Bhuvaneswari is one of the primary forms of Sakthi. Her name translates to "Goddess of the world" or "Queen of the universe". She is said to embody concepts of Sri Vidya Upasna in its Transcendental and Temporal Aspects. The Bija mantra of Sri Bhuvaneswari is derived from Panchadasi. According to the Devi Bhagavata Purana, she offers the five manifestations of Pancha Prakriti – Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Gayatri and the root of all Vedas. Despite being the primordial cause of the world, she remains ever youthful and is often described as unfathomable and indescribable.
