  • Saudi Arabia Beheads Sri Lanka Maid Video

An immigrant housemaid was beheaded on a trumped up charge  of killing an infant of her employer ,on Wednesday.

    This relates a three-year old complaint .

There was also a charge that she altered her age in her passport.

The girl lost her parents in the Tsunami that struck the Southern Coast of India  and Sri Lanka and she was illiterate.

Saudi Arabia went ahead with the execution despite requests for clemency  from Sri Lanka and Human Rights Organisations.

The plight of immigrant labor ,especially of low-level jobs that of maids, building workers is shocking, in the Gulf Countries, and especially in Saudi Arabia.

The ill-treatment meted out to them is Saudi Arabia remains unreported because of stringent laws on freedom of expression.

    Excerpts from a Report:

Posted on Mon Aug 13 2012 01:39:10 GMT+0530 (India Standard Time) by bayouranger

Revealed in report by Nepalese Embassy in Riyadh. Since 2000 more than 3 thousand Nepalese migrant workers have died. One in every 162 people.

Kathmandu (AsiaNews / Agencies) – In 12 years over 3 thousand Nepalese migrant workers in Saudi Arabia have died because of their poor working conditions and exploitation. Of a total of 484,701 migrants in the Arab country, the average is 1 in every 162. The shocking findings were revealed in a report by the Nepalese Embassy in Riyadh, which identifies the abuse of black market alcohol a major cause of deaths. Udaya Raj Pandev, Nepal’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia and promoter of the study, explains that to withstand the grueling and demeaning working conditions, thousands of workers give in to the vice of alcohol circumventing bans in force in the Muslim country. According to the diplomat, over 30 people die each month due to alcoholism. Many of them come home exhausted, drink and die in their sleep. Another factor is accidents in the workplace….

Over 8 million migrant workers fill manual, clerical, and service jobs, constituting more than half the national workforce. Many suffer multiple abuses and labor exploitation, sometimes amounting to slavery-like conditions.

The kafala (sponsorship) system ties migrant workers’ residency permits to their “sponsoring” employers, whose written consent is required for workers to change employers or exit the country. Employers abuse this power to confiscate passports, withhold wages, and force migrants to work against their will.

In August Jadawel International, owned by Saudi Arabia’s third richest man, Shaikh Muhammad bin Issa Al Jaber, was six months in arrears with salary payments, as in previous years, and managers threatened workers not to pursue complaints in labor court.

Some 1.5 million migrant domestic workers remain excluded from the 2005 Labor Law. As in years past, Asian embassies reported thousands of complaints from domestic workers forced to work 15 to 20 hours a day, seven days a week, and denied their salaries. Domestic workers, most of whom are women, frequently endure forced confinement, food deprivation, and severe psychological, physical, and sexual abuse.

In December 2010, authorities made no attempts to rescue an Indonesian migrant domestic worker who had worked for 10 years without pay and whose sponsors were “renting” her out to other houses, according to one Saudi woman who informed authorities. In November 2010, authorities in Abha, southern Saudi Arabia, recovered the body of Kikim Komalasari, a 36-year-old Indonesian domestic worker, bearing signs of extensive physical abuse. In September an appeals court overturned a three-year prison sentence for the employer found guilty of severely assaulting Sumiati Mustapa, her Indonesian domestic worker. In June the government beheaded Ruyati binti Sapubi, an Indonesian domestic worker convicted of murdering her employer who allegedly refused to allow binti Sapubi to return home. Courts sentenced another Indonesian domestic worker to death for killing her employer after he allegedly tried to rape her.

Saudi Arabia continued to deport hundreds of Somalis to Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital, according to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, despite the acute violence there. Criminal Justice and Torture

Detainees, including children, commonly face systematic violations of due process and fair trial rights, including arbitrary arrest and torture and ill-treatment in detention. Saudi judges routinely sentence defendants to thousands of lashes.

Judges can order arrest and detention, including of children, at their discretion. Children can be tried and sentenced as adults if physical signs of puberty exist. The Interior Ministry said it had executed Bandar al-Luhaibi, a child, in October for killing his grandmother.”

A complaint from the Employer is enough to arrest you.

As a rule the Middle east employers collect the workers’ passports and threaten them.

    Raping of housemaids are routine.

As the Passports are with the employer they can not complain.

    False complaints are lodged.

Time that International pressure is applied.

PS.Though it might sound inhuman, let me say this.

‘ What about killing of fishermen from Tamil Nadu who are shot regularly in the sea near Rameswaram, on a charge that they crossed international waters?

    Don’t they have a family?

Even if they have transgressed , why shoot them dead?

