    One of the intriguing aspects of Sanatana Dharma, Hinduism is the places mentioned in them, in the Puranas, Ithihasas,Ramayana and Mahabharata seem to be both allegorical and real(which is verified)

    Mount Meru,Chandra Loka, Dhruva( Pole Star)Agastya ( Canopus Star),Sisumara Chakra,Pancha Kosas,the Five sheaths of Human body)……….

    All these have physical existence

    Please read my Posts on each of these.

    I had a call from a Gentleman from Houston ,Texas,US,who informed me that he had seen images of the Deavatas mentioned in our Texts, when he was cruising in the Caribbean.

    To be more specific around Puerto Rico, Cuba.

    Images flashed by as he was cruising and he felt charged for an instance.

    To the doubting Thomases , let me add that he is a very practical man and is a contractor erecting satellites.

    In a conversation lasting an hour, I was able to see a keen and observant individual with an open mind.

    He did not wish his name to be mentioned.

    He had an interpretation of this phenomena, which he had suggested I do not Publish.

    However I am posting this with my interpretation, with the limited knowledge  I have of Sanatana Dharma Texts.

    4.It extends to and beyond the British Virgin Islands.

    5.The Wall seems to be a folded mountain Chain.

    6.Zoom the view at your top right hand corner of the wall ending at British islands.

    7.Below Rooselt Roads you find a Fold one finds in the outer wall of a Palace.

     

    Three refernces come to my mind.

    One is the Moola Sainya of Ravana.

    Another is the place where badasuara was killed b Lalitha Devi.

    Yet another is the Chitamani Gruha of Lalitha Devi!

    There are ancient Vishnu , Shiva temples in Colorado.

    And the US is the Pathala Loka of Hinduism.

    Am looking for more evidence.

    to construct 16 palaces in 16 kshetras (sacred places) for the residence of Lalita &Shiva KameswaMeruand other gigantic mountains (9) Jalasamudraand
    other oceans (7) –total 16Kshetras.
    The palatial buildings of mother goddess in these kshetras are called Sripura.
    360. Wherever a Sripura is located , its dimensions are like this.
    A.)Mount Meru has 4 peaks,
    One on the eastern side, one on north-west, one on the south-west,
    Each is 100 yojanas tall and 100 yojanas wide these are trimurti worlds,

    In the center of these is the fourth, which is 400 yojanas tall and 400 yojanas wide.
    B.) Sripura is on the Middle peak
    Sripura has metallic compound walls 7 in number they are square-shaped. Eachwall is separated from the next one by one a distance of 7 yojanas.

    Kalayasa (iron)wall – The perimeter of this wall is 16 thousand yojanas.

    Kansya (bronze)wall—Between these two is the first chamber. Several trees and gardens are located here.
    Mahakali and Mahakala are the gate keepers.
    Kalachakra is their throne.
    ‘Images of Ganesha have been excavated in plenty in Mexico. This god with the elephant’s trunk is frequently depicted in Mexican manuscripts . Lord Ganesha ‘Ekadant Ganesh’ was found in the temple at Kopan .

     

    The image of Hanuman called by the name ‘Wilka Huemana’ and measuring 50 feet in height and 12 feet in breadth was found in Guatemala. Similar one was found during an excavation of an Aztec temple in Mexico City and was known as ‘Euhectal’, a wind God, a monkey God.

     

    In the jungles of Honduras idols sit in Hindu mudra meditation pose .

    The Hindu doctrine of the ages is found on a massive stone monolith popularly known as the Aztec calendar. This amazing piece of stone disc is 12 feet in diameter and weights more than 20 tons.

     

    A festival called Sita-Ram (Situa – Raimi) was celebrated in Mexico during Nav-Ratri or Dussehra period which has been described on page 5867 in the book ‘Hamsworth History of the World’.  ( read my post0

    Both in Central and South America, there are found Sati cremation, priesthood, gurukul system, yajna, birth, marriage and death ceremonies to some extent similar to the Hindus. When Pizarro killed Peruvian King Atahualpa his 4 wives committed Sati—or self sacrifice.

