  • Shriners Free Masons Islam

I recently came across a posting in Facebook, where it speaks of Shriners and Free Masons, where it warns Shriners and Free Masons.

    Relationship between Free Masonry .
    Shriners and Free Masons

“Excerpts from the Honorable Minister #Farrakhan: Saviours Day: 2011

“Did you know that 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence were #Freemasons? Now I’m going into your secrets for a minute.  Not you black #Mason and #Shriner, you don’t have any secret.  It’s the white #Masons and #Shriners that we are going to expose in a minute.

Now listen to this. At least nine of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence were Freemasons.  George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, James Monroe, John Jay, John Hancock, Paul Revere, John Paul Jones, and James Otis. Later on in 1870, out of #Freemasonry came a higher order of Masonry called the #Shriners.  Now the difference between the Masons and Shriners is that to be a Shriner you must be a Master Mason in good standing”.

Keeping the secret of who the Black man is was the duty of every white Mason. Not the Black Mason or Shriner, because you were never told that the secret was all about you.  The white Masons and Shriners have always known the secret from Europe to America.   In Europe a Freemason understands the degrees and what it is to be a Master Mason.  They know something of the African origin of civilization. The advancements in Egypt and the great architectural genius of the Black man.  They learned all of that through their study of the original Bible that has always been locked away among the aristocracy.  ”

    Why this spewing of venom?

Shriners are an ancient Arab Society and was established in 1870.

They have 200 Temples/Chapters and are running Hospitals.

Shriners International describes itself as a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth. There are approximately 340,000 members from 195 temples (chapters) in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, Mexico, the Republic of Panama, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Europe and Australia. On July 6, 2011, Shriners International commissioned Emirat Shriners of Heidelberg, Germany, as its 194th temple, and took the first steps toward forming a new temple in Mindanao, Philippines.[3] Eventually on July 3, 2012, Agila Shriners of Mindanao, Philippines was chartered as the 195th temple.

Despite its theme, the Shrine is not connected to Islam. It is a men’s fraternity rather than a religion or religious group. Its only religious requirement is indirect: all Shriners must be Masons, and petitioners to Freemasonry must profess a belief in a Supreme Being. To further minimize confusion with religion, the use of the word “temple” to describe Shriners’ buildings has been replaced by “Shrine Center”, although individual local chapters are still called temples.

Until 2000, before being eligible for membership in the Shrine, a person had to complete either the Scottish Rite or York Rite degrees of Masonry,[9] but now any Master Mason can join.[10]

Shriners count among their ranks presidents, senators, local business leaders, professional golfers, country music stars, astronauts and racecar drivers.

“They’re fraternal organizations. Originally many of them were what is known as “benevolent societies.” Back in the days before social security, welfare and life insurance, [we’re talking 1700’s here] groups of like minded people would join together and pool funds so that in the event that something happened to one of them [injury on the job, death, old age] there was a sort of fund set up to take care of the worker, or take care of their families. So, originally, the Masons were masons. The Odd Fellows were people who did odd jobs [so one legend of how they came to be goes]. There are more smaller groups all over the US and the UK like the Order of Red Men, the Loyal Order of the Golden North, the Order of Woodsmen. Many of the lodges have some sort of women’s auxilliary and the ones that are really thriving tend to have full-fledged female sister organizations. I may be getting some of the names off but that’s the general gist. Now that these organizations don’t serve the same “social safety net” purpose, many of them are dying out and have mostly older folks as members. However, many of the groups have a fair amount of funds both in dues collected over decades if not centuries as well as real estate holdings. You can see Odd Fellows and Masonic buildings in a lot of smaller towns, just look for the scales or the three links. Each group has their own pet charities. The Shriners take care of kids with a series of hospitals worldwide, the Odd Fellows run cemeteries and rest homes for their members and give scholarships to local kids. I don’t know about the Masons, but the Odd Fellows are very circumspect about their philanthropy, so a lot of their bequests can seem a bit on the secret side.”

