Yuvraj Singh lifted the suspense he had created last month, confirming team mate Sachin Tendulkar was the “special person” he owes his red hot World Cup form to.
The 29-year-old southpaw kept the entire nation guessing after the quarter-final win against Australia, saying he was playing for a “special person” who always stood by him.
“Very sorry to disappoint you, guys. It was not for my girlfriend or my fiancee but for Sachin Tendulkar,” he told reporters on Saturday, keeping his promise to reveal the identity of the person after the team reached the final.
