  • Parashu Rama Guru Of Kalki Kalki Family

    Many of us ware that Kalki will be Avatar of Lord Vishnu in Kali Yuga.

     

    This is yet to manifest.

    Kaliyuga lasts for 4,32,000 years.

     

    Kali means ‘strife, Discord,quarrel” or “contention’ .

     

    We are in the 5115 Year of KaliYuga.

     

    Of the four Yugas, in the Satya Yuga Dharama has  Four Legs, Three in the Treta Yuga, Two in Dwapara and one in Kali.

     

    The Four legs of Kali allegorical.

     

    They represent austerity, cleanliness, mercy and truthfulness.

     

    When the Kali Purusha, Kali stands on leg, that is Truthfulness, Kali Yuga shall exist.

     

    When even that fails, Kalki Avatar will emerge.

     

    After setting off to wage war against the evils of the world with his armies, Emperor Parikshit, the grandson of Arjuna, came across a Sudra dressed as a king who was beating a cow and an ox with a club. Parikshit immediately lead his chariot over to the scene and angrily berated the sudra for abusing the sacred cow and her mate. However, this was no ordinary sudra and these were no ordinary bovine, for the sudra was Kali and the cow and ox were embodiments of the earth goddess and Dharma. The Emperor noticed the ox was standing on one of his legs because the other three had been broken by Kali. Dharma explained his four legs represented “austerity, cleanliness, mercy and truthfulness”, but he had only the leg of “truth” to stand on since the other three had been broken by kali over the preceding yugas. Kali was intent on breaking all the legs that supported the reign of dharma so he could effect the expansion of his own dark reign on earth. The earth goddess cried for she had once been plentiful, but when Krishna died and ascended to heaven, she was forsaken and all of the prosperity left from the world. She feared evil kings like Kali would continue to lay waste to the earth.

    When Parikshit raised his sword to kill Kali, the sudra stripped himself of his royal garments and prostrated himself at the emperor’s feet. The emperor knew Kali tainted the world with his evil and so had no place in it and raised his sword once more. But Kali interceded again and begged the emperor to spare his life and allow him a place to live within his empire. Parikshit decided that Kali would live in “gambling houses, in taverns, in women of unchaste lives, in slaughtering places and in gold”. And as long as Parikshit ruled India, Kali stayed within the confines of these five places. This act allowed Dharma to regain his legs and the earth to be relieved of much burden. However, Parikshit was later cursed to die by snake bite after hunting in the forest and throwing a dead snake on an unresponsive sage practicing austerities. Upon the emperor’s death, “Kali made his way to other places like wild fire and established his power throughout the length and breadth of the whole world.”

    In another version of the tale, Kali enters into the Emperor’s crown when Parikshit gives him permission to reside wherever there is gold. Upon returning home after offending the sage, Parikshit says to himself, “Kali-yug’s abode is in gold; this was on my head; hence I had so evil a thought that, having taken a dead snake cast it on the sage’s neck. Therefore, I now understand that Kali-yug has taken his revenge on me. How shall I escape this grievous sin?””

    Kali is the great-great-grandson of Lord Brahma. He is the son of Krodha (Anger) and his sister-turned-wife Himsa (Violence). He is the grandson of Dambha (Vanity) and his sister-turned-wife, Maya (Illusion). He is the great-grandson of Adharma (Impropriety) and his wife, Mithya (Falsehood). Adharma was originally created from Lord Brahma’s back as a Maleen Pataka (a very dark and deadly sinful object).

    B. K. Chaturvedi, a modern translator of the Kalki Purana, states in a foot note that the growth of this dark sinful object into Adharma seems to, “convey the growth of Kali Yugaand its obnoxious offshoots

     

    Parashurama, an Avatar of Lord Vishnu is a Chiranjivi, and is said to still be doing penance today in Mahendragiri. The Kalki Purana writes that he will reemerge at the end of Kali Yuga to be the martial and spiritual guru of Kalki, the tenth and final avatar of Vishnu. It is foretold that he will instruct Kalki to perform a difficult penance to Shiva, and receive the celestial weaponry needed to bring about end time.”

