This Shiv Linga, along with it has the Images of His Family.
25 Feet Shiv Linga
“Sidheshvar Nath Temple, an ancient temple for lord Shiva and His family. It is believed, that Linga of lord Siva is having highest length here i.e. 25 Feet in length and 22 Feet width.
This place is discovered by a wood-cutter Mr Prem Subba in year 2004.
This is self-made Shiv ling having garland of Sfatic, naturally.
Clean water keep flowing continuously on lower side of Shiva Lingh.”
Tourists can see the constant flow of water from the base of the lingam.
The largest Shivling in the world has been discovered not quite long ago by the people of Arunachal Pradesh in a town called Zero or Ziro also known as Apatani Plateau which is located at an altitude of 5754 ft. (1,780m) above sea level in Arunachal Pradesh of North East India.
This high town is almost a level valley enveloped on all sides by pine clad low stooping hills.
A small picturesque destination with the quietly flowing rivers of Subansiri, Nishi, Apatani, Dafla, and Miri along with the Pine and Bamboo groves, villages, a craft centre and Tarin Fish Farm makes this place an ideal place for trekking and hiking.
Now, the people of this land happen to find a HUGE Shivlingam about 25ft tall and is still growing bigger.
The Archeological Survey of India(ASI) has made many visits there for observation and many devotees of Lord shiva have been visiting this place in the recent months to have a view and worship this awesome Shivlingam.
It seems that there is still a confusion as to whether this massive Shivling is to be termed as a Shivlingam or an Image of Lord Shiva because there are also 2 more stones next to it, which are believed to be Devi Parvati and Lord Ganesha.

His weapon was Axe.
The Axe would not fall from his hands, after he had killed his mother.
It fell off at Parashuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh.

Pilgrims Bathing Parashuram Kund
Parashuram Kund is in Arunachal Pradesh, situated on the Brahmaputra plateau in the lower reaches of the north of Tezu in Lohit District, has been a
source of spiritual inspiration of a multitude of devotees since time immemorial.
Legend.
“One day,Renuka, mother of Parashuram, went to fetch water.
While returning, she felt drawn towards King Chitranatha playing with celestial nymphs.
Consequently, she was late in returning to the ashram.
Jamadagni, her husband, worried over her delay as it was getting late for the midday worship.
On perceiving through his divine power the reason for her delay, Jamadagni was so enraged that, on her arrival, he asked his sons to kill her.
None of his six sons except Parashuram could oblige. He immediately beheaded his mother.
The handle of the axe which he used, however, clung to his hand. Pleased with his son,
Jamadagni desired Parashuram to ask for any boon.
Parashuram asked six boons and one was for the immediate recovery of his mother.
However, this did not wipe out his sin.
He was told that the only way to wash off his sin was by taking a dip in the Brahma Kund.
Only then would the axe stuck to his hand drop.
Parashuram ultimately came to the Brahma Kund in present Lohit District and made a passage for the kund to come out by digging the bank of Brahma Kund.
The spot where the axe dropped from his hand came to be known as Parashuram Kund.
The Kalika Puram states that a mere bath in the kund leads to emancipation.
The waters of the kund are considered as sacred as the waters of the River Ganga. I
n the 18th century a sadhu re-established the site of Parashuram Kund.
The sadhu who came through Chowkham, as the story goes, was driven out from his village as he was looked upon as a swindler.
The villagers thereafter were afflicted with some unknown disease. Meanwhile the sadhu, had hidden himself in a cave around the kund away form the angry villagers.
The villagers came in search of him and offered him fruits and flowers and asked forgiveness.
The site of the Parashuram Kund as established by the sadhu was in existence till 1950 when the old site was completely changed by the earthquake that shook the whole of the North-East and the kund was completely covered
Festival falls on Makara Sankarnthi Day.(around 14,January)

