“To be consistent with the other casting choices made for the film, I decided to go with an entirely international cast,” Lee said in a statement about the decision earlier in September. “I very much admire Tobey and look forward to working with him again in the future.”

Washington Post‘s Reporter ,after finalising a house, meets with an accident along with his wife.
The seriously injured wife dies in the Hospital.
At the Hospital, he comes across a note-book with strange doodles by his wife.
He decides to take some days off and drives away.
After a couple of hours his car is stuck and he knocks on the doors of a house.
When he comes to know where he has landed, he is bewildered for he could not have travelled that distance between the time he left and his arrival at the city.
The house owner comes with his gun ready to shoot the reporter saying that he had been knocking at the door for the past couple of Days.
The local police woman saves him.
Later he comes to know from the woman that the city has been witnessing strange things and behaviour from its residents.
She also tells him she has been having a vivid dream that she was dying by drowning , some how she remains alive and numbers are whispered in her ears.
In the meanwhile the man whom he met tells the reporter that he has been hearing voices of a disaster from his wash basin sink.
He also suffers from the same ailment which the reporter’s wife was diagnosed with before her death.
The man dies mysteriously.
The reporter hears voices on the telephone.
How these things end is the story.
The Story is reported to be based on facts.
”
On Nov. 15, 1966, two young couples from Point Pleasant, Roger and Linda Scarberry, and Steve and Mary Mallette told police they saw a large white creature whose eyes “glowed red” when the car headlights picked it up. They described it as a “flying man with ten foot wings” following their car while they were driving in an area of town known as ‘the TNT area‘, the site of a former World War II munitions plant.[5][6]
During the next few days, other people reported similar sightings. Two volunteer firemen who sighted it said it was a “large bird with red eyes”. Mason County Sheriff George Johnson commented that he believed the sightings were due to an unusually large heron he termed a “shitepoke”. Contractor Newell Partridge told Johnson that when he aimed a flashlight at a creature in a nearby field its eyes glowed “like bicycle reflectors”, and blamed buzzing noises from his television set and the disappearance of his German Shepherd dog on the creature.[7] Wildlife biologist Dr. Robert L. Smith at West Virginia University told reporters that descriptions and sightings all fit the Sandhill Crane, a large American crane almost as high as a man with a seven foot wingspan featuring circles of reddish coloring around the eyes, and that the bird may have wandered out of its migration route.
There were no Mothman reports in the immediate aftermath of the December 15, 1967 collapse of the Silver Bridge and the death of 46 people, giving rise to legends that the Mothman sightings and the bridge collapse were connected”
In reality, 46 people died in the collapse of the Silver Bridge, not 36. Also, the film’s claim at the end credits of the collapse of the Silver Bridge never being explained is incorrect; the incident was found to be caused by the failure of an eye-bar in a suspension chain.[6]
The film is devoid of melodrama and is quite engaging.
1408 is a film that sets out to explore the world of the paranormal.
A writer who specializes in paranormal stories gets into a Hotel Room in New York, reported to have caused bizarre Deaths, despite being warned not to enter.
Though expected to have an open mind the writer is a Non Believer.
How he ends up a believer forms the Story.
The first question one wishes to ask the writer is how a Hotel in a Major City had the room open despite the disasters of 56 people having died in mysterious circumstances.
The feeble answer through the manager is that the Corporation that runs the Hotel wants it to be open!
The question how the law enforcing agencies reacted to the deaths is also left unanswered.
However, the film does bring into the fore all your irrational fears reinforced, especially the basic fears of Water,Fire, Snow and of course Death.
The scenes are so interspersed with instances where one is intrigued as to the fact whether the scene one witnesses is the Story or one of the spirit made confusions in the mind of the writer
The Movie also touches on Human tenderness and affection. when the writer sees his dead child talking to him and her last days are flashed to him.
The dialogue where his dead father tells him –’You are what I was and you shall be what I am’ expresses Life and Death in a simple statement.
barring these minor points, the film is potboiler playing to your fear of the unknown.
Might able a Film for those who want to watch a Film that makes them confused for no reason .
The Books by Robert Ludlum based on the Character of Jason Bourne is perhaps the only film produced in sequence after Ian Fleming’s James Bond.
As a standard, Ludlum’s Books,Bourne Identity,Bourne Supremacy. Bourne Ultimatum,The Parsifal Mosaic,The Matarese Circle,The Rhinemann Exchange,Berlin Deception ,Gemini contenders-all these books have either of these things in common.
-A coterie unaccountable to any one, pulls the strings to engineer World Order.
-A Complex ,Covert Operation, normally turning sour, especially by the Consular Ops,USA.
The plot may appear to be simple, yet by the time one goes through, he is perplexed,so complex is Ludlum’s way of weaving the Story.
Normally one would fail to go through the first hundred pages patiently, this is Ludlum’s Style of narration.
Once you are through the first hundred pages, there is no stopping.
Most of the Operations, Organisations mentioned in the Books have some element of truth in them.
He always indirectly hints at Illuminati in all his Books.
He also assumes a certain amount knowledge of International Affairs on the part of the readers.
By and large, Ludlum is a good read, for his plots and his mastery over the language(though some phrases like ‘he roared’ etc- and the lady characters seem to be glorified for no real reason).
The new Bourne Film is being released in August 2012.

Cameron emerged from his 12-tonne, lime green submarine, Deepsea Challenger, early this morning after travelling nearly seven miles down to the desert-like bottom of the trench. His ship was equipped with 3D cameras to shoot footage for a planned documentary, using lighting from a spectacular eight-foot tower of LEDs. The director of Titanic andAvatar, who has maintained a long-term interest in the secrets of the oceans’ depths, was able to direct and film the action from within the sub.