    Same with Hindu concepts of cataclysm, rebirth, four yugas and the concept of two planets like Rahu and Ketu causing solar eclipse

    AZTEC OF MEXICO is derived from “worshipper of Ashtabhuja or Ashtak ( 8 armed ) ” , the eight armed God- found in Mexican temples.

    I read an interesting article while researching for proof on the Vedic India encompassed the entire world.

    I have posted quite a few articles on the Ancient Kingdoms of India with Time line,names,The Dynasties List and the existing archeological proof for the statement that Bharatvarsha extended throughout the world.

    Kanchi Periyavar mentions this fact in the Book Deivathin Kural in Tamil( Free download of the Book is available in this site),with astonishing evidence from the Vedic Texts.

    The Mayan civilization as well as the Egyptian Civilizations often intrigued me.

    Their method of worship of the Sun, the reverence for the Dead and some cultural practices are very close to Hinduism.

    “The Vedas tell a number of valid facts about ancient America . They call Mexico and Central America Patala. In Sanskrit, Patala means ‘one of the seven regions under the earth and the abode of serpents’ According to the myths, an eagle named Garuda transported thousands of ancient mariners, called snakes (Nagas, there in its beak. Although I feel they came here in ocean-going ships, the implication is clear that they could have flown here as well. The legends of the O’odhams of Arizona describe such a sky-born ship. They call it Nah-Big, a term definitely derived from the Sanskrit Nag-Bhaga or Snake God. One cannot help but become impressed when he reads the O’odham stories of the Nah-Big. It is clear that it was some kind of flying ship. The O’odhams even speak of it as being propelled by an energy generator having positive (male) and (female) female poles…

    In the Mayan-derived dialects along Mexico’s northern east coast down to and including the Central America republics, Patal means ‘abandoned or deserted land; without people.’

    Naga-like derivatives also exist in Mexico . In Sanskrit, Nag-asta means Western Naga Land . The Mayan lowlands down to and including Costa Rica are called Nacaste.

    According to Hindu legends, a naga could turn into a human being. In Mexico, a nagual was a were-animal. Nagual derived from the Sanskrit Nag-Baal, meaning Snake Demon…

    The Hindu Naga Mayas also belonged to a powerful Dravidian group of Nagas called Asuras. Whether or not the Asuras were demi-gods or demons depended on one’s point of view. The leader of these Naga Asuras was the Hindu (really a Bulgarian) god of precious metals, wealth, traders and even agriculturists (really a group) named Kubera or Khyber (Kheever). For Christians and Jews he was Heber. This Kubera, Khyber, or Heber was leader of a horde called Yakshas or Yakhas (Biblical Joktan?). They were reputed to be both superior mentally and materially. Their servants were called Guhyakhas (Yakha shit). Today, in Judaism, which evolved from the Kubera teachings, the term has changed to Goy, but the meaning has never changed. The Kubera hordes, composed of Yakshas or Yakhas and their Guyakha underclass captured most of India’s undesirables, the unredeemably savage and cannibilistic Rakshasas, exiling them to Ceylon or Lanka. Later, they exiled them to Patala, supposedly in air ships.

    The Mayas had their own nation in Lanka, also named Maya, with a sub-group called Laks (Mexico’s Lacandones). It is a strange anomaly that Rama, Lenka (Lanka), and Lacandon Mayan peoples exist in Meso-America, including the inhabitants of Yucatan (Yakhustan; Joktan?)…

    In India, many Hindus love to mention them as a superior race of people who came to them from Uttara Kuru ( Siberia and the North Pole). Yet, the Kurus (Ari) and Ramas were just the Indian people themselves who once inhabited the whole of the Eastern Hemisphere — Kurus the north, and Ramas, the Indian sub continent itself.     It just so happens that the Carib (Cariva) Indians of the Caribbean islands claimed that their creator gods were the Kuru Rumani. The Mexicans will tell you that the state of Veracruz derives its name from Ver a Cruz (Seeing at a Cross), but such a name is preposterous for a variety of reasons. The people of Vera Cruz are really descendants of Carib Indians, called Vira–Kurus (Hero Kurus). Emperor Moctezuma of Mexico himself told the Spaniards that the Mexican royal family descended from a ruling eastern caste called Colhua, the only way the Aztecs could pronounce Kaurava.