Funny how people find obscure points to fight?

  • ‘Hindus Do Not Enter Our Village’ Fatwa India Muslims

Muslim majority villages near Rameswaram have banned the entry of Hindus from entering Muslim villages,Daily Pioneer reported on 16 December 2013

No major news paper has picked up the story yet nor are they likely, for they are Secular!

    The news on this Fatwa.

    Muslim Village bans Hindus
Semi Minaret like arch in an Islamic Village bannning Hindus

Ramanathapuram district, 527 km south of Chennai, which houses Rameswaram Temple and many holy shrines, is getting out of bound for outsiders. Local Jamaath Councils have issued ‘fatwas’ declaring Muslim-majority villages out of bound for people even from the district itself.

Entrances to Athiyuthu, Puthuvalassai, Panaikulam, Azhagankulam and Sitharkottai sport such boards, all put up by the local Jamaath Councils. “There are boards deep inside these villages which declare outsiders are not allowed,” said B Arumugam, who acted as a guide to this correspondent. Interestingly, all these villages have a strong Muslim population.

“Advertising (banners, posters and pamphlets) and honking (from vehicles) without permission is prohibited inside the Panchayath. By Order – Muslim Jamaath Thajul Islam Sangh, Pottakavayal”, is the board which welcomes the visitor to the village entrance on the Attrankarai Road, hardly 10 kilometre from Ramanathapuram town. “For the last 20 years, only Muslim candidates had been elected from this constituency. Only Muslims could be elected from this Assembly constituency,” said N Suriyaprakash, a civil engineer-turned-politician.

Ramanathapuram is represented in the Tamil Nadu Assembly by MH Jawahirullah of the Muslaim Munnetra Kazhagam (MMK), an Islamic outfit. The MMK was an ally of the AIADMK in the 2011 Assembly election and switched over to the DMK camp during the July 2012 Rajya Sabha election. “Both the Dravida parties are responsible for this sad state of affairs,” said Kuppuramu, a lawyer. He said the DMK, the Congress and the AIADMK, in order to appease the minorities look the other way when Islamic fundamentalists unleash a reign of terror.

Kuppuramu took this reporter to Pamban, a village near Rameswaram island, the birth place of Pamban Swami, a great Saivite saint. The Panchayath road has a board put by the Islamic extremists banning outsiders from the road: “Not a public thoroughfare. Ladies move about in this place,” says the board.

Pamban Swamy (1848-1929), who preached love, compassion, kindness and equality, would be turning in his grave if he comes to know what his successors have done in his place of birth. The Hindu community is a scared lot because of the ever growing Islamic extremism in the district. “During the DMK regime in 2008, some Muslim youths hoisted the national flag with chappals at Vethalai village. The case was hushed up by Hassan Ali, the then MLA of the Congress,” said Kuppuramu. He said there was another instance of tricolour with chappals being hoisted in Puthumadom village which too was hushed up Hassan Ali.

Efforts to contact the district collector and superintendent of police were futile. Though e-mails were sent to both the officials, there were no replies. “The collector is busy in meeting senior officials. We are yet to check the mail,” Dharman, his personal secretary told The Pioneer on being asked about the email.

R Nataraj, former director general of police, Tamil Nadu, said it was not proper to put up such boards. “I don’t think even the government has the power to put up such boards. But we have to find out why they have put up boards like this,” said Nataraj. BR Haran, a political commentator, and Gowthaman, director of  Vedic Science Research Centre, Chennai, who accompanied this reporter to the spots, were told by villagers of Azhagankulam that they have no other way but to fall in line. “We can never survive here without their cooperation. We are all businessmen and why should we bother about such boards?” asked Nithyanandam, a building contractor at Azhagankulam.

