RBI directive to compulsorily authenticate Aadhar Card and link various benefits to Aadhar is violative of directions given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India which is hearing a PIL against Aadhar. This card has no legal or constitutional sanction. On the contrary there are security concerns about this card because they have assigned the task of data collection to private agencies who have no security mechanism to safeguard the data. Moreover sharing personal biometric details with such private agencies is susceptible to misuse.

Your concerns are well founded. As things stand Aadhaar , as of now, has no legal sanctity.
I expect this to be conferred with legal stamp.
Despite all the valid fears about privacy, Aadhhar has come to say.
As with Internet, Data collection is something we can not do much about it being shared unless who collect are morally upright, which I doubt.
