it was delivered by One whose Historicity is proved,
And not by one whose life and teachings were chosen to be written three hundred years after his death, for some one’s political convenience,
it is not by one who remembered moral teachings after some time it was given to him by God ,that too noting it from a Stone,
synthesizes all religious thoughts,
does not advocate Bigotry,
it addresses Human issues,
it transcends Races, Nations, Religions,
it instills hope in the Minds of Man,
it does not order you to follow it,
it does not ask you to propagate your religion by killing,
it delivers one from depression and confusion,
it speaks of Human values like Compassion, Duty,Honor,Love to all Beings ,
it is objected to by the paragons of virtue in Indian Parliament,
especially by Sage Karunanidhi and mainly because
it is by an Indian in the Indian soil to Mankind.

PM Modi gifted the Gita to US President Barack Obama, which means it has already received the honour of a national scripture. What we require is only a formal announcement now,” Sushma Swaraj said in a public meeting to mark 5,151 years of the Bhagavad Gita at the Red Fort.

I received some comments for my post Nitin Gadkari‘s web of Bribes that I have been harsh in Gadkari’s case and that business expands and the bribe amount is not in tune with the IRB‘s growth.
And Gadkari was not in power!
BJP‘s Punj states that Gadkari has magnanimously ‘agreed to a probe knowing well that the investigating agencies will be hostile’
And that it is only the media , specifically the TimesNow news channel that is providing more coverage for Gadkari than for Robert Vadra!
As Arnob Goswamy put it, Mr.Punj has not been watching the TimesNow.

Facts.Timesnow filed an RTI application in August 2012 requesting information whether investigations were on the accusations of Gadkari in respect of alleged mismanagement/non transparent funds by his Company,Purti Group.
The answer in No.

Of the addresses provided to the Registrar of Companies as Directors of the Companies who have invested Crores in Gadkari’s Company.,,,
1.Gadkaris’ Driver is included.On checking up , the addressee was not found in the address.Further tracking led to another address where he was not available but his son confirmed that his father was a Director in Purti Sugar and Power and he was no longer associated with it.
It also transpires that this Panse, the driver was the principal witness to a murder in a Car found in Gadkari’s Compound.
2.Another Addresse was in Kolkata who denied his association with the Company but he was surprised that the PAN numbers his and his Family matches!
3.Another Director is an Astrolger, whose wife denied her husband was any thing more than a Vaasthu expert.
4.Two Companies were operating from a Chawl.-no board, nothing.
5.One Company’s Corporate Head quarters is in a Chawl.
6. Two Companies’ addresses were fakes.
Now Mr. Advani barges in ,backed up by Sushma Swaraj,,Venkaiah Naidu,Anant Kumar, stating that Gadkai has agreed to a Probe and would the Congress launch a probe into Vadra.? Open Collusion?
He adds a rider ‘ What is in question is not Corruption but standards of Business’!
This, from a man who went on Rath Yatra to weed out Corruption.
Advani-one understands -he needs desperately to block Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Ministerial Candidate…his coterie ditto.

The similarities between the Coal Scam and the @2G are so similar that it can be safely assumed the that 2G was a trail run to perfect the art of stealing from the exchequer without being accountable, hiding behind ‘notes’ bypassing the channels and keeping the Committee on the auction of the Coal for five years, while the allocation spree was indulged in.
Consider these facts.
Like Telecommunication, Coal is a Union Subject.
2 G had an ally heading the Ministry, with Congress holding the Minister of State slot.
As in 2G, ” the draft Cabinet note proposing auctioning of coal blocks, prepared on the instructions of the PM, was amended about half-a-dozen times, ostensibly to address the concerns of those who were opposed to auctioning. But each time the note was amended, a new litany of objections were raised”.
A convenient ploy for the Prime Minister to defend himself later by saying he ‘instructed’ to follow the rules!
In the case of the 2 G there was no objection to allocation from the States, while there were objections from the BJP ruled States,from Vasundhare Raje Scindia and Chattisgarh, which of course, were ignored.
Not that the Regional satrap Soren was The Minister for Coal and stooges of Karunanidhi of DMK for Telecom.
In the early days of 2G, TRAI and Ministry of Telecom advised for auction , pointing out the market value of the Service.
In the case of Coal.it was , then coal secretary PC Parakh 9at the time of UPA-I)
Following Parakh’s vehement opposition to this method, the UPA announced the auction policy in 2004 but didn’t operationalise it until 2010
“Parakh had informed the PM that the extant system under which a screening committee headed by the coal secretary with representatives from various ministries, State-owned corporations and state governments allocated captive coal blocks, was arbitrary, opaque and prone to corruption. More importantly, he told the PM that there was a substantial difference between the price of coal supplied by Coal India Limited and the cost of coal produced through captive mining, and thus, parties with captive blocks were making windfall gains.’
On 28 June 2004, Parakh, in a consultative meeting with stakeholders, including industry and consumer forums, made a strong pitch for linking the allocation of coal blocks with a market-driven economy. Between 1992 and 2004, on an average, three or four captive coal blocks were allocated to major steel, cement or power companies every year through the screening committee system.”
Non serious players, as in 2G, had entered the field like Jagathrakshakan’s J’R’Power P.’ltd which was five days old when it signed an MOU with Puduchery Investment Corporation(please read my blog on this).
As in 2G . the Coal Blocks were allotted at a fraction of the market price.
“while between 2004 and 2009, the UPA kept deferring the auction policy, it also went on an unprecedented allocation binge. As many as 155 precious coal blocks with billions of tonnes of coal reserves were allocated at a fraction of their true market worth in a span of five years (76 were allocated to private companies, and the rest went to public sector enterprises). The circumstances, as we will later see, suggest that this was done as per an elaborate conspiracy hatched between decision-makers and coal allottees.”
In 2G ,the BSNL was made to suffer while these shady Companies were brought in to make money ,in Coal
‘More than 80 percent of the allottees have not yet started producing coal from their respective blocks. This led to a bizarre scenario where on the one hand, the government acted with unprecedented haste in allocating these blocks, and on the other, it did precious little to ensure that the allottees started producing coal from their respective mines and used it for the designated end use like producing power, steel, cement, etc. The government has now set up a committee to identify how many operators have deliberately defaulted in starting the coal production work and how many got stuck on account of bona fide delays in land acquisition, forest and environmental clearance or approval of mining plan. The biggest rationale of the government behind captive coal block allocation was to enhance domestic coal production capacity.”
“The draft report of the CAG has pegged the total loss of revenue from this misallocation between Rs 6.31 lakh crore and Rs 10.67 lakh crore. While the windfall gain made by private companies stands between Rs 2.94 lakh crore and Rs 4.79 lakh crore, TEHELKA has learnt from its sources that the final CAG report has pegged the undue gain made by private operators between Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 2 lakh crore.”
Note that he wants 11,000 Youth of the Country to take to arms not for the cause against Corruption, but to fight if his followers are intimidated by the Government.
It is also of interest to know that his call to arms came afer Home MinisterP.Chidambaram hinted at action against Ramdav for his Trust’s illegal activities and his aides criminal connections.
True to form ,Ramdev clarified his ‘call to arms’.