The villagers are still in a state of shock as some Muslim youth slaughtered a cow in front of the Muneeswarankoil Temple. “The Jamaath Council president and secretary told us that they were helpless as the youth would not listen to them,” said Senthilvel, a foreign exchange dealer in the village. Suba Nagarajan, a BJP leader in Ramanathapuram, said the Muslims in the district are on a warpath with the Hindus since 1981. “Religious conversion and smuggling are rampant in the district. Panna Ismail and Bilal Mohammed, who murdered Hindu leader Vellaiyappan in July 2013 at Vellore had come to Keezhakarai after the murder. The police should probe the details of their visit to Keezhakarai,” he said.

According to Kuppuramu, nearly 50 per cent of the business establishments in Ramanathapuram are owned by members of the Musilm community. “A Hindu can launch his business only if he gets approval from the Muslim community. This is an unwritten rule in the district,” said Kuppuramu. He said his efforts to meet the superintendent of police ended in futile as the officer was busy most of the time.

The local population is of the view that Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is the only person who could solve this fundamentalism tangle. “She made the police track down the killers of Hindu leaders by constituting the Special Investigation Division. The same SID may be able to resolve this issue,” said Shiva Thavasimani, Hindu Munnani leader.

  • Islam A Religion Of Peace The Quran

People often say that Islam is a Religion of peace and it is the overzealous who bring disrepute to the otherwise a peaceful Religion.

Let us see what the Quran Says on this.

    Islam promotes violence.
    The Quran On Infidels.

    The Quran:
Quran (2:191-193) – “And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]… but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful.   And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah.”  Thehistorical context of this passage is not defensive warfare, since Muhammad and his Muslims had just relocated to Medina and were not under attack by their Meccan adversaries.  In fact, the verses urge offensive warfare, in that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of their own city (which they later did).  The use of the word “persecution” by some Muslim translators is thus disingenuous (the actual Muslim words for persecution – “idtihad” – and oppression – a variation of “z-l-m” – do not appear in the verse).  The actual Arabic comes from “fitna” which can mean disbelief, or the disorder that results from unbelief or temptation.  Taken as a whole, the context makes clear that violence is being authorized until “religion is for Allah” – ie. unbelievers desist in their unbelief.

Quran (2:244) – “Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things.”

Quran (2:216) – Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.”  Not only does this verse establish that violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under attack at the time.  From the Hadith, we know that this verse was narrated at a time that Muhammad was actually trying to motivate his people intoraiding merchant caravans for loot.

Quran (3:56) – “As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.”

Quran (3:151) – “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority”.  This speaks directly of polytheists, yet it also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly believed to be ‘joining companions to Allah’).

Quran (4:74) – “Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.”  The martyrs of Islam are unlike the early Christians, led meekly to the slaughter.  These Muslims are killed in battle, as they attempt to inflict death and destruction for the cause of Allah.  Here is the theological basis for today’s suicide bombers.

Quran (4:76) – “Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…”

Quran (4:89) – “They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.”

Quran (4:95) – “Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-”  This passage criticizes “peaceful” Muslims who do not join in the violence, letting them know that they are less worthy in Allah’s eyes.  It also demolishes the modern myth that “Jihad” doesn’t mean holy war in the Quran, but rather a spiritual struggle.  Not only is the Arabic word used in this passage, but it is clearly not referring to anything spiritual, since the physically disabled are given exemption.  (The Hadith reveals the context of the passage to be in response to a blind man’s protest that he is unable to engage in Jihad and this is reflected in other translations of the verse).

Quran (4:104) – “And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain…”  Is pursuing an injured and retreating enemy really an act of self-defense?

Quran (5:33) – “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement”

Quran (8:12) – “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”  No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle.

Quran (8:15) – “O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them. (16)Whoso on that day turneth his back to them, unless maneuvering for battle or intent to join a company, he truly hath incurred wrath from Allah, and his habitation will be hell, a hapless journey’s end.”..

Allah is an enemy to unbelievers. – Sura 2:98

On unbelievers is the curse of Allah. – Sura 2:161

Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. – 2:191

Fight against them until idolatry is no more and Allah’s religion reigns supreme. (different translation: ) Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is God’s entirely. – Sura 2:193 and 8:39

Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it. – 2:216
(different translation: ) Prescribed for you is fighting, though it is hateful to you.

