  • Curd Pot Uri With Tamil Inscription Red Sea Port I BC

I have posted articles on the facts that,

The Tamils had a long and continuous interaction with Sanatana Dharma from the Vedic Times,

Tamil Kings were present during the Swayamvara of Damayanti,Sita and Draupadi,

Pot with Tamil Inscription I BC in Red Sea,jpg
Pot with Tamil Inscription I BC in Red Sea

    Arjuna married a Pandyan Princess,

Arjuna and Balarama were ona Pilgrimage to South India, with the latter worshiping Parashurama,

Krishna married a Pandyan princess and had a daughter by her.

Krishna attended the Tamil Sangam at Thenmadurai, whichwas later consumed bya Tsunami,

The Chera King Chearalaathan fed both the Kaurava and Pandava Army during the Mahabharata War.

    And much more.

So it is no surprise that Tamil wherever Sanatana Dharma went!

It is recorded that the Jews were the descendants of the Yadavas, Lord krishna’s Clan.

Interesting that The Jews were the descendants of the Yadavas, Lord Krishna’s Clan.

Twenty two tribes left India after the Mahabharata War.”

Now to Tamil artifact being found in Egypt.

A broken storage jar with inscriptions in Tamil Brahmi script has been excavated at Quseir-al-Qadim, an ancient port with a Roman settlement on the Red Sea coast of Egypt. This Tamil Brahmi script has been dated to first century B.C. One expert described this as an “exciting discovery.”
The same inscription is incised twice on the opposite sides of the jar. The inscription reads paanai oRi, that is, pot (suspended) in a rope net.
An archaeological team belonging to the University of Southampton in the U.K., comprising Prof. D. Peacock and Dr. L. Blue, who recently re-opened excavations at Quseir-al-Qadim in Egypt, discovered a fragmentary pottery vessel with inscriptions.
Dr. Roberta Tomber, a pottery specialist at the British Museum, London, identified the fragmentary vessel as a storage jar made in India.
Iravatham Mahadevan, a specialist in Tamil epigraphy, has confirmed that the inscription on the jar is in Tamil written in the Tamil Brahmi script of about first century B.C.
In deciphering the inscription, he has had the benefit of expert advice from Professor Y. Subbarayalu of the French Institute of Pondicherry, Professor K. Rajan of Central University, Puducherry and Professor  V. Selvakumar, Tamil University, Thanjavur.
According to Mr. Mahadevan, the inscription is quite legible and reads: paanai oRi, that is, ‘pot (suspended in) a rope net.’ The Tamil word uRi, which means rope network to suspend pots has the cognate oRi in Parji, a central Dravidian language, Mr. Mahadevan said. Still nearer, Kannada has oTTi, probably from an earlier oRRi with the same meaning.
The word occurring in the pottery inscription found at Quseir-al-Qadim can also be read as o(R)Ri as Tamil Brahmi inscriptions generally avoid doubling of consonants.
Earlier excavations at this site about 30 years ago yielded two pottery inscriptions in Tamil Brahmi belonging to the first century A.D.
Another Tamil Brahmi pottery inscription of the same period was found in 1995 at Berenike, also a Roman settlement, on the Red Sea coast of Egypt, Mr. Mahadevan said.”
Uri is a Pot which is hung by ropes to the ceiling for keeping Curds at Homes even today, especially in Brahmins Home.”
    Uri Adithal.jpg
English: this game used to play in any temple functions in Tamilnadu areas, which is called in tamil “URI ADITHAL”
Uri Adithal is a sport in Tamil Nadu  Temple Festivals when one is asked to hit a Pot filled with Money , either with eyes open or blid folded
    .
Legend has it that Lord Krishna used to follow this method to get Curds Milk, Butter from the Home of the Yadavas.

  • Modi Gujarat Riots Facts Lies Documents

In the Gujarat Riots Muslims were killed and Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Despite the Supreme Court giving a clean chit to Modi stating that there are no grounds to say that Narendra Modi was involved in the riots, stories

    abound on Gujarat Riot.