We have been seeing, over the years, children attaining Puberty early.
Experts warn that it would hit the Age of Six.
Reason -Junk Food
Junk Food.
.
I have posted quite a number of blogs on the evils of Junk Food.
I have tried the Junk Food only once.
I was uncomfortable for a few Days.
To those who would attribute this to my age, I would like to state that I had it Abu Dhabi McDonald, when I was 38.
Read On.
The onset of puberty has fallen by more than five years in girls and experts believe junk food is to be blamed for this ‘ticking time-bomb‘.
Some girls are only six or seven when they have to cope with their first period and a recent US study has found that boys are also hitting physical maturity up to two years earlier than in the past, The Sun reported.
Scientists have also found that the average age for the onset of puberty in girls in 1860 was 16.6 years.
By 1920 it was 14.6, in 1950, 13.1, in 1980, 12.5 and in 2010 it had dropped to 10.5.
Experts fear this could lead to an increase in young girls getting pregnant.
Puberty is the process of body changes from the first signs of adolescence to full adult development.
It is brought about by a series of chemical signals, which are sent from the brain to the pituitary gland in the head, then from the pituitary to the sex glands, the ovaries in girls and the testicles in boys.
These in turn make the sex hormones – oestrogen in girls and testosterone in boys, which cause the physical changes of puberty.
Normal puberty takes from four to five years in both sexes but it starts earlier in girls than in boys.
Marcia Herman-Giddens, from the University of North Carolina where the latest research was carried out, claims obesity may well to be blame as it alters the body’s hormones- with some starting to show the first signs of maturity as young as six.
The average age for white and Hispanic boys is ten, while it is nine for black boys.
Tam Fry, honorary chairman of the UK’s Child Growth Foundation, has described this as a “ticking timebomb” for today’s society.
That Nehru was naive with Chou en Lai, vacillating and a puppet in the hands of V.K.Krishna Menon, people are aware.
This new evidence is shocking.
“There is no reason why the Indian Army cannot rise again and give a much better account of itself. I hope when the day comes, it happens under my escutcheon.
This was what Gen J N Chaudhuri wrote in a 40-page covering note while forwarding the Henderson Brooks-PS Bhagat report on the 1962 military debacle to the Defence Ministry…
The report was commissioned by Gen Chaudhuri, who took over as Army Chief after the war, as an internal Army report to look into just the conduct of military operations since hostilities began in early October 1962 till November 20 when China announced a unilateral ceasefire.
For the job, he picked Lt Gen Henderson Brooks who was GOC 11 Corps in Jalandhar and had not participated in the operations. The report was submitted in April 1963 and sent to the Defence Ministry with Chaudhuri’s detailed covering note….
Coming down heavily on the military leadership, the report is particularly critical of the then Chief of General Staff Lt Gen B M Kaul, who was made GOC of the newly created 4 Corps just before the war. He was based out of Tezpur, but was evacuated to Delhi on account of illness just as hostilities broke out in what was then called NEFA.
The report records him “dashing in and out” of his York Road (now Motilal Nehru Marg) residence, issuing orders from his bed, and the top brass letting him do so instead of finding a successor. These have all been cited as examples of poor generalship.
Similarly, a copy Kaul’s letter to Nehru at the height of the conflict, urging him to approach the Americans for assistance, has been mentioned and included in the annexures to underscore the loss of nerves among senior officers.
Significant space, sources said, has been given to the retreat of 4 Infantry Division which had been quickly reconstructed after the Namka Chu defeat and posted to defend the fallback line along the Se La-Senge-Dhirang axis in Arunachal Pradesh. This was after Tawang had been overrun by advancing Chinese forces. It was decided that this axis is where the Army would fight a dogged and prolonged defensive battle for which resources and logistics had been built up. The idea was that longer the campaign stretched, the more difficult it would get for the Chinese to sustain operations.’
But 4 Div withdrew without fighting, a fact that is officially confirmed and documented in the report. This entire episode of the “collapse and rout of the 4 Infantry Division” has been described in the report as “a shameful incident” of a “renowned division collapsing and retreating without putting up a fight”.
The Sunday Express has learnt that around four pages of this covering note focus on wartime Defence Minister V K Krishna Menon’s interference in military matters, particularly on the shuffling of senior generals in the run-up to the month-long war.
The covering note, according to sources aware of the contents of the report, is the only place where there is a comment on the political leadership of the Defence Ministry. There is no direct comment on then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru anywhere in the letter or in the report, which confines itself to the conduct of military operations.
The important revelatory aspect of the Brooks-Bhagat report is its conclusion that shortages in ammunition and equipment were not among the primary reasons for the defeat.
China has been quietly building a pressure area in the NorthEastern part of India,While encouraging Myanmar in its dictatorial ways,it is masterminding naxal/maoist activity in India, which extends from the North Eastern corridor of India, starting from Nagaland,Manipur,West Bengal,Assam, parts of Orissa,Chattisgarh, parts of Bihar,MP,UP,DANDAKAKARANYA,COASTAL BELT OF ANDHRA,EXTENDING TO NORTHERN PART OF TAMIL NADU( DHARMAPURI)Parts of Maharashtra and North Karnatka are also in the ring.
It is also laying claims to Arunachal pradesh ,which has no link what so ever with China, either geographically or culturally, stating that it does not recognise Mac Mohan Line. And now it is building a bridge across Brahmaputra. It is also controlling Maoists in Nepal. Its anti India rhetoric is shrill now.
India is being slowly surrounded.
The Govt. of India has not understood to the gravity of the situation and is pussyfooting with China. The insurgency of Maoists is far more serious and much more difficult to contain than Taliban. This shall become a festering flashpoint in the world map shortly, unless India and world powers wake up.
STORY.
While increasingly distrustful of China’s intentions, the government here on Thursday refrained from questioning Beijing’s denial that it
was engaged in constructing a dam on Brahmaputra which could impact ecology in the northeastern states.
Story;
‘Reacting to a fresh report questioning China’s denial, the MEA here said, “India and China agreed in November 2006 to establish an Expert Level Mechanism to discuss trans-border river issues in an institutional way. Three meetings have been held so far…. The Chinese side has categorically denied that there is a plan to build any such large scale diversion project on the Brahmaputra river.”