    ….. martyrs…. Enter heaven – Surah 3:140-43

If you should die or be killed in the cause of Allah, His mercy and forgiveness would surely be better than all they riches they amass. If you should die or be killed, before Him you shall all be gathered. – 3:157-8

You must not think that those who were slain in the cause of Allah are dead. They are alive, and well-provided for by their Lord. – Surah 3:169-71

Let those fight in the cause of God who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fights in the cause of God, whether he is slain or victorious, soon we shall give him a great reward. – Surah 4:74

Those who believe fight in the cause of God, and those who reject faith fight in the cause of evil. – 4:76

But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever you find them. – 4:89

Therefore, we stirred among them enmity and hatred, which shall endure till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will declare to them all that they have done. – 5:14

O believers, take not Jews and Christians as friends; they are friends of each other. Those of you who make them his friends is one of them. God does not guide an unjust people. – 5:54

Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah’s religion reigns supreme – 8:39

O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there are 20 steadfast men among you, they shall vanquish 200; and if there are a hundred, they shall rout a thousand unbelievers, for they are devoid of understanding. – 8:65

It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he has made slaughter in the land. – 8:67

Allah will humble the unbelievers. Allah and His apostle are free from obligations to idol-worshipers. Proclaim a woeful punishment to the unbelievers. – 9:2-3

When the sacred months are over, slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. – 9:5

Believers! Know that idolators are unclean. – 9:28″

  • Quiet Genocide Of Hindus In Bangladesh

“Hanging of Islamist leader Abdul Quader Mollah is a disgrace, and Bangladeshi authorities must now ensure that people are protected against reprisal attacks, said Amnesty International.

“The execution of Abdul Quader Mollah should never have happened. The death penalty is a human rights violation and should not be used to punish other alleged human rights violations,” said Abbas Faiz, Amnesty International’s Bangladesh Researcher.’

says Amnesty International, speaking of the killing of a War Criminal .

    Scroll down for video.

The Killing of Hindus in Bangladesh.
    Hindus Massacred in Bangladesh.

Hindus are being slaughtered systematically in Bangladesh for quite some time now and the present situation has warranted the Amnesty to say,

as most of the Prosecution witnesses in the present case were  Hindus,“The country is on a razor’s edge at the moment with pre-election tensions running high and almost non-stop street protests. Mollah’s execution could trigger more violence, with the Hindu community bearing the brunt.”

    Violence against the Hindus unleashed.

After the verdict, the Jamaat-e-Islami took to the streets in protest against the verdict. They attacked the establishment including the police, fire brigade, disrupted the traffic and set vehicles on fire. They attacked specially the Hindu minorities, destroyed their houses and businesses, vandalized their temples and set them on fire. According to community leaders, more than 50 Hindu temples and 1,500 Hindu homes were destroyed in 20 districts.[12]

    Chittagong Division

The Jihadi Groups who are responsible for these attacks are groups that are funded by Langley and includes the more notorious Hefazate Islam, Jamaati Islami and BNP. BNP and Jamaati Islami has been funding these extremist groups. This was portrayed in an article by a Pakistani Journalist in the International Herald Tribune.[13] In Noakhali District several Hindu homes and temples came under the attack of the Islamists.[14][15][16][17][18] On the morning of 28 February, the activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir began to gather near Rajganj Bazar in Begumganj Upazila.[19][20] At around 2 p.m., immediately after the verdict, the activists armed with sticks, started a procession in protest against the verdict. The procession vandalized the Kali temple at Rajganj Bazar and the temple near Bainnabari. Then they attacked the Hindus in nearby Tongipar and Aladinagar villages. They vandalized eight Hindu households and looted all the valuables including money and jewellery.[19] The temple of Bhuiyan house in Tongipar village was vandalized. Six people were injured in the attacks.[21] The violence continued in phases till the evening. Around 6-30 p.m. Rapid Action Battalion was deployed to bring the situation under control.[19] On 23 March, Islamic extremists vandalized and looted a temple at Companiganj Upazila On 26 March, miscreants set fire in a Hindu house at Zirtali union belonging to Begamganj Upazila.[22](wiki)

  • Islam On Jihad.Details With Source.

