    I saw a message attributed to Julia Gillard,PM of Australia asking Muslims to either adapt or Leave.

     

    I crosschecked the information and found that this is a hoax.

    She sure isn’t backing down on her hard line stance and one has to appreciate her belief in the rights of her native countrymen.

    A breath of fresh air to see someone lead. Australian Prime Minister does it again!!

    The whole world needs a leader like this!

    Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

    Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies
    monitoring the nation’s mosques. Quote:
    ‘IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT… Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.’

    ‘This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.’

    ‘We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese,

    Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!’

    ‘Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.’

    ‘We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.’

    Analysis.

    This message, which circulates via email and social media, claims that Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard recently told Muslims living in Australia that they should leave the country if they wished to live under Islamic Sharia law. According to the message, the Gillard government is targeting radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks and supports the monitoring of Mosques by spy agencies. The message, couched as a news report, goes on to quote a diatribe about immigration supposedly delivered by Gillard.

    However, Julia Gillard did not make the comments attributed to her. In fact, the message is nothing more than a revamped version of much earlier messages that involved previous Australian Prime Ministers. The first version of the message claimed that it was Prime Minister John Howard who made the remarks. A later version attributed the comments to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. While the original Howard version did contain some elements of truth, both the Rudd and Gillard versions have no basis in fact.

  • Sidha Lakshmi Stotra By Shiva Wealth Occult Powers

    Few slokas are reported to be composed by Shiva.

    Meditate on the young lass who is Brahmi, Vaishnavi,

    And who holds a shining globe and is the greatest.

    Omkaram Lakshmi roopam thu Vishnum hrudayamavyayam,

    She who tells “Om”, who has the form of Lakshmi,

    She who is “Kleem”, she who is the daughter of nectar,
    She who provides safety, she who always grants great happiness,

    She who wears garlands and she who kills her enemies.

    Theja prakasineem devim varadam shubha karineem,
Brahmeem cha vaishnaveem roudhreem kalika roopa shobhineem., 3

    She who gives out light, the goddess who fulfills desires,
    She who does good things, She who is Brahmee,
    She who is Vaishnavee, She who is angry,
    And she who shines in the form of Kali.

    Aakare Lakshmi roopam thu uukareshubhakarineem,
Makara purusho vyaktho devi pranavamuchyathe., 4

    In the letter “Aa”, there is the form of Lakshmi,
    In the letter “Uu”, is she who does all that is good,
    And in the letter “ma”, is her clear form of Purusha,
    And thus the goddess is of the form of the letter “Om”.

    Sooryakoti pratheekasam Chandra koti sama prabham,
Thanmadhye nikaram sookshmam brahma roopam vyavasthitham., 5

    She who is perambulated by crores of Suns,
    She who has the shine of crores of moons,
    In the middle of it in the very micro form,
    She lives in the form of Brahmam.

    Omkaaram paramananda sadaiva sukha sundarem,
Sidhaa Lakshmi Moksha Lakshmi aadhi Lakshmi namosthuthe., 6

    She who is “Om” who is ecstasic happiness,
    Who is always pretty and is the form of pleasure,
    I salute the divine Lakshmi, the Lakshmi of salvation,
    And also the primeval Lakshmi of yore.

    Sarva mangala mangalye shive sarvartha sadhake,
Saranye triambike gauri narayani namosthuthe., 7

    Hey the power behind Shiva,
    Who makes all good things happen,
    Who grants all boons,
    I bow before you,
    She who is the creator, organizer and destroyer,
    My salutations to you Narayani.

    Prathamam trayambike gauri dwitheeyam vaishnavee thadha,
Tritheeyam yamala proktha chaturtham sundari thadha., 8

    First the trinity of goddesses, second Vaisnavi,
    Third she who is called the twin goddess,
    And fourth the very pretty goddess.