    I could provide almost an infinity of evidence to validate my claim that the Kurus and Ramas (Aryans and sub-continent Hindus) first colonized the Americas , but that’s not necessary. What I have to say in the last part of this article is sufficient unto itself.

    The Hindus of antiquity had an ancient astro-geographical map with four lotus petals pointing in the cardinal directions, called Mt. Meru (the world mountain). The point of the left petal fell on a seaport called Ketumala or Chetumala. Both pronunciations were used. The lower center petal was Jambudvipa (subcontinent India ).”

    One does not know whether it will include the those killed in Mullivaikkal And elsewhere as a part of Tamil ‘Final Solution’

    Even then the count is likely to be misleading.

    I make this observation based on the Media frenzy in Sri Lanka where every death in the Civil War is being attributed to LTTE

    LTTE has to share the blame for its terrorist activities and its indiscriminate killing of civilians, Tamil Leaders.

    On The Human Rights Issue in Sri Lanka.

    But why and who is responsible for  this wild accusation by the West ?

    There had not been any violation of human rights  for which Sri Lanka could correctly  be singled out as the only country in the world committing violations against the rights of its people.

    If we examine the number of innocent people who have been killed and continued to be killed by other  wealthy Nations in the world, not in their own countries but in other developing countries outside their own, using their NATO or American Armed Forces chasing after terrorists, what human right violations Sri Lanka  is accused of having committed cannot be regarded as such.

    These accusations against Sri Lanka are being made without taking into consideration that Sri Lanka suffered from terrorism  for  nearly thirty years  and carried out military operations against the terrorists without going outside its own territorial boundaries, as the West is doing.  Sri Lanka cannot therefore be accused for violation of human rights as it carried out its military operations strictly within the country avoiding  damage as far as possible  to its own  civilian population.

    A war against terrorism is different from a declared war against a country. In Sri Lanka it was just  a group of  Tamil youth within the country who had taken up arms against the Government. They were  taken  by the Indian Secret Service and trained as terrorists and released into the country to accomplish their aim of dividing the country to form a separate State for the Tamil Community.  Those Tamil terrorists who eventually  turned out to be a considerable force had to be eliminated  as they were causing considerable suffering to the people of the whole country for nearly three decades.

    The civilians no doubt may have got killed in the course of  military operations  to eliminate that destructive  terrorism despite the care taken by the Government Air Forces for precise bombing, and others may have got killed being caught in the cross fire between the terrorists and armed forces.

    But vast destruction to the country and lot of murders of civilians in large scale massacres in unimaginable ways and means employing claymore bombs, in buses , trains, market places, and using kidnapped Tamil women trained as suicide bombers exploding themselves to eliminate selected human targets,  had been carried out by the terrorists through out the 30 years of their ruthless, atrocious existence.

    In that situation of utter horror the country faced for thirty years the civilian deaths in the course of the elimination of terrorists by the Armed Forces of Sri Lanka cannot by any imagination be called violation of human rights, and least of all war crimes…

    Britain is guilty of war Crimes.

    I was amazed at the number of examples given by the contributors to this publication about the instances of Britain’s human rights abuses. If you wish to read about all of Britain’s abuses of human rights since 1944 then please refer to or purchase the following book: –

    Mark Curtis is a former Research Fellow at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House). He has written extensively on Britain’s and USA’s foreign policies. Two of his more famous books are:

    1. The Ambiguities of Power, British Foreign Policy since 1945, and
    2. Web of Deceit: Britain’s Real Role in the World.

