That always derails the conversation when you ask ‘what is perception’ and get into epistemology. Truth is truth. It cannot hurt you for it is what is. If it hurts you it is because you were not accepting truth in the first place. It is not about perception, truth is true regardless of perception. If it is only true from one perception then it is not true. Truth is what is true for all people, all places, at all times. Gravity is true. Evolution is true… and so on.