    Panchamam Vishnu shakthischa sashtam kathyayanee thadha,
Vaarahi sapthamam chaiva hyashtamam hari vallabha., 9

    Fifth the power in Vishnu,
    Sixth the daughter of Kathyayana,
    Seventh the power of the boar,
    Eighth is the consort of Hari.

    Navamam gadginee proktha dasamam chaiva devika,
Yekadasm sidhalakshmeem dwadasam hamsa vahineem., 10

    Ninth is she who holds the sword,
    Tenth is she who is the goddess,
    Eleventh, she is Sidha Lakshmi,
    And twelfth she is one who rides on a swan.

    Yethath stotra varam devya ye padanthi sada nara,
Sarva aapadbho vimuchyanthe nathra karya vicharana., 11

    That man who reads this blessed prayer addressed to Goddess,
    Would get free from all dangers and will never get worried about anything.

    Yekamasam dwimasam cha trimasam masa chathushtayam,
Panchamasam cha shanmasam trikalam ya sada padeth., 12

    Either one month or two months or three months or four months,
    Or five months or six months if this is read at dawn, noon and dusk,

    Brahmana klesitho dukhee daridrya maya peeditha,
Janmanthara sahasraodhai muchyatha sarva kilbishai., 13

    The Brahmin who is suffering sad and in the clutches of poverty,
    Even for thousands of birth will get rid of all of them.

    Daridhro labhathe lakshmeem aaputhra puthravan bhaveth., 14

    The poor one would get wealth, the childless one would get child

    Eswarena krutham stotram praninam hitha karakam,
Sthuvanthu brahmana nithyam daridryam na cha badathe,
Sarva papa hara Lakshmi sarva sidhi pradhayinee., 15

    This prayer written by Lord Shiva for,
    The sake of the good of all the beings,
    If recited in praise daily by Brahmanas,
    Poverty would not stick to him,
    And the goddess Lakshmi,
    Who can grant all occult powers,
    Would destroy all his sins.

    Ithi sri Brahma purane Sri Sidha Lakshmi stotram.

    Thus ends the prayer to Sidha Lakshmi from Brahma puranam.

  • Brahmins Organized Indian Marriage System Tholkappiyar

    I have often wondered who organized the Marriage System (Monogamy) in India.

     

    Though marriage is considered to be sacred in Hinduism and has elaborate Rituals to solemnize and conduct marriages, I have not been able to find any definite information on who organized this system of marriage.

    I could not find the origin of marriage details from the Puranas, Vedas or Ithihasas.

     

    All these texts glorify and explain the rituals connected with Marriage.

     

    The first written record  on who organized marriage as a System is found in the ancient Tamil Grammar Book, Tholkappiyam, written by Tholkappiar (between 3rd century BCE and the 3rd century CE), a disciple of Sage Agasthya.

     

    He states that the society was being ruined by indiscriminate copulation ,involving Lies, frauds.

     

    Hence  Brahmins organized the system of marriage.

     

    “மேலோர் மூவர்க்கும் புணர்த்த கரணம்
    கீழோர்க்காகிய காலமும் உண்டே (1090)
    பொய்யும் வழுவும் தோன்றிய பின்னர்
    ஐயர் யாத்தனர் கரணம் என்ப (1091) Tholkappiyam.

     

    Here there is a rider.

     

    Marriage as a system which was in existence for the three Varnas(மேலோர் மூவர்க்கும்) is now being set for the Fourth Varna by the Brahmins.

  • Dasa Maha Vidya Stuthi For Grand Children Wisdom

    I have written a couple of blogs on Dasa Maha Vidya, as a part of Vidya Upasna.

     

    I provide the Dasa Maha Vidya Stuthi below fo the benefit of Sri Vidya Upasakas.

     

    Mahakali
    (The goddess with ten heads , black as night and has a horrific and fearful appearance. She is represented to be standing on Lord Shiva who is lying down.She is considered to represent all the ten Maha Vidhyas. While she blesses her devotees with all their wants, worship of her is believed to remove Sani dosha)

    1.Maha devi maha kala Priya sakhi ,
    Gauri Kaushikhi nama Vikhyate ,
    Maha Kali Namosthuthe

    Salutations to Maha Kali,
    Who is the great goddess, the great companion of Lord Shiva,
    Who is well known as Gauri and Kaushiki.

