Here is the Prayer by Lord Shiva on Vishnu.
The Stuthi is called Kapaalikrit Vishnu Stuthi.
At one instance, Shiva removed the head of Lord Brahma and he had the curse of Barhmahathi.

Shiva declares Rama Nama, the name of Lord Rama is the greatest Mantra, the Mantra that is sweetest to hear, b chanting the name of Rama one gets the benefit of chanting the 1000 names of Vishnu.

Sahasrakoti thastulyam Sree Rama Nama Varaanane'-Vishnu Sahasranama.
Lord Krishna too worshiped Shiva and he was the one who advised Arjuna to pray Lord Shiva for Pasupathaastra in the Mahabharata.