Pakistan with whom India’s relations are far from being warm, never shoots down those who stray into their territory!

    To Indian Media.

‘Why is it  it is always “Tamil Nadu Fishermen” and not Indian Fishermen?

    Story:

A maid convicted of killing a baby has been beheaded in Saudi Arabia, despite being only 17 at the time of the crime.

Rizana Nafeek was beheaded by sword in Dawadmy, near the capital Riyadh, on Wednesday morning.

The execution went ahead despite years of international appeals from Miss Nafeek’s family and human rights groups.

Supporters of the housemaid, from Sri Lanka, say the age on her passport was changed so she could get work and that according to her birth certificate she was just 17 at the time.

The Sri Lankan government said it ‘deplores the execution’ and human rights groups also condemned her death.

Miss Nafeek was sentenced to death in 2007 after her Saudi employer accused her of strangling his four-month-old baby two years earlier after a dispute with the child’s mother.

But Miss Nafeek always protested her innocence and said the baby had choked to death while being bottle fed.

Her parents repeatedly appealed to King Abdullah to pardon their daughter.

The Sri Lankan government also appealed against the death penalty but the Saudi Supreme Court upheld it in 2010.

It was again ratified by the Saudi interior ministry yesterday.

  • Muslims Discovered America

There have been claims and counter claims on who discovered America.

    Vespucci,Columbus,Phoenicians , Egyptians ….

    Now comes the weirdest!

    Muslims discovered America.

This assertion is being viewed as an attempt by the Muslim group to demand immigration to US.

    Story:

    Columbus Voyage

In a Television interview to a Saudi TV Station on Dec 27,,Nihad Awad, the co-founder of the Council on American Islamic Relations.

“Some documents and accounts indicate that Muslim seafarers were the first to reach the U.S., [so] the bottom line is that Islam played a part in the establishment and development of the U.S.,” Awad told the Saudi interviewer, in an interview in a New York studio.

CAIR did not respond to The Daily Caller’s request for an explanation of Awad’s comments, which were recorded by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

Awad’s group bills itself as a “civil rights” group, but five of its former employees have been jailed or deported for terror offenses, and FBI officials refuse to meet Awad because of his ties to jihadi groups, such as Hamas.

    Related;

‘In the early 20th century, a pair of Smithsonian-funded archaeologists (Prof. S.A Jordonand G.E Kinkaid) claimed that they found remnants of a thriving Egyptian civilizationstowed within a series of caverns carved into the side of a remote portion of the Grand Canyon. The story of this discovery was on the front page of the April 15, 1909 edition of the Arizona Gazette.

According to the article, a series of strange caves and artifacts were found in the Marble Canyon region of the Grand Canyon. The article also describes a cross-legged idol resembling Buddha, and a large tomb filled with mummified humans. However, all of these claims are denied by official sources.

  • Israel Spies With Birds, US Site Mocks Sudan Pakistan

Sudan recently complained that Israel was spying by a Vulture.

Israel denied it saying that it was only studying the Immigration pattern of Birds.

While this debate rages on ,http://www.faithfreedom.org/articles/satire/it-it-a-plane-is-it-a-bird-no-its-an-israeli-spy   mocks at the Islamic countries at their paranoia .

    Judge yourself who is right.

    Israel Spies by Bird? Sudan
    Avian Spy?

‘The avian discovery was made in Kereinek, a town in the Darfur region of western Sudan, Israeli media have reported.

Sudanese officials are said to have concluded that the bird was a secret agent after discovering it was fitted with GPS and solar-powered equipment capable of broadcasting images via satellite, according to Haaretz newspaper, which cited an Egyptian website, El Balad.

The vulture also had a tag attached to its leg with “Israel Nature Service” and “Hebrew University, Jerusalem”, leading to accusations that it was on an Israeli surveillance mission.

The reports follow allegations by Sudan that Israel carried out the bombing of a munitions depot near the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, in October, after jamming the country’s radar defences.

Israel has made no comment on the raid, which left two people dead. The arms depot was said to be supplying weapons to the Palestinian militant group Hamas in Gaza.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/israel/9734674/Vulture-spying-for-Israel-caught-in-Sudan.html

    Onto the Mocking part.

”The Israelis were alerted to the fate of their “flying super-spy” when “all of a sudden it stopped flying and started travelling on the ground”. No doubt the “I-spy masters” of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority ground their teeth in frustration at the thwarting of their “evil plans”.

Okay, enough with the satire – for the moment.