There has been some statement from Islamic Scholars that Islam does not support Jihad.

But the facts seem to be different.

    Islamic Jihad.
    Jihad, Image source. http://islamizationwatch.blogspot.in/2009/10/tears-of-jihad-270-million-slaughtered.html

    Some information.

Sura 73:10,11 (be patient and bear with those who deny the truth)

“And have patience with what they say, and leave them with noble (dignity). And leave me (alone to deal with) those in possession of the good things of life, who (yet) deny the truth, [YA: “Men who enjoy the good things of life have special cause for gratitude to God, Who bestowed them. When they are in the ranks of God’s enemies, none but God can adequately deal with them..”] and bear with them for a little while.”

Sura 52:45,47,48 (leave them alone and wait in patience for the Lord to punish them)

“So leave them alone until they encounter that day of theirs, wherein they shall (perforce) swoon (with terror) … And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this…Now await in patience the command of thy Lord, for verily thou art in Our eyes.” [YA: “The man of God must strive his utmost to proclaim the message of God. As for results, it is not for him to command them. He must wait patiently in the knowledge that he is not forgotten by God, but is constantly under God’s eyes – under His living care and protection…”]

Sura 109:1,2,6 (Tell unbelievers, “You have your religion and I have mine.”)

“Say, O ye that reject faith! I worship not that which ye worship… To you be your way, and to me mine.”

Sura 76:8,9 (be kind even to those taken prisoner)

“And they feed, for the love of God, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive, (saying) ‘We feed you for the sake of God alone. No reward do we desire from you, nor thanks.’” [YA: “…it refers to the old state of things when captives of war had to earn their own food, or their own redemption; even ordinary prisoners in join for criminal offences often starved unless food was provided for them by private friends or from their own earnings.”]

Sura 20:129,130 (also 38:15-17) (be patient with evil things said by evil people)

“Had it not been for a word that went forth before from thy Lord, (their punishment) must necessarily have come, but there is a term appointed (for respite). Therefore be patient with what they say…”[YA: “All good men must be patient with what seems to them evil around them.”]

Sura 20:134,135 (be patient and let the unbelievers see who is right)

“And if We had inflicted on them a penalty before this, they would have said, ‘Our Lord! If only Thou hadst sent us an apostle, we should certainly have followed thy signs before we were humbled and put to shame.’ Say: ‘Each one (of us) is waiting. Wait ye, therefore, and soon shall ye know who it is that is on the straight and even way, and who it is that has received guidance.’” [YA: “The man of God can only say: ‘Let us wait the issue. My faith tells me that God’s truth must prevail.’”]

Sura 16:93 (God leaves alone those whom He allows to stray from the truth)

“If God so willed, He could make you all one people, but He leaves straying whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases, but ye shall certainly be called to account for all your actions.” [YA: “God’s will and plan, in allowing limited free-will to man, is, not to force man’s will, but to give all guidance, and leave alone those who reject that guidance, in case they should repent and come back into grace. But in all cases, in so far as we are given the choice, we shall be called to account for all our actions…”]

Sura 19:83,84 (Don’t be in a hurry to fight. God will allow evil people to destroy themselves.)

“Seest thou not that we have set the evil ones on against the unbelievers to incite them with fury? So make no haste against them, for we but count out to them a (limited) number (of days).” [YA: “Under the laws instituted by God, when evil reaches a certain stage of rebellion and defiance, it is left to gather momentum and to rush with fury to its own destruction. It is given a certain amount of respite, as a last chance, but failing repentance, its days are numbered. The godly therefore should not worry themselves over the apparent worldly success of evil, but should get on with their own duties in a spirit of trust in God.”]