  • Ramayana In The Rig Veda

    In terms of Time Ramayana took place after the Vedas.

    However there is a view that The Ramayana was during the close of the final portions of the Vedas.

     

    Krita Yuga,also called the Satya Yuga, which preceded the Treta Yuga when Ramayana took place.

     

    It was considered to be perfect Yuga where people were Righteous to the core.

     

    People had a Life span of 100,000 years.

     

    There is no Avatar as there was no necessity.

     

    But the question remains as to who were these people in this Yuga and where does Daksha fit in.

     

    Now on to the Rig Veda and the Ramayana.

     

    It will be an internal contradiction to have Ramayana quoted in the Rig Veda as Ramayana was later to Vedas.

     

    Even if we accept the view that the Ramayana happened during the closing years of the Vedas, then what about yajur Veda which was practised in the Ramayana.

     

    This can be resolved only if all the Vedas were grasped at the same time..

     

    However there is reference  to Ramayana and Rama in the Rig Veda.

     

    There is a Rama Rahasya Upanishad in the Vedas.

    There is also a verse in the Rig Veda on the name Rama.

     

    “14 This to Duḥśīma Pṛthavāna have I sung, to Vena, Rama, to the nobles, and the King.
    They yoked five hundred, and their love of us was famed upon their way.
    15 Besides, they showed us seven-and-seventy horses here.
    Tānva at once displayed his gift, Pārthya at once displayed his gift; and straightway Māyava showed his.” XCIII Visvedevas.

    Vena is the ancestor of Rama.

    In the absence of Dasaratha reference, some dispute the name Rama as the Rama of Ramayana.

     

    There is an interesting  note found in the Bala Kanda of Ramayana.

     

    Valmiki wrote that he wrote the Ramayana to expound The Vedas.

     

    “kushiilavau tu dharmaGYau raajaputrau yashasvinau |
    bhraatarau svarasampannau dadarsha aashramavaasinau ||
    sa tu medhaavinau dR^ishhTvaa vedeShu pariniShThitau |
    vedopabR^ihmaNaarthaaya taavagraahayata prabhuh ||
    kaavyaM raamaayaNaM kR^itsnaM siitaayaashcharitaM mahat.h|
    paulastya vadhamityeva chakaara charitavrataH||

    The princes, the brothers, Kusha and Lava, were knowledgeable about Dharma and were glorious. Their voices were melodious and they lived in the hermitage of (vAlmIki). He (vAlmIki), established in good deeds, observed those two extremely intelligent (princes), skilled in the Vedas, and for the sake of expounding the Vedas, he composed and made them study the poem sampUrNa-rAmAyaNa (the entire rAmAyaNa) (containing) the great story of sItA and the slaying of rAvaNa.

    These verses from the vAlmIki-rAmAyaNa clearly show that the sage vAlmIki composed the rAmAyaNa to expound the meaning of the Vedas.

    Since rAmAyaNa is based on the Vedas, there must be mantras in the Vedas that correspond to the immortal story of rAma. It is with this objective that nIlakaNTha, the great commentator on the mahAbhArata, has presented, with his own wonderful commentary, the mantra-rAmAyaNa. The mantra-rAmAyaNa is a compilation of Riks from the R^ig Veda that narrate the story of rAma or the rAmAyaNa.”…

     

    For this reason, vAlmIki bases the twenty-four thousand verses of the rAmAyaNa on the twenty-four akshhara’s (syllables) of the gAyatrI mantra (of the Vedas).

    nIlakaNTha quotes from the agastya-saMhitA to further support the fact that the rAmAyaNa story is drawn from the Vedas:

    vedavedaye pare puMsi jAte dasharathAtmaje |
    vedaH prAchetasAdAsIt.h sAxAdrAmAyaNAtmanA |
    tasmAdrAmAyaNaM devi veda eva na saMshayaH ||…

    The essential difference between the Hindu Calendar and the Julian Calendar is that the Julian Calendar takes Time as Linear,forward Flowing, while Hinduism states that Time is Circular.