    Curtis’s seminal publication, Unpeople, Britain’s Secret Human Rights Abuses contains 323 easy-to-read pages with 39 pages of references and notes. I purchased this book in 2011.

    At the very end of ‘Unpeople’, Curtis provides a table of figures giving the number of deaths since 1944 for which Britain has significant responsibility. He has divided the table in to 4 categories: –

    1. Direct responsibility.
    2. Indirect responsibility.
    3. Active inaction.
    4. Others.

    Curtis concludes that Britain has significant direct responsibility for between 4 and 6 million deaths.

    One dimension we tend to have forgotten is Britain’s role in the slave trade! The Portuguese and Spanish had the lead in this lucrative trade but British businessmen became involved in the trade in the 16th century, and the Treaty of Utrecht (1713) gave them the right to sell slaves in the Spanish Empire.

    In the 18th century, perhaps 6 million Africans were taken in atrocious conditions to the Americas as slaves, at least a third of them in British ships based mainly in Liverpool. The trade in human beings was termed “The triangular trade”. Slavery was a legal institution in all of the 13 American colonies and Canada (acquired by Britain in 1763). The profits of the slave trade and of Caribbean plantations amounted to 5% of the British economy at the time of the Industrial revolution.

    The first part of “The triangular trade” was to take items such as guns and brandy to Africa to exchange for slaves. The second side of the triangle was to take the slaves on the ‘Middle Passage’ across the Atlantic to sell in the West Indies and North America. To complete the triangle the traders took a cargo of rum, cotton, gold and sugar back to sell in England.

    Mr. Cameron, wake up! As our President Mahinda Rajapakse rightly said “People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones”.

    Sri Lanka War Dead counting,

    Sri Lanka began counting the dead from its 26-year civil war on Thursday, less than two weeks after the island nation came under intense international pressure to investigate allegations of war crimes during the climax of the conflict.

    Some 16,000 officials will spread out across the country in a major operation that the government said would take six months to complete.

    More than 100,000 people are believed to have died during the 1983-2009 war between Tamil Tiger separatists concentrated in the north and government forces.

    In the most contentious, bloody phase, some 300,000 civilians, mostly ethnic minority Tamils, were trapped on a narrow beach during the army’s final onslaught on rebels, and a U.N. panel estimates 40,000 non-combatants died in a few days.

    Both sides committed atrocities, but army shelling killed most victims, the panel concluded.

    D.C.A. Gunawardena, director general of the Department of Census and Statistics, said the country-wide survey would assess the death toll and damage to property since 1982.

    But he conceded that the census could not give a full picture of the scale of losses.

    “There is a limitation,” Gunawardena told Reuters. “If somebody’s whole family died or fled the country, then nobody will be there to give their details.”

    Researchers at University College London spent three years compiling a searchable listing of thousands of people who received compensation for loss of their “possessions” when slave ownership was outlawed by Britain in 1833.

    About 46,000 people were paid a total of 20 million pounds — the equivalent of 40 percent of all annual government spending at the time — after the freeing of slaves in British colonies in the Caribbean, Mauritius and southern Africa.

    “This is a huge bailout,” said Keith McClelland, a research associate on the project. “Relatively speaking, it is bigger than the bailout of the bankers in recent years.”

    Compensation for slave-owners was opposed by some abolitionists, who argued it was immoral, but it was approved as the political price of getting the 1833 abolition bill passed.

    The database includes details on the 3,000 compensated slave owners who lived in Britain — rather than its colonies — and includes the ancestors of several present-day politicians and the writers Graham Greene and George Orwell. Orwell’s real name was Eric Blair, and the trustees of his great-grandfather, Charles Blair, were paid 4,442 pounds for 218 slaves on a plantation in Jamaica.

    Not all the slave-owners were ultra-wealthy. Middle-class Britons up and down the country were paid compensation — evidence, the researchers say, of how far the tentacles of slavery spread through society.