    Gujarat Riots and Modi.
    Narendra Mod and Gujarat Riots

Let’s see how valid are these spins.

    1.Spin-1.2000 Muslims were killed.

Fact-254 Hindus and 790 Muslims were killed

Government’s Reply in the Rajya Sabha.

The Central government on Wednesday informed the Rajya Sabha that 254 Hindus and 790 Muslims were killed in the post Godhra riots in Gujarat.

Minister of State for Home Affairs Sriprakash Jaiswal said a total of 223 people were reported missing, 2,548 sustained injuries during the riots in 2002.

He said the government paid Rs 1.5 lakh to the next of kin of each person killed and Rs 5,000, Rs 15,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 50,000 for the injured.

The amount for the injured was based on the extent of injury, the minister added.(rediffnews)-check Rajya Sabha records link.

    2.Only Muslims were butchered -Lie.

    Fact.

While Muslims were killed without provocation in Naroda Patiya,Gulbarg Society, Naroda Gram, Sadarpura, Ode and other places,Hindus were killed

unprovoked in Himmatnagar, Danilimda, and Sindhi Market and other areas of Ahmedabad,.

    3.Entire Gujarat was burning.

    Fact-

Out of the state’s 18,600 villages, 240 municipal towns, and 25 district headquarters, only 60 places saw riots.

If one includes the two big cities of Ahmedabad and Vadodara, by the wildest stretch of imagination, only 2 % of the state can be assumed to have been

burning. Only 40 out of the state’s 18,600 villages saw riots.

4.Police was indifferent and not deployed in full strength.

    Fact-

Ahmedabad has a police force of 6,000, including 1,500 armed personnel. In addition, the entire state has just four companies (530 jawans) of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) of which only one company could be spared for Ahmedabad. Considering that the mobs that simultaneously surfaced at nearly half a dozen places numbered from 2,000 to 10,000, the forces proved woefully inadequate. At one point on February 28 there were at least 25,000 people targeting the Muslim localities in Ahmedabad alone.”

    See link: http://www.indiatoday.com/itoday/20020318/cover.shtml

Even in its infamous article misquoting Narendra Modi as having said “Every action has equal and opposite reaction” (Which Narendra Modi never did),The Times of India reported, “The sparse police presence looked like a drop in the ocean of violence.”

This despite the deployment of the entire police forceThe Hindu also reported the next day that on 28 February “Mob fury reached its crescendo” and “The situation seemed to slip out of hand” and “Police were outnumbered by the rioters“. Same was the report of The TelegraphThe Tribune.

    5.Only Muslims were affected.

    Reality.

As early as 5 March 2002, out of the 98 relief/ refugee camps set up in the state, 85 were for the Muslims and 13 were for the Hindus. As on 17 March 2002, as per the report of a newspaper as anti-BJP as The Times of India, more than 10,000 Hindus were rendered homeless in Ahmedabad alone.

As on 25 April 2002, out of the 1 lakh 40 thousand refugees, some 1 lakh were Muslims and 40 thousand were Hindus.

None other than Times Now channel admitted in 2009 quoting from Agencies that 40,000 Hindus were also rendered homeless in the Gujarat riots, i.e. Muslims threw out as many as 40,000 Hindus in Gujarat even after Godhra, just like they did in Kashmir where lakhs of Hindus left the valley

    6.Sangh Parivar organized the Riots.

    Truth.

ed and the Rapid Action Force and the CRPF jawans could not control the violence. The Hindu also reported the next day that the situation seemed to slip out of control. Ahmedabad Police received 3,500 calls instead of the normal 200. It was beyond the means of the Sangh Parivar- or anybody to organise mobs on such a large-scale in Ahmedabad within 24 hours.

However, the VHP could have easily organised riots in many of the 10,000 villages inGujarat where it had units, either on February 28, or days after that.