Earlier this year (2012) was this story: An “article in the Turkish national daily Haberturk was serious. A European bee-eater(Merops apiaster) was found dead in a field. Its leg had a metal ring stamped with the words “Israel Tel Aviv”. One of its nostrils was suspiciously large. Turkish Authorities reckoned it was evidence that electronic surveillance equipment had been stuffed inside. For some Turks, it all added up to Israeli espionage.”

These reminded me of the story last year (2011) when a Griffon-vulture was found (similarly equipped and tagged to the 2012 vulture) in Saudi Arabia and which resulted in similar stories in the Muslim press in Saudi and elsewhere. The Saudi newspaper al-Weeam said residents of the area in which the bird was caught called the tracking paraphernalia “evidence of a Zionist plot.” (shock, horror).

Then, also in 2010, there was the “sharm el-shark” as it was known in the U.K. press. In Egypt the fact that it attacked in a tourist area was enough to sparkpress rumours that it had been trained by Mossad (shockhorror) for that very purpose! It too had GPS gear attached which the Egyptians thought was a “directing device” – with which Mossad could “steer” the shark to attack (non-Israeli) tourists (“Left a bit Levi, right a bit, BITE!”)

In July 2008, the “Palestinian” press e.g. Al-Ayyam and Al-Hayat Al-Jadida,reported that Israel was “using poison resistant super-rats to drive Arab families out of their homes in the Old City of Jerusalem.” These rats were so enormous that they were scaring all the Arabs’ cats away and (presumably) had been trained to only afflict Muslims and not the many Jews who also live in the area.

Then we have the “Great Squirrel Nutkin Spy Conspiracy” in 2007. Iran captured 14 “spying squirrels”. The stories vary a bit and the Iranians can’t decide who actually trained them – but I bet Mossad is amongst their list of suspects, along with the “great satan” and “little satan” of course (perm any number you choose!). I do wonder if the Iranians had watched too many of Hanna-Barbera’s “Secret Squirrel” cartoons on satellite TV before making this stunning discovery and deduction.

In the previous millenium (just proving that Muslim paranoia isn’t a recent development):

According to Pakistani websites, it was the CIA and RAW that caused the devastating floods in 2010. This “proves” that the Americans have control not of such irrelevancies as birds and sharks, but of the forces of naturethemselves.

In this instance I am forced to wonder whether some of the cloud formations spotted during the monsoon spelled “CIA” to the over-heated (despite the deluge) Muslim minds.

It goes without saying (but I’ll say it nevertheless) that the idea that birds, squirrels, sharks and rodents could be used as spies is paranoic at the least and quite possibly verges on the insane and the idea that anyone can control the weather is insane – especially since we can’t even predict it with accuracy (in changeable weather) more than 24 hours ahead.

But since it is a full moon tonight (as I write this) I will be lunatic enough to entertain (I choose my words carefully here) the idea that it’s all true and that Mossad is recruiting from the animal kingdom…

You’ve really got to hand it to Mossad and the “Zionist plotters”.

Not only do they use HUMINT (human intelligence sources) and ELINT (Electronic intelligence sources), they are now using ANINT (Animal intelligence sources).

According to the Arabs, Mossad have trained birds, fish (the shark) and mammals (rats, according to Hamas last year and squirrels, Iran) for “espionage”.

Various vultures, pelicans and even small birds (e.g. bee eaters) all out-fitted and trained by Mossad’s BIT (Bird Intelligence Team) are obviously flying all over Arab and other Muslim lands collecting all sorts of pictorial and other data. Who needs multi-million dollar (or Shekel) spy-satellites when you can have hundreds (as admitted by Mossad – it’s purported to be Hebrew university and the Israeli Nature Service saying this, but they’re Mossad fronts obviously) of much cheep-er “platforms” to do the job.

Fish, working for by Israel’s FSB (Fish Sedition Board) are not only being used to attack Egypt’s tourist industry, but (undoubtedly) will be trained in future for a range of other economic espionage jobs – such as leading fish schools out of Muslim fishing areas and straight into Israeli nets, thereby depriving good Muslims of needed protein and simultaneously reducing the cost of living for the Zionists.’

  • Shia Sunni Divide in Pakistan. Reuters Report.

Shia Sunni divide has been the bane of Islam.

Though not well versed in Koran, I believe that a Religion which believes One God.it sounds silly to speak of Sectarian Divide .

It can be found in all Religions especially the ones who profess that there is Equality in their Religion.

Now coming to the point you find SaudiArabia funding Mossad for operations against Iran.

The feud between the Islamic Countries  is endangering Islam as a Religion?

Would the followers of Islam realize this?

Read The investigative Story by Reuters on Te Shia Sunni Divide in Pakistan.

    Imam Husayn Mosque KarbalaI,Iraq.

