They are trying their best in their own way to bring in awareness among the people of world about the injustice meted out to the Tamil People in Lanka and the massacre of the Tamils in Sri Lanka. These people, in their personal capacity are bringing this matter to the attention of the US Government , the Congress members of the US,Members of the EU and Australia. They had asked for my views on these issues. My views are. The Lankan issue , in my opinion, has not brought forth to the Public forcefully. Mere publishing of shocking videos/images and news items of sufferings of the individuals. The issue has not gone home to people it ought to.

New Mass Grave In Sri Lanka Found
A dampener to them has come in the way of a family ploughing their backyard and stumbling across a mass grave. ” This incident was registered after two remains exhumed while a house owner ploughed the backyard. Dr S Sivaruban, the Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) of Jaffna Teaching hospital has stated that the majority of the skeletons were female. The clothes of the remains have been decomposed, however pieces of Nylon and a National Identity Card were recovered from the grave, he revealed. Dr. Sivaruban further stated that the residents of the area mentioned that Moonkilaru village faced an artillery attack in 2009. In an inquiry made by ‘BBC Sandeshaya’ Media Spokesman for the Police, SSP Ajith Rohana has stated that the area was under the rule of LTTE for over 20 years.

LTTE became a killing machine because of ill-treatment of Tamils, Tamils were ill-treated because, from the Sinhalese point of view, were usurping Sinhalese’s Rights and Lands. Tamils counter that Sri Lanka was Tamils’ and it was developed by them! The list is endless. The point I am trying to make is that Justice or Injustice are relative terms and have no absolute term of reference. It depends on the ever-changing circumstances and the individuals’ perceptions of them. So is suffering. For the poor absence of Money is the cause of suffering. For the Rich the presence of it suffering. At the individual level what caused me suffering no longer causes it now, As also Pleasure. So these judgments a are variable and are not themselves the cause of Suffering. As such things by themselves do not cause any suffering. It is our reaction to and our capacity to handle them is the cause of sufferings. Sufferings are, 1.Mental 2.Emotional and 3 .Physical. Mental sufferings are those that occur in our mind because of our inability to cope up with things that happen which are beyond our scope. Emotional sufferings are because of our inability to control our desires and attachments, We take things to be permanent and yearns for them. Like Love, Relationships. All things come to an end in death ,if not earlier. So sufferings per se are not real and are our making. People may ask, Take for example ,the Genocide of Tamils in Sri Lanka or the Holocaust inflicted by Hitler upon the Jews. As said earlier the reason lies in the perspective of the people. At the Universal Level there is no such thing as Good or Evil. They are all Illusions pertaining to this Temporal World. They do not affect the Self, the Atman. It is beyond these. Look at you self. You have suffered. Have you been suffering all through your Life? People think only of sufferings and never recollect their Happier times.

And a shameless Indian Government is likely to be represented by its Prime Minister! Latest news is that Salman Khurshid,The External Affairs Minister is likely to attend the CHOGM Summit, Either you attend out of conviction and moral values. you do not deputize. It is not Man Mohan Singh who is attending or not attending, It is a question of India’ anguish. Salman Khurshid does not represent India and Indian feelings and PM does? Half a million Tamils kept under military rule in Jaffna peninsula (Northern Sri Lanka) that had been described as an “open prison”. Thousands in custody – detention without trial, other widespread abuses Economic embargo imposed on traditional Tamil areas for more than 2 decades Supply of food, medicine, fuel, electricity and other essential items controlled by the Military Forced Starvation Usage of banned weapons – Cluster bombs, White phosporous. Usage of heavy weapons, artillery on densely populated civilian areas. Reported usage of chemical weapons. Mass Graves and systematic violations of fundamental human rights remain uninvestigated No International Media allowed into conflict areas State sponsored pogroms Systematic destruction of Infrastructure Indiscriminate and wanton air attacks on traditional Tamil areas for more than 2 decades.