On February 27 occurred the Godhra massacre. That same day the RSS gave a statement saying- “RSS condemns the killings and calls for restraint”. The Hindu also reported in its report on Feb 28 that the “RSS appealed to the people to exercise restraint”.

The then RSS Joint General Secretary Madan Das Devi said-“Now is the test of the patience of the Hindu society…These killings are a ploy of the terrorists to create riots…”. This was reported in weekly Organiser, the weekly mouthpiece of the RSS, in its issue dated 10 March 2002, which covered events till 27 February.  In the 10 March 2002 issue itself, two RSS leaders- Madan Das Devi and Mohan Bhagwat gave statement’s asking the Hindu society to maintain peace. The Telegraph reported on 28thFebruary 2002-

“The RSS rallied behind the Prime Minister, pleading for restraint. Joint general secretary Madan Das Devi said: “The tolerance of the Hindu society is a litmus test. Instead of taking the law into their hands, people should cooperate with the state government in dealing with the serious situation.”

  • Know Narendra Modi, Little Known Facts.

    Meet the Real Modi.

The biggest mystery of Narendra Modi’s life is his relationship status. The world knows him as a ‘bachelor’ but it has been contested by some of his critics who point out that he was once married to ‘Jashodaben’. A magazine published a story in 2009 that claimed Jashodaben to be Modi’s wife. The fact that Modi never contested the facts of the story gives credence to the content of the article. The woman in question is a school teacher and  lives in Rajosana village of Banaskantha district. She is said to be married when she was 18. She had studied up to class VIIII only and that is supposed to have spoiled their relationship. It is said that Jashodaben does not like to be photographed as she believes she is not good looking. Not only this, she is conscious of Modi’s high position and does not want to create any embarrassment to Modi although she is hopeful that someday Modi will come to her and publicly accept her as his wife.

Narendra Modi is a patriot since childhood. During Indo-Pak war of 1965, Modi, as a 15 year old boy, volunteered to serve the soldiers in transit at the railway stations. Similarly, in 1967 at an age of 17 years, he served the flood affected people of Gujarat.

Modi was born in an OBC family of grocers in Vadnagar of Gujarat. Modi wanted to become a sanyasi when he was a child. In fact, he was always fascinated with Sadhus, different forms of worship and meditation. He ran away from home after completing his school education. He visited many places including Ramkrishna Ashram of Belur in West Bengal. Finally, he reached Himalayas and wandered aimlessly and stayed with unknown but yogic Sadhus for months.

After returning from Himalayas, Modi ran a tea stall with his brother at the State Transport Office in Ahmedabad. Modi sold tea for many years. That was the time when Modi learnt what hardship really meant. It made him more determined and resolute in his approach towards life.

    2012/politicsinternational/sep/m7.jpg
    Modi with his Mother.

Narendra Modi is very particular about his appearance in public. He prefers trimmed beard and hair. As for his clothes, his favourite cloth store used to be Jade Blue of Ahmedabad. He ensures that he looks elegant whenever he moves out.

Narendra Modi has done a three-month course in US on public relations and image management. This could be one reason why he has succeeded in positioning himself as one of the most affable and sought after politicians in India.

Narendra Modi adores his mother and never forgets to take her blessings whenever he undertakes any new initiative- political or otherwise. In fact, she is his only closest relation. He has got all traditional virtues of an Indian man. He  is a teetotaler. He doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke. He is a complete vegetarian. In nut-shell, he is miles away from even minor vices.

Women all over India and cutting over age bracket adore Modi. In his home state, he is seen as a sex symbol among women. A close look at his public meetings makes it abundantly clear that women outnumber men among attendees. Analysts say this is mainly because of his emperor like image exuding absolute power and authority.

Modi is a prolific writer and poet.He writes in Gujarati language and his favourite topics include life and teachings of Hindutva icons. Narendra Modi is a big fan of Swami Vivekananda. His most recent election campaign was christened as ‘Vivekanand Yuva Vikas Yatra’.