    The reason for this situation is the assumption that Time is Linear.

    West thinks Time is Linear.

    Time flows in one direction that is forward.
    What if Time is Cyclic?

    That is, it flows around and depending on where you are.

    Time moves both forwards and backwards .

    Time is a stream; so is Space. Per se they are Absolute.

    They are Relative to the observer.

    To put it in simpler words ,things exist in Space and Time at all times irrespective of your positioning and what we say to day has happened ,is right now happening at another level for an observer positioned to observe it

    .

    For them, our Universe is Past.

    Similarly for another observer, what we see as future, may be Present.

    There are Four AEONS (yugas).-In terms of Man-Years.

    I. Kali Yugam 4, 32,000 years.

    II. Dwapara Yuga 8, 64,000years. (Kali x 2)

    III. Tretha Yuga 12, 96,000 years. (Kali x 3)

    IV. Krita Yuga 17, 28,000 years. (Kali x 4)

    V. Total 43, 32,000 years

    For Devas, in the next plane of existence, one year by human calculation is one day.

    Aryabhatta was the ancient Astronomer and mathematician of India.

    He was the first astronomer of the world

    He used the as Zero Day the beginning of Maha Yuga of Hinduism.

    But as the number of years were innumerable, the beginning of Kaliyuga was taken as  the starting Day by the later Astronomers of India,(from the midnight of 17-18 February 3102 BCE (BC)

    This was called Ahargana.

    Julian Day Number was started by a French Scholar Joseph Scaliger in CE (AD) 1582.

    Julian Calendar uses  Greenwhich mean noon of 1st January, 4713 BCE (BC).

    Hinduism Calculates  Time at Ujjain Map co ordinates.

  • Vishnu’s Navel Galaxy Center Verified Collapse Of Civilizations

    Hindu Astronomy, which is intricately linked to Indian Philosophy(in Hinduism all these are intricately interwoven) calls the Center of our Universe,Galaxy)  as Vishnu Nabhi, the navel of Lord Vishnu.

    Hinduism states that the world, through Brahma, evolved from the Navel of Lord Vishnu.

    Brahma , with the blessings of Lord Vishnu created the world by producing Daksha Prajapathi , the first Man.

    Then the entire Humanity evolved.

    This is creation part elaborated.

    Now to Astronomy.

    The Sun ascends and descends from the navel of Lord Vishnu,.

    Sun takes 12, 000 years for ascension, moving towards the navel, and 12000 years  for descending, moving away from Lord Vishnu’s Navel.

    These 24,000 year of Ascending and Descending cycle approximates the 25,765 Precessional Years when the sun moves backwards in the 12 zodiacal constellations.

    1.Lord Vishnu’s Nabhi as the center of our Milky way Galaxy verified.

    “The Galactic Center cannot be observed at visible, ultraviolet, or x-ray wavelengths because interstellar dust obscures the line of sight. All scientific information about it comes from observations of gamma ray, hard X-ray, infrared, and radio wavelengths. The precise astronomical location of the Galactic Center at approximately 3 degrees Sagittarius (sidereal) was first verified in 1918 by Harlow Shapley. However its energetic connection to the earth was not realized until 1932 when Karl G. Jansky, an engineer working for Bell Telephone, was investigating the source of the static interference with overseas telephone lines. He discovered that the interference was due to radio waves being emitted from the center of the galaxy. The source of the radio waves appears to be located almost exactly at the Galactic Center, and may coincide with a super massive black hole. This black hole has the equivalent mass of 4 million suns and is the source of most of the gravitational energy in our galaxy. Thus the Galactic Center is the Sun around which our Sun rotates.
    Hinduism understood this connection between Sun and the Galaxy, and used it as a marker for the ascending and descending yuga cycles that are measured by our Earth/Sun relationship to it (ie the pole star alignments at the solstices).

    During the past decade the winter solstice occurs as the Sun rises in the mouth of the great rift or Galactic Center and will be exact in 2012. In Galactic Alignment John Major Jenkins revealed that this alignment is one of the astronomical phenomena tracked by ancient Mayan, Egyptians and Vedic traditions.