    Tara Devi

    (She is blue in colour , wears a necklace of corpses . She has only one head stand on Lord Shiva . She is supposed to shower motherly instinct and is the Goddess of knowledge . She is suppose to give wisdom, profit in business and is suppose to be effective against Guru Dosha)

    2.Munda mala vibhooshithe neela rupinee ,
    Yeka jata neela Saraswathi nama Vikhyathe,
    Tara devi namosthuthe.

    Salutations to Goddess Tara ,
    Who wears the necklaces of dead bodies,
    Who is blue in colour ,
    Who is well known as Yeka Jata and Neela Saraswathi.

    Chinna mastha
    ( The very ferocious form of the goddess. She is red in colour , with severed head , drinks blood and stands on a couple in copulation. She is supposed to grant courage to fight with enemies. Magicians also worship her to cause harm to someone.)

    3.Rudhira pana priye , khaditha Siro rupini,
    Rakthakesi , chinnabala nama vikhyathe ,
    Chinnamastha namosthuthe

    Salutations to Goddess Chinnamastha ,
    Who likes to drink blood , who appears without head,
    Who is well known as Rakthakesi and Chinna bala.

    Shodasi or Laitha Maha Tripura Sundari

    She is of golden colour and is normally depicted together with Lord Shiva. Sitting on a throne or seat with four legs. She is the supreme goddess and removes the dosha due to Budha.

    4.Shodasa Kala paripoorne AAdhya Shakthi roopini ,
    Sri Vidhya Pancha vakthra nama Vikhyathe ,
    Shodasi namosthuthe

    Salutations to the Goddess Shodasi ,
    Who has completed sixteen years of age ,
    Who has the l,ook of the primeval power ,
    Who is well known as Srividhya and Panchavakthra

    Bhuvaneswari

    She is the goddess of the universe. She is normally depicted with four hands, with goad, rope and the other two showing giving boons and another protection. She removes Chandra Dosha.

    5,Pasankusa dari durgam asura samharini,
    Shatakshi sakambari nama Vikhyathe ,
    BHuvaneswari namosthuthe.

    Salutations to Goddess BHuvaneswari,
    Who holds the rope and the goad ,
    Who kills very ferocious asuras ,
    Who is well known as Shatakshi and Sakambari

    Bhairavi

    She is mother to the good people terror to bad ones. She is seen holding book, rosary, and making fear-dispelling and boon-conferring gestures. She is also known as Baala or Tripurabhairavi.

    6.Arunambara dari , pranava roopini ,
    Yogeeswari , Uma nama vikhyathe ,
    Tripura BHairavi Namosthuthe

    Salutations to Goddess Tripura BHairavi ,
    Who wears cloths of the red purple colour,
    Who has the form of letter “Om”,
    Who is well known as Yogeswari and Uma

    Dhoomavathi

    Dhumavati represents the fearsome aspect of Devi, the Hindu Divine Mother. She is of smoky colour , an old, ugly widow (I,e Withoutr Shiva) and is associated with things considered inauspicious and unattractive in Hinduism, such as the crow and the Chaturmas period. The goddess is often depicted on a horseless chariot or riding a crow, usually in a cremation ground.She is supposed to remove Rahu Dosha.