Narendra Modi is not liked by the sister organisations of BJP like ‘VHP’ and ‘Bajrang Dal’. The hatred is so intense that ‘sangh parivar’ outfits are said to be working tirelessly to overthrow his government in upcoming assembly elections.

The concept of vehicle pooling was prevalent in metro cities. I launched the website in Ahmedabad in June last year with aim of reducing people’s fuel costs and promoting environmental cause. Also, it helps people in networking and making new friends. Once the user uploads his route and requirements, we provide him with matching profiles. He can contact them directly and discuss further details,” said Suresh Purohit, an entrepreneur who started http://www.olivetrips.com that offers car pooling service for free.

About 275 Gujaratis are availing benefits of vehicle sharing through his site and the number is increasing every month.

Purohit, an MBA graduate said that trend of vehicle pooling will pick up faster when people know about such website and understand benefits of sharing system.

City-based entrepreneur Ruchira Choudhuri Saikia has gone a step ahead and introduced the concept of socializing through vehicle pooling website.

“We are introducing chat, video and status update facilities on our website (www.greenyatri.com) that will be launched within a month. Those logging onto the website can find partners for vehicle pooling, chat with other users and work out the sharing plans. Also, they can upload videos or pictures related to traffic issues in the city. The experience will be similar to some popular networking sites,” Ruchira told TOI.

Their focus is to reduce environment pollution and congestion on roads.”

  • Senior Live-in Relationship, Prostitution in another Garb

The Live-in Mela for Senior citizens was conducted in Ahmedabad,India in 2010 and the response was so huge that people had to be sent back from the Hall!

Four months later, out of 200 people who had decided to Live-in, only two were found to be together!

In one case, the man had to enter into an agreement that he will pay the woman Rs.8000/month.

In yet another case,  a man travelled  with a woman once and the woman went out.

He left her saying she was fat.

Seniors of this kind can not be called seniors, excepting by Age,must know that if they can not live with whom he /she has lived for years together, they can not hope to live with a stranger whom they had met for a few hours and who have the same problems.

Relation ship consists in adjusting with one another and it does not grow if one were to look for beauty and perfection in the partner.

Those who have lost their spouse must realize,at least in the autumn of their Life, that we are born alone and shall go alone.

    One has to accept that.

The alternative is that one has to shoulder the responsibility that comes in with a relationship.

    You can not remain irresponsible.

    What do these people expect?

    Money,emotional security,servant maid,sex?

Sad aspect is that women, even at this age, are more focussed on money!

Live-in for Seniors, seems to m a garb for prostitution.

Younger generation seems to like this concept.

They shall know that it does not lead to emotional security, probably could give them sex with out Familial commitment.

PS. Another mela for senior citizens was at Nagpur on on Jan 2012 .

“Live-in is in with the seniors, but only as an aspiration! The live-in mela for senior citizens that was held in Ahmedabad on November 20, 2011 had created a lot of buzz with nearly 400 grandpas and grandmas looking for a partner in the dusk of their lives. Over 400 silvers – 300 men and 100 women over 50 year of agehad descended upon the city from all over the country to take part in the first-ever public function held to help seniors find live in partners. Nearly 200 men had to be turned away from the venue as the hall was choc-a-bloc and there was no further room. Seven couples committed on the spot.

Four-odd months later, only two of the couples have actually started living together. Ironically, after finding each other on a public platform, both want to remain anonymous. The couples cite social reasons not to disclose the fact that there are staying together without getting into the complications of marriage!

A 55-year old woman and 62-year old Patel man have started staying together in Himmatnagar. They entered into a pre-live-in agreement where the woman would get a monthly cheque of Rs 8,000. Meanwhile, a 48-year old Punjabi woman has signed live-in agreement with 65-year old Vadodara based man.

“The rest backed out for different reasons. One gentleman went out with the lady to watch movies, eat and later when she dropped him at the airport, he called me saying the woman was fat.”
