Earth Age 432 * One Million Siddha Romasa Science Agrees

The world of Siddhas is unique. Their way of living, their presence, their works are quite mysterious.Siddhas are different class of Yogis Rishis,Munis,though it is difficult to say how different they are. So also the difference between Guru Parampara of South India and of North India. The Siddhas are too numerous to be listed. However, 18 of them are regarded as primary Siddhas, the first Siddha being Siva Himself, followed by Agastya,Bhogar,Patanjali and others. One such great Siddha is Kaaka Bhujanga. His son is Romasa. He got his name because his body was covered with hair. It is the legend of this Siddha that ,he was shown allowed to see Brahma lipi, that is his Fate as determined by Brahma( which Brahma could not remember), by Vishnu and was given the boon to live long so that he can meditate for a long period of Time. He was given the boon that one year of his life would pass when one hair falls from his body. And this period corresponds to one life Time of A Brahma( you may check the calculation of Brahma’s life in this article).

When Shiva Uma marriage took place in the Himalayas, Agastya couldn’t be present there as Siva ordered him to go South to balance the earth( this to indicate the axis tilt in Astronomy).Hence, on the plea of Agastya, Siva along with Parvathi have darshan of marriage to Agastya.Romasa also wanted to have darshan of the event.Agastya left nine lotuses in the Tamrabarani River and asked Romasa to build Siva temples at each place.He did so.

Romasa had written a host of books. I have provided the list towards the close of the article.

Romasa also has calculated the Age of Earth,Solar System and the Universe,Multiverse. I am providing below the details.His calculations tally with what modern physicists/ Astronomers say. And his calculations also concur with what Sanskrit texts say.Romasa’s works are in Tamil and his system of Spirituality is that of Saiva Siddhantha) Advaitha of Tamils ( though it is incorrect to say South Advaita, I am saying it to convey the meaning.Those who know Adi Shankaracharya Advaita and Tamil Saiva Siddhantha would know what I am talking about)

Brahma’s day is divided in one thousand cycles (Maha Yuga, or the Great Year). Maha Yuga, during which life, including the human race appears and then disappears, has 71 divisions, each made of 14 Manvantara (1000) years. Each Maha Yuga lasts for 4,320,000 years.

Manvantara is Manu’s cycle, the one who gives birth and governs the human race. before & after each manvantara there’s a sandhikal as long as krutyuga & in that time there is all water on earth.

Each Maha Yuga consists of a series of four shorter yugas, or ages.

The yugas get progressively worse from a moral point of view as one proceeds from one yuga to another. As a result, each yuga is of shorter duration than the age that preceded it.

The current Kali Yuga (Iron Age) began at midnight 17 February / 18 February in 3102 BC in the proleptic Julian calendar (Year 6898 of the Holocene Era.)…One day in the life of Brahma is called a Kalpa or 4.32 billion years.Every Kalpa creates 14 Manus one after the other, who in turn manifest and regulate this world. Thus, there are fourteen generations of Manu in each Kalpa. Each Manu’s life (Manvantara) consists of 71 Chaturyugas (quartets of Yugas or eras). Each Chaturyuga is composed of four eras or Yugas: Satya, Treta, Dwapara and Kali. if we add all manvantaras(4320000x71x14)as long as 4 chaturyuga will be missing its because sandhikaal.after & before each manvantara so 15 sandhikaal The span of the Satya Yuga is 1,728,000 human years, Treta Yuga is 1,296,000 human years long, the Dwapara Yuga 864,000 human years and the Kali Yuga432,000 human years.^[8] When Manu perishes at the end of his life, Brahma creates the next Manu and the cycle continues until all fourteen Manus and the Universe perish by the end of Bramha’s day. When ‘night’ falls, Brahma goes to sleep for a period of 4.32 billion years, which is a period of time equal one day (of Brahma) and the lives of fourteen Manus. The next ‘morning’, Brahma creates fourteen additional Manus in sequence just as he has done on the previous ‘day’. The cycle goes on for 100 ‘divine years’ at the end of which Brahma perishes and is regenerated. Bramha’s entire life equals 311 trillion, 40 billion years. Thus a second of Brahmā is 98,630 years…..The age of the Earth is 4.54 ± 0.05 billion years (4.54 × 10⁹ years ± 1%). Shiva Thiruvannamalai At The Instant Of Earth’s Creation By Brahma

The Puranas speak of Time on a Huge scale.

There are four Yugas and they are created, destroyed and recreated.

According to Hinduism, destruction is a misnomer.

It is hidden.

Curious enough modern Quantum Physics calls it in a different way as projection of Multi Verses.

I have written a couple of articles on Multi verses in Hinduism.

The Time scale of Sanatana Dharma has the following points.

The Universe is created, hidden and re projected.
This happens at three-time frames called Manvantara, Kalpa and Yuga.
Three kinds of cataclysms take place.One is water, Another by Fire and another is total darkness each of these correspond to the dissolution at the end of Manvantara, Kalpa and yuga.
The Universe is eternal.
Time is eternal.
Time is non linear.
Time is Cyclic.

What looks like 100 years in the cosmos of Brahma could be thousands of years in other worlds, millions of years in some other worlds and 311 trillion and 40 billion years for our solar system and earth. The life span of Lord Brahma, the creator, is 100 ‘Brahma-Years’.

Once Brahma dies there is an equal period of unmanifestation for 311 trillion, 40 billion years, until the next Bramha is created. During one life of Brahma there are 504 000 Manus (Vedic “Adams”) are changing, there are 5040 Manus are changing during one year of Brahma, and 420 Manus manifest during one month of Brahmā. During the course of my research into Sanatana Dharma I stumbled across these facts which are authenticated by Modern Science.