    Sanskrit word Gand means knot, or node, and anta means end, in particular the last 3 degrees of a water sign, and first three degrees of a fire sign — at the three distinct junctions of Pisces (Revati)- Aries (Aswini), Cancer (Ashlesha)- Leo (Magha), and Scorpio (Jyeshta)- Sagittarius (Mula).

    2.Collapse of Civilizations Indicated.

    As it is very complicated to follow, later Hinduism follows the Great Bear Constellation’ or the Saptha Rishi Mandala or constellation .

    The findings are the same. but these calculations are easy to follow.

    “According to this calendar the Great Bear stayed in one constellation for 100 years, thus adding up to 2,700 years for 27 constellations. However, 12,000 years were equally divided into four Yugas or Ages with each yuga getting 3,000 years: Satya Yuga (Golden Age), Treta Yuga (Silver Age), Dwapar Yuga (Bronze Age) and Kali Yuga (Iron Age), with the Transition or Mutation period of 300 years each.

    It has been established by several scholars through the historical accounts in Mahabharata and visits of the Greeks travelers etc to India, that the Saptrishi Calendar started in 6676 BCE. Moreover, since Mahabharata describes events happening in Dwapara Yuga, it has been established that 6676 BCE marks the beginning of Descending Dwapara Yuga. According to this calculation, we are in the Ascending Kali Yuga (676 BCE to 2025 CE). Now, the Transitional Period of 300 years starts from 2025 CE and ends in 2325CE before the next yuga starts.

    What is important here is the Transitional Period. Calculations indicate that in the past Transitional Periods, Sri Yukteshwar’s “complete change” indeed took place. Scholars have linked in this way:

    Consider Transitional or Mutation Period preceding Ascending Kali Yuga, 300 years back from 676 BCE – Troy was destroyed, the great Mycenaean cities collapsed, “Third Intermediate Period” of Egypt happened, Indus Valley Civilisation ended, and Hekla volcano eruption”

    It is expressed in these treatises that Human Intellect and culture peaks as the Sun moves towards the Vishnunabhi and declines when it moves away from it.

    Based on complex calculations on this and the checking up of our earth’s History and Civilization , increased volcanic eruptions, sink holes, increased earthquakes, increased flooding, increased cracking of the earth because of earth swelling began in 2012.

    It is expected to worsen and the calamities will increase  and would lead to the collapse of Civilizations in Three Hundred years time.

  • Caste Origin Genome Study Misleading Mischievous

    Indian tradition states that the intermingling of people from the North and South, separated by the Vindhya Mountains , started taking place during the time when Sage Viswamitra lived.

    Sage Viswamitra banished his 56 children to the ‘Dravida‘ ,meaning South of Vindhya Mountains, as they disobeyed him.

    They moved to the South, found a culturally rich civilization , married integrated the Veda and Dravidian Customs and formed the Agamas.

    Sage Apasthamba  compiled the Vedas for those living south of the Vindhyas , comprising the best of both the Cultures and gave the Apasthamba Sutra,.

    This is practiced in the South even today.

    Recent studies date this period around 4000 years earlier from now.

    This roughly corresponds to the beginning of Kali Yuga of Indian calendar.

    ( According to the Surya Siddhanta, Kali Yuga began at midnight (00:00) on 18 February 3102 BCE in the proleptic Julian calendar, or 14 January 3102 BC)

    But the system of caste has been in existence much before the intermingling of people between the South and the North, in the North and South,

    Though the names are different , there were marriages between different groups in the south or the Dravida area as well.

    People were classified on the basis of the basis of their geographical location in the South.

    The Tamil Literature assigns names ,

    Kuringi, Hilly Terrain.

    Mullai.Forest areas.

    Marutham, Arable land mass.

    Neydal, Area around the Sea and

    Palai, the Desrt area.

    The characteristics and specific issues are elaborated in the Tholkappiyam Agathiyam, the ancient works in Tamil.

    Each area had its own God’s,Profession and social Mores.