Sura 43:88,89 (just turn away from those who reject the truth, and say “Peace” to them)

“(God has knowledge) of the (Prophet’s) cry, ‘O my Lord! Truly these are a people who will not believe!’ But turn away from them, and say, ‘Peace!’ But soon shall they know!” [YA: “The Prophet…is here told to leave them alone for a time, for the truth must soon prevail.”]

Sura 67:26 (Mohammad is only a warner; not an enforcer)

“Say ‘…I am (sent) only to warn plainly in public.’” [YA: “The Prophet’s duty is to proclaim that fact openly and clearly. It is not for him to punish or to hasten the punishment of evil.”] Sura 22:49 “Say, ‘O men! I am (sent) to you only to give a clear warning.’”

Sura 23:54 (Leave them in their ignorance)

“But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time.”

Sura 23:96 (It is best not to retaliate evil for evil)

Repel evil with that which is best.” [YA: “It is not for you to punish. Your best course is not to do evil in your turn, but to do what will best repel the evil. Two evils do not make a good.”] “We are well acquainted with the things they say. And say, ‘O my Lord! I seek refuge with thee from the suggestions of the evil ones. And I seek refuge with thee of my Lord, lest they should come near me.’”

Sura 25:52 (struggle with all your might against unbelievers with God’s word – the “Greater Jihad”)

“Therefore listen not to the unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with the (Quran).” [YA: “… the man of God pays no heed to carping critics who reject faith. He wages the biggest jihad of all, with the weapon of God’s revelation.”] [The Arabic is “Jihad-e-Kabir” (greater Jihad). Muslims therefore believe that physical war is “Jihad-e-Saghir” (lesser Jihad), although that term is not specifically mentioned in the Quran (see 4:74-76).]

Sura 17:54 (Mohammad was not sent to dispose of men’s affairs.)

“…We have not sent thee to be a disposer of their affairs for them.” [YA:”Even men of God are not sent to arrange or dispose of men’s affairs, but only to teach God’s message.”]

Sura 16:125,126 (invite to the way of God only with gracious preaching and arguments)

“Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious… And if ye do catch them out, catch them out no worse than they catch you out. But if ye show patience, that is indeed the best (course) for those who are patient.” [YA: “In the context this passage refers to controversies and discussions, but the words are wide enough to cover all human struggles, disputes, and fights. In strictest equity you are not entitled to give a worse blow than is given to you. But those who have reached a higher spiritual standard do not even do that. They restrain themselves, and are patient. Lest you should think that such patience only gives an advantage to the adversary, you are told that the contrary is the case. The advantage is with the patient, the self-possessed, those who do not lose their temper or forget their own principles of conduct.”]

Sura 29:46 (don’t argue with Jews and Christians, but do something better, i.e., emphasize our oneness)

“And dispute ye not with the People of the Book [a term used for Jews and Christians], except with means better (than mere disputation) … But say, ‘We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you. Our God and your God is One, and it is to Him we bow (in Islam).’” [YA: “In order to achieve our purpose as true standard bearers for God, we shall have to find the common grounds of belief, as stated in the latter part of this verse …”]

Sura 29:69 (God will guide those who struggle in His way.)

“And those who strive in our (cause), we will certainly guide them to our paths: For verily God is with those who do right.” [YA: “All that man can do is to strive in God’s cause. As soon as he strives with might and main, with constancy and determination, the light and mercy of God come to meet him… The way of God (sirat-ul-mustaqim) is a straight way. But men have strayed from it in all directions. And there are numerous paths by which they can get back to the right way… All these paths become open to them if once they give their hearts in keeping to God and work in right endeavour (Jihad) with all their mind and soul and resources. Thus will they get out of the spider’s web of this frail world and attain to eternal bliss in the fulfillment of their true destiny.”]