Thiruvannamali in Tamil Nadu, India is over 3.5 Billion Years old.
Shiva Uma Marraige took place 40 Millionyeas ago.
Tirupati is over 2100 million years old.
An ancient site is Chennai, Tamil Nadu is dated around a Million years
Jwalapuram ,Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India is dated around 74,000 years

I wanted to look into this taking into account these points,The Age of Earth as stated by the Hindu Puranas and by Modern science.

Now according to Hindu Cosmology, the earth is .4.32 Billion years old.

The puranic view asserts that the universe is created, destroyed, and re-created in an eternally repetitive series of cycles. In Hindu cosmology, a universe endures for about 4,320,000,000 years (one day of Brahma, the creator or kalpa) and is then destroyed by fire or water elements. At this point, Brahma rests for one night, just as long as the day. This process, named pralaya (literallyespecial dissolution in Sanskrit, commonly translated as Cataclysm), repeats for 100 Brahma years (311 Trillion, 40 Billion Human Years) that represents Brahma’s lifespan. Brahma is regarded as a manifestation of Brahman as the creator.

Modern scientific view is that the earth is…4.54 Billion years + or – 5 Billion years!

The age of the Earth is 4.54 ± 0.05 billion years (4.54 × 10⁹ years ± 1%). This age is based on evidence from radiometric age dating of meteorite material and is consistent with the radiometric ages of the oldest-known terrestrial and lunar samples.

Following the scientific revolution and the development of radiometric age dating, measurements of lead in uranium-rich mineralsshowed that some were in excess of a billion years old.The oldest such minerals analyzed to date—small crystals of zircon from the Jack Hills of Western Australia—are at least 4.404 billion years old. Comparing the mass and luminosity of the Sun to those of other stars, it appears that the Solar System cannot be much older than those rocks. Calcium-aluminium-rich inclusions – the oldest known solid constituents within meteorites that are formed within the Solar System – are 4.567 billion years old, giving an age for the solar system and an upper limit for the age of Earth.

It is hypothesised that the accretion of Earth began soon after the formation of the calcium-aluminium-rich inclusions and themeteorites. Because the exact amount of time this accretion process took is not yet known, and the predictions from different accretion models range from a few millions up to about 100 million years, the exact age of Earth is difficult to determine. It is also difficult to determine the exact age of the oldest rocks on Earth, exposed at the surface, as they are aggregates of minerals of possibly different ages..

Now Thiruvannamalai,Tamil Nadu, India is 3.5 Billion years old!

In Puranic version of Brahma’s creation, the first creation for this kalpa was around 4.32 Billion Years.

In such great stretches of Time 5 to 10 billion years is allowed in calculation.

Hence it is probable Shiva was at Thiruvannamalai when Brahma created the world around 4.32 Billion Years ago!

Hinduism 14 Lokas Quantum Mutiverse Study

Fourteen Lokas or the Planes of Existence are described in Hinduim.

There are two interpretations of the Lokas.

One is that these are The Stages of mental development in a Spiritual Journey.

Another is that these are Planes of Existence at other levels, complying with Laws that are unique to them, Including the Laws of Physics.

They exist as our earth exists in Time and Space, where the Space Time concepts are different from ours.

It may be noted that the day of the Devas is equivalent to 100 Earth Years.

There is a Mention of Mandhaata visiting Brahma loka for a day and on returning to Earth he finds that 100 Years have lapsed.

I feel that there are two different sets of Lokas that are being spoken in Hinduism.

There are references to Chandra and Surya Lokas, which are not listed in the 14 Lokas List.

These are called Chandra Mandala and Surya Mandala as well.

Mandala may probably mean the sub planetary systems around the Moon and Sun respectively

At the same time the Yoga Schools call various stages of mental development as the level of Chandra, which indicates Mind while Surya indicates

Intellect.

Taking these to mean and comparing them with the Quantum Theory which states that there are other planes where things exist and they do not obey

the Laws of our Earth’s Physical laws.

Latest findings indicate that the Multi verses are Infinite and they depend on the Perceiver and his ability to perceive them.

Hinduism says exactly the same with Time being Cyclic.

Professor Arthur Holmes (1895-1965) geologist, professor at the University of Durham. He writes regarding the age of the earth in his great book, The Age of Earth (1913) as follows:

“Long before it became a scientific aspiration to estimate the age of the earth, many elaborate systems of the world chronology had been devised by the sages of antiquity. The most remarkable of these occult time-scales is that of the ancient Hindus, whose astonishing concept of the Earth’s duration has been traced back to Manusmriti, a sacred book.”

Alan Watts, a professor, graduate school dean and research fellow of Harvard University, drew heavily on the insights of Vedanta. Watts became well known in the 1960s as a pioneer in bringing Eastern philosophy to the West. He wrote:

“To the philosophers of India, however, Relativity is no new discovery, just as the concept of light years is no matter for astonishment to people used to thinking of time in millions of kalpas, ( A kalpa is about 4,320,000 years). The fact that the wise men of India have not been concerned with technological applications of this knowledge arises from the circumstance that technology is but one of innumerable ways of applying it.”

When the Hindu calculation of the present age of the earth and the expanding universe could make Professor Holmes so astonished, the precision with which the Hindu calculation regarding the age of the entire Universe was made would make any man spellbound.

The multiverse (or meta-universe) is the hypothetical set of infinite or finite possible universes (including the historical universe we consistently experience) that together comprise everything that exists and can exist: the entirety of space, time, matter, and energy as well as the physical laws and constants that describe them. The various universes within the multiverse are sometimes called parallel universes.

The structure of the multiverse, the nature of each universe within it and the relationships among the various constituent universes, depend on the specific multiverse hypothesis considered.