    Cowherds lived in Mullai,farmers in Marutham, Hunters in Kurinji,Fishermen in Neyadal and Kallars in Palai.

    There were injunctions against marrying from different geographical group.

    So the Caste system is not because of the mingling from the North.

    The Study at best conveys the fact that people from the North started mingling with each other , that’s all.

    This does not mean that Caste has been imported to South from the North.

    This confusion or deliberate misinformation is because of the Myth of Aryan Invasion of the South.

    The name Viswamitra appears in all the Four Yugas, or the Time Scale of the Hindus,

    it is difficult to assign a time for him.

    And Viswamitra  is a  Nom de plume, meaning ‘friend of the Universe ‘.

    The name of the Viswamitra as it appears in the Ramayana, which took place in the Treta Yuga, is Kausika.

    And the Viswamitra of Dwapara Yuga can not be same as the Yugas are separated by thousands of Years.

    Unless people were living for very long period of time, which, in my opinion, is possible.

    More important is the concept of Time in Hinduism.

    There is another anomaly in the study.

    It says the intermingling of the North and South stopped about 2000 years ago.

    Are there not marriages today between the people of the north and the South?

    Some more doubts on Viswamitra,

    “I had some confusion about Sage Vishwamitra. We hear
    about Sage Vishwamitra in many places:

    [1] Much before the Lord Rama came down to the earth.
    (Vishwamitra was the one who build the heaven for the
    ancestor of Lord Rama, Satyavrata, later called as
    Trishanku).

    [2] Then Vishwamitra went into penance with an enimity
    with Sage Vasista. Thats when Gayathri mantra was
    given to us.

    [3] During the penance Menaka comes down and from them
    is born the Bharatha dynasty king – Dushyant. So does
    that mean while Lord Rama’s dynasty (SuryaVamsa) were
    ruling in Treta Yuga, the seed for the Bharatha’s
    dynasty (ChandraVamsa) was sown and set to begin in
    Dwapara Yuga? in which Yugas did the Chandra Vamsa and
    Surya Vamsa dynasties gain importance?…

    I cannot provide you with a religious/spiritual answer, but as far as chronology
    is concerned – here is my answer:

    If you please refer to my ‘Royal Chronology of India’ at
    (http://www.newdharma.org/India_Chron.zip) you’ll see the name Vishvamitra come
    up many times (as you will also see with Vasishtha) because these are not one
    person. They represent an incredible lineage of Rsis going back thousands of
    years. These priests have been mentioned in our scriptures by their family
    names (“last names”) and on a few occassions their first names are also
    mentioned.

    MtDNA HVR1 genetic distances between caste populations and Africans, Asians, and Europeans are significantly different from zero (p < 0.001) and reveal that, regardless of rank, each caste group is most closely related to Asians and is most dissimilar from Africans (Table ​(Table1).1). The genetic distances from major continental populations (e.g., Europeans) differ among the three caste groups, and the comparison reveals an intriguing pattern. As one moves from lower to upper castes, the distance from Asians becomes progressively larger. The distance between Europeans and lower castes is larger than the distance between Europeans and upper castes, but the distance between Europeans and middle castes is smaller than the upper caste-European distance. These trends are the same whether the Kshatriya and Vysya are included in the upper castes, the middle castes, or excluded from the analysis. This may be owing, in part, to the small sample size (n = 10) of each of these castes. Among the upper castes the genetic distance between Brahmins and Europeans (0.10) is smaller than that between either the Kshatriya and Europeans (0.12) or the Vysya and Europeans (0.16). Assuming that contemporary Europeans reflect West Eurasian affinities, these data indicate that the amount of West Eurasian admixture with Indian populations may have been proportionate to caste rank.”

    “India’s caste system, says a new genetic study, began about 2,000 years ago. The study adds that people from different genetic populations — from the North and the South — began to mix with each other about 4,200 years ago but that the mixing stopped about 2,000 years ago.

    The study was carried out by Harvard Medical School and the CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) in Hyderabad. David Reich, a professor of genetics at Harvard Medical School, said that the caste system in India has been around for a long time, but that it had certainly not begun right at the very beginning.
