If Andhra bifurcated, Rayalaseema wants go with Telangana

Leaders of the Rayalaseema region on Wednesday said it should be merged with Telangana if the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh becomes inevitable.

The leaders of various parties, who met in Hyderabad on Wednesday to chalk out their strategy to be adopted before Srikrishna Committee looking into the demand for and against separate Telangana state, strongly opposed bifurcation.

However, if the bifurcation becomes inevitable, Rayalaseema should be merged with Telangana, they felt.

Senior Congress legislator and former minister JC Diwakar Reddy said Rayalaseema would not get even a single drop of water without the consent of Telangana.

“Andhra region will have nothing to lose in the event of bifurcation but our interests will be affected,” he said.

India to create new southern state of Telengana-BBC.
Pandora’s box has been opened.Non development of some areas have led to this.Instead of dividing states based on Administrative convenience, dividing on the basis of language has been a folly.Ironically, the whole process of , I would call disintegration of India, was started by Potti SriRamulu of Andhra, the same state which is clamoring for another division.Instead of focusing on developing all regions, the govt.has neglected th areas.Solution is to develop all the areas.What is to prevent the politicians to ignore some areas in the newly formed state , which would call for another state?
Another reason is local politicians, who have become indispensable in the Federal Govt. in Delhi because of Coalition politics,would like smaller states where they can form the Govt. and have a say at the Center;added to this is the Maoists who have been fueling this division, especially in Andhra, where they control large chunks of territory.
Waiting in the pipe line for new states are;
Mithilanchal,Coorg,Saurashtra,Gorkha land,Budelkhand,Bhojpur,Cooch Bihar,Vidarba and Harit Pradesh.
Hindu scriptures list 64 states or principalities were in vogue .
May be we are honoring traditions.
The Indian government is to allow a new state to be carved out of part of the southern state of Andhra Pradesh.
Home Minister P Chidambaram said the process of forming Telangana state would begin soon. Campaigners say the region has long been neglected.
Supporters of the state are celebrating after days of violent protests. One of their leaders ended a hunger strike.
But many in India fear acceding to the protesters’ wishes could fuel demands for other new states across India.

Fate of Hyderabad?
KCR is supposed to have issued a second ultimatum to the effect that Telengana without Hyderabad is impossible.When you bend down to blackmailers , there is no end to it.Call his bluff.

Andhra MLAs resign protesting Telangana creation decision
When political parties want to come to power even at the cost of splitting the state,they should have thought of of these consequences.
The formation of Telengana has not only jeopardized the livelihood people of other parts of Andhra living in Twin Cities, it is also likely to breed animosity between the new state and the erstwhile AP.What is the fate of Twin cities? Will you form a new Union Territory?
Ridiculous to form a state for for about eight districts.
Maoists shall have a field day demanding something akin to a state for the areas controlled by them.You have opened a Pandora’s box.
Andhra Pradesh plunged into a fresh political crisis on Thursday with 60 MLAs from Congress, PRP and TDP from coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions and an MP belonging to Congress resigning in protest against the Centre’s decision to carve out a separate Telangana state.

Formation of Telengana.
While it is a fact that KCR is a politician resorting to gimmicks and has no real concern for Telengana, it is a fact in AP ,Telengana and Rayalaseema areas were neglected and continue to be neglected.If the centre wants to avoid breaking up of states( Do they really want to?),they should develop these regions and deal with rowdyism resorted to by KCR &Co. But the intention of all the political parties , seem to be gaining power at least in some pockets, even by dividing the states;it ill bodes for the country.BJP and Congress also fall under this category.

HYDERABAD: TRS leader K Chandrasekhara Rao’s life is in danger, as per the medical team monitoring his health at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical

Speaking to reporters, NIMS director B Prasada Rao said that KCR was not cooperating with the doctors for his treatment and said if he doesn’t discontinue his hunger strike, his life would be in danger.

Dr Prasada Rao said that while the medical team was artificially propping up his health, it has its own repercussions over a period of time.

KCR was being administered both saline and ‘total parental nutrition’ by the hospital but now doctors say that prolonged administration of IV fluids is leading to problems. Now, KCR is suffering from ‘hypoproteinemia’, as per doctors, which means low protein content in the blood and this reduces the resistance power of a person. Doctors say it is strongly advised KCR, who is suffering from this protein malnutrition, to take proper oral nutrition and reduce his dependence on the IV fluids as sources of nutrition. They said his general condition could worsen suddenly if he does not start taking food orally.
