Of the Avatars of Lord Vishnu, Varaha,Vamana and Parasurma are the least talked about, as compared to Rama and Krishna. My assumption is that the Life story of Rama and Krishna are adventurous and are emphasized by Man, the Varaha and Vamana appeal more to fantasy, because of the unimaginable feats,(though the Avatars are not Fantasies).. In the case of Parasurama, world loves a Winner , even if it be God. As a footnote, I may add that the Avatars of Vishnu where He appears as a Brahmin are least popular and talked about! Take Vamana, Parasurama.