The BJP which has been rubbing its hands in glee to the extent of an elderly Sushma Swaraj dancing with gay abandon in Rajghat-what does it have it to say?
Battered and bruised in the recently concluded Elections, with a President whom only the top few of the BJP know, and short of any issue to take on the imagination of the voters, the BJP seems to have caught the tiger by its tail.
Coming to Ramdev and Anna Hazare,while Ramdev goes on fast for a fixed time ,Anna Hazare fasts for a day(which is good-wish it had been an Ekadasi)and sets a date to go on fast again.
If these people are really serious they must fast like Gandhiji at a stretch till their goal,if there is any, is achieved.
While Anna Hazare is naive and gullible with no political skills to manage a Movement,Ramdev is a Criminal,hiding behind the cloak of Yoga.
Use of Fasting as an instrument of protest might lose its potency because of its misuse .

New Delhi: After Baba Ramdev‘s remark that he will raise an army of 11.000 men and women who will be trained to attack if action is taken against them was declared “anti-national” by the government, the yoga teacher’s spokesperson, S K Tijarawala, issued a statement clarifying the arms call. Released late on Wednesday night, the statement said Baba Ramdev did not mean training of guns or bombs and the intention is not to take law in their hands.

We find Ramdev jumping from the Dais,daring the Police,later declaring that they could arrest him only if they arrest all those who were fasting with him,Anna Hazare distancing him away from Ramdev,later declaring Ramdev his support,The Government rolling out the Red Carpet for Ramdev and later cracking down on him at the dead of the night,Ramdev signing a document, denying it, only to declare that the document was obtained under duress,his aide is a forger who has illegal passport who is untraceable…now, Sushma Swaraj ,Leader of Opposition in the Parliament,dancing and declaring that she danced to pep up the workers, who were protesting along with her to protest against the attack on Ramdev at the Rajghat where Gandhiji,the Apostle of Peace and Non-violence rests!
At the least Sushma Swaraj could have behaved her age while behaving the way she did.

Unfazed by the attack on her for breaking into a jig at Rajghat during a protest, BJP leader Sushma Swaraj today hit back at Congress saying those criticising her are suffering from “mental slavery” as she had the right to dance on patriotic songs anywhere in India.
A combative Swaraj said the Congress is trying to divert attention from the “main issues” of corruption and black money and questioned whether such comments had the blessings of party chief Sonia Gandhi.
“I would like to ask Sonia Gandhi whether her party has stooped to such a low level and whether it is under her consent that a party singing patriotic songs is being dubbed as a party of dancers?” Swaraj said. …
Jun 7: Congress today (June 7) demanded the resignation of Opposition Leader in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj after visuals showing the top BJP leader dancing at Mahatma Gandhi‘s samadhi Rajghat sparked a controversy.
“By dancing at the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi, Sushma Swaraj has not only insulted Gandhiji but all the freedom fighters and the entire countrymen. She should resign from the post of the Leader of the Opposition and apologise to the people,” AICC general secretary B K Hariprasad said…
The controversy erupted yesterday when visuals showing Swaraj dancing at Rajghat while on a protest were aired on television channels.
However, Swaraj defended her act saying she was dancing to the tune of patriotic songs to boost the morale of the cadres which is in keeping with the traditions of the party.