“About 20 men dressed as Pakistani soldiers boarded a bus bound for a Muslim festival outside this mountain town and checked the identification cards of the passengers. They singled out 19 Shi’ites, drew weapons and slaughtered them, most with a bullet to the head.

The shooters weren’t soldiers. They were a hit squad linked to the Sunni Muslim extremist group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, or LeJ. They had trekked in along a high Himalayan pass that hot August morning to waylay a convoy of pilgrims.

Here and across Pakistan, violent Sunni radicals are on the march against the nation’s Shi’ite minority.

With a few hundred hard-core cadres, the highly secretive LeJ aims to trigger sectarian violence that would pave the way for a Sunni theocracy in U.S.-allied Pakistan, say Pakistan police and intelligence officials. Its immediate goal, they say, is to stoke the intense Sunni-Shi’ite violence that has pushed countries like Iraq close to civil war.

More than 300 Shi’ites have been killed in Pakistan so far this year in sectarian conflict, according to human rights groups. The campaign is gathering pace in rural as well as urban areas such as Karachi, Pakistan’s biggest city.

The Shi’ites are a big target, accounting for up to 20 percent of this nation of 180 million.

In January, LeJ claimed responsibility for a homemade bomb that exploded in a crowd of Shi’ites in Punjab province, killing 18 and wounding 30. LeJ’s reach extends beyond Pakistan:

Late last year, LeJ claimed responsibility for bombings inAfghanistan that killed 59 people, the worst sectarian attacks since the fall of the Taliban government in 2001.

“No doubt – (LeJ) are the most dangerous group,” said Chaudhry Aslam, a top counter-terrorism police commando based in Karachi, whose house was blown up by the LeJ. “We will fight them until the last drop of blood.”

For an outlawed group accused of fomenting such mayhem, the leader of LeJ is surprisingly easy to find.

Malik Ishaq spent 14 years in jail in connection with dozens of murder and terrorism cases.

He was released after the charges could not be proved – partly because of witness intimidation, officials say – and showered with rose petals by hundreds of supporters when he left prison in July 2011.

Although Ishaq is one of Pakistan’s most feared militants, he enjoys the protection of followers clutching AK-47 assault rifles in the narrow lane outside his home.

There, in the town of Rahim Yar Khan in southern Punjab province, Reuters visited him for an interview.

“The state should declare Shi’ites as non-Muslims on the basis of their beliefs,” said Ishaq, calling them the “greatest infidels on earth.” Young supporters with shoulder-length hair in imitation of the Prophet Mohammad hung on every word.

    FOLLOWING THE TRAIL

To assess the LeJ threat, Reuters followed the group’s trail across Pakistan – from Ishaq’s compound, to Gilgit in the foothills of the Himalayas, recruiting grounds in central Punjab, and the backstreets of Karachi on the Arabian Sea coast.

In interviews, police, intelligence officials, clerics and LeJ members described a group that has grown more robust and appears to be operating across a much wider area in Pakistan than just a few years ago. But it had a head start.

The LeJ once enjoyed the open support of the powerful spy agency, the Directorate for Inter-Services Intelligence.

The ISI used such groups as military proxies in India and Afghanistan and to counter Shi’ite militant groups.

Since being outlawed after the attacks of September 11, 2001,

LeJ has worked with Sunni radical groups al Qaeda and the Pakistani Taliban in several high-profile strikes.

Among them were assaults in 2009 on Pakistan’s military headquarters and on Sri Lanka’s visiting cricket team.

Washington says LeJ was involved in the killing of Wall Street Journal correspondent Daniel Pearl in 2002.

Now it is gathering strength anew.

The risks are heightened by Pakistan’s long-standing role as a battlefield in a proxy war between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shi’ite Iran, which have been competing for influence in Asia and the Middle East since the 1979 Iranian revolution.

That competition has heated up since the United States toppled secularist dictator Saddam Hussein in Iraq and left the country under the control of an Iranian-influenced Shi’ite government.

Intelligence officials say the LeJ is drawing financial support from Saudi donors and other Sunni sources.

“Unfortunately, the state for strategic reasons turned a blind eye to the LeJ for a long time,” said a retired army general. “Now we have a situation where it has become Pakistan’s Frankenstein.”

Interior Minister Rehman Malik, who is in charge of internal security, told Reuters that “we always take action” against the LeJ when the group is suspected of murder or terrorism. “We track people and arrest them.”

When asked why those arrested are often freed, he said: “Look, my job is to arrest people, not to let them go.

We all know who lets them off the hook and why,” he said, referring to local politicians and elements of the military who turn a blind eye to their activities or even support them in some cases.
