and Salva, the Lord seemingly fled from the city, and thus He is known as Ranchor, or one who fled from fighting. Actually, the fact was that the Lord wanted to kill them through the agency of His own men, devotees like Mucukunda and Bhima. Kalayavana and the King of Magadha were killed by Mucukunda and Bhima respectively, who acted as agents of the Lord. By such acts the Lord wanted to exhibit the prowess of His devotees, as if He were personally unable to fight but His devotees could kill them.”

After the invasion, Krishna departed to build a city of Dwārkā amidst sea, transported all his people and left them there.

Krishna lured Kalayavan into the cave of the mighty Muchukunda, who upon being disturbed from sleep by his kick, cast a fiery glance and reduced him to ashes.

This legend appears to indicate an invasion from the Himalayas. According to the Vishnu Purana and Harivamsa, Kalayavan was the son of a Brahmin named Ganga, and a Yavana princess.

Muchukunda was a Tamil King who established Saptha Vidanga Sthalas for Lord Shiva.