    7.Dushta abichara dwamsini , kaka dwaja Radha roode,
    Suthara thamasi nama Vikhyathe ,
    Dhoomavathi namosthuthe

    Salutations to Goddess Dhoomavathi ,
    Who destroys the attack of black magic ,
    Who rides on a chariot with flag of crow ,
    Who is well known as Suthara and Thamsi

    Bagalamukhi
    Bagalamukhi has a golden complexion and her dress is yellow. She sits in a golden throne in the midst of an ocean of nectar full of yellow lotuses. A crescent moon adorns her head. She is believed to have the power to remove Kuja Dosha,

    8.Pitambara dari shathru bhaya nivarini,
    Jwalamuki Vaishhnavi nama Vikhyathe ,
    Bagala Mukhi namosthuthe

    Salutations to Goddess BHagalamuki ,
    Who wears yellow silk cloths ,
    Who removes fear as well as enemies ,
    Who is well known as Jwalamukhi and Vaishnavi

    Matangi
    She is considered as the Tantric form of Sarasvati, the goddess of music and learning. Like Sarasvati, Matangi governs speech, music, knowledge and the arts. Her worship is prescribed to acquire supernatural powers, especially gaining control over enemies, attracting people to oneself, acquiring mastery over the arts and gaining supreme knowledge.. Those with family problems worship her to get peace .

    9.Ardha chandra dhari , Kadamba vana vasini,
    Vaagdevi Saraswathi nama Vikhyathe ,
    Matangi namosthuthe.

    Salutations to goddess Matangi,
    Who wears the crescent and lives in a garden of Kadamba trees,
    Who is well known as Vaagdevi and Saraswathi

    Kamalathmika

    She is of golden complexion, sits on a lotus flower and is bathed by four elephants, She removes the Shukra dosha.

    10.Suvarna kanthi samanvithe , maha Vishnu sahacharini ,
    BHargavi Mahalakshmi nama vikhyathe ,
    Kamala Namosthuthe

    Salutations to Goddess Kamala,
    Who has a golden aura and is companion of Maha Vishnu ,
    Who is well known as Bharagavi and Mahalakshmi

    Phala Sruthi
    Dasa maha vidhya stotram sarva shathru roga nivaranam,
    SArva sampath karam, puthra pouthradhi vardhanam.

    Effect of chanting

    This prayer addressed to the ten great Vidhyas ,
    Destroys all diseases and all enemies ,
    Gives all types of wealth and leads to increase of sons and grand sons.

  • How To Clean Polluted Vegetables Waxed Fruits

    The habit of buying vegetables from the Vendors, who come out on the streets with the produce is now a thing of the past.

     

    I recall, some 50 years back, of cowherd woman coming on the streets around 6 am with an earthen pot containing  Curds on her head, calling out Curds.

     

    The curds would be rock solid and tasty.

    Then followed the vegetable vendor with her basket filled up with garden fresh vegetables.

     

    Then around 9 am we had a push cat rolling along with fresh fruits.

     

    The rates, though quite cheap were negotiated upon.

     

    I used to keep these vendors as a clock , especially the on calling out Curds ti wake me up for studying for the examinations.

     

    These seem to be things of the past, possibly with the exceptions here and there in some villages.

     

    Now one buys these things in an ir Conditioned show room , in packs.

     

    The vegetables look glossy and inviting, the Curds in three-layered packs.

     

    Are they tasty?

     

    No.

     

    Are the fresh and healthy?

     

    Again, No.

     

    Natural vegetables are not very bright in color and would have dust settled on them, with some of them having a portion bit by Squirrels in the case of fruits and by insects in the case of vegetables.

     

    Squirrel bitten fruits are very tasty.

     

    Farmers inform me the vegetables that have the markings of insects having bitten the vegetables are likely to be healthy and tasty.

     

    Now what we have wax quoted Apples, oil polished vegetables that are inviting.

     

    Not to speak of the pesticides used to grow them.

     

    All these are highly toxic and can harm you, landing you with infections to Kidney problems.

     

    How to clean the vegetables and fruits we buy thus?

     

    1.Wash the vegetables and fruits with 2 7 Salt Water solution.This removes residues of pesticide.

    2.To remove tough remains, use hot water, or steam.

    3.Peel the vegetables and fruits.

    4.Use Pressure cooking.

    5.Do not use used oils for cooking.

    Never buy a visually appealing vegetable or fruit.

    These simple steps shall ensure that you get pollutant free vegetables/Fruits.
