  • The Bible Christ Shroud Of Turin, Myths

There is a widely  held belief that the Christians were persecuted from The days of Christ and the point is stressed and reinforced by Christian Literature.

    The three facts(?)of Christianity.

    Christ did not exist.

‘The Christ myth theory (also known as Jesus myth theory or Jesus mythicism) is a range of arguments that question the existence of Jesus of Nazareth or the entirety of his life story as described in the Christian gospels.[1][2][3][4] The most sweeping version of the myth theories contends that there was no real historical figure Jesus and that he was invented by early Christians. Another variant holds that there was a person called Jesus, but almost all teachings and miracles attributed to him were either invented or symbolic references. Yet another version suggests that the Jesus portrayed in the New Testament is a composite character constructed from multiple people over a period of time..

    Historical Evidence.

The historical Proof for the existence of Christ is very thin.

    Jesus Christ.
    Christ.
    1. “Jesus never existed: The gospels describe a virtually, and perhaps entirely, fictitious person. There are no grounds for supposing that any aspect of the Jesus narrative is rooted in history.
    2. Jesus existed but little is known about him: There is enough historical evidence to conclude that Jesus existed, but the reports are so unreliable that very little can be said about his life and teachings with confidence.
    3. Jesus existed and we can know about him: Historical research can reveal a core of historical facts about Jesus, but he is often different from the portrayals in the New Testament. Many of the sayings and miracles attributed to him are likely to be myths.
    4. The gospels present a mostly historical Jesus: When the New Testament accounts are compared with other sources they provide a by and large reliable historical portrait of Jesus, and critical historiography should not rule out the possibility of supernatural occurrences.”

So much for the founder of Christianity.

    The Bible.

The Bible was composed nearly after three years after the death of Christ(?) by Constantine by assembling a Conclave of Cardinals   an analysis of over three hundred versions of the would be Bible and the one that would suit the policies of Constantine to consolidate his Empire was chosen.

    Not only that.

Constantine too became a Christian Convert to hold on to his Kingdom.

The New Testament , of  King James’s version was more of a retort to the Pope., because he did not give permission to King James to marry Anne Boleyn.

“The First Council of Nicaea was convened by Emperor Constantine the Great upon the recommendations of a synod led by Hosius of Córdoba in the Eastertide of 325. This synod had been charged with investigation of the trouble brought about by the Arian controversy in the Greek-speaking east.[16] To most bishops, the teachings of Arius were heretical and dangerous to the salvation of souls. In the summer of 325, the bishops of all provinces were summoned to Nicaea (now known as İznik, in modern-day Turkey), a place easily accessible to the majority of delegates, particularly those of Asia MinorGeorgiaArmeniaSyriaPalestineEgyptGreece, and Thrace.

This was the first general council in the history of the Church since the Apostolic Council of Jerusalem, the Apostolic council having established the conditions upon which Gentiles could join the Church.[17] In the Council of Nicaea, “The Church had taken her first great step to define doctrine more precisely in response to a challenge from a heretical theology.”[18]

Constantine also established the Church, the temporal Authority to consolidate his Kingdom.

    The Shroud of Turin.

The Shroud of Turin, believed to be the cloth that was used to wrap the body of Crucified christ.
    The Shroud of Turin.

The Shroud of Turin was believed to be  the cloth that was used to wrap the body of Christ after he was crucified.

Carbon Dating established beyond doubt that the Cloth belonged to the 13th Century AD!

‘The Shroud of Turin, a linen cloth commonly associated with the crucifixion and burial of Jesus Christ, has undergone numerous scientific tests, the most notable of which is radiocarbon dating, in an attempt to determine the relic‘s authenticity. In 1988, scientists at three separate laboratories dated samples from the Shroud to a range of 1260–1390CE, which coincides with the first appearance of the shroud in France in the 1350s.[1]

These results are generally accepted by the scientific community. This dating has been questioned by some, and doubts have been raised in particular regarding the representivity of the sample that was taken for testing.”

This is how th early Christianity was conceived , more as a Political tool.

Even the hunting down  of Christ and eventual Crucifixion was more of a Political Act, the charge was Sedition!

Now onto the persecution of Christians.

  • Meet Billionaire Bishop,True Follower of Christ!

We know that the Churches are run like Corporate.

The Vatican has a Budget for Religious Conversion.

This is cloaked under various Heads as  Donations, Medicare, orphanage maintenance and the like.

Protestants openly do it in the Evangelicalism.

Religious Conversion by Carrot is the norm’

Targets are set for the Priests for this Noble venture and they are compensated as in a Corporate, by Money, promotions(?!).

In addition, these Saviors called Priests raise funds from the laity.

    And they amass wealth.

    How much?

Meet ,Edir Macedo, Brazil’s Billionaire Bishop.

    Edir Macedo, Brazil's Billionaire Bishop
    Edir Macedo, Brazil’s Billionaire Bishop

He has more than 5 million followers, whose donations over the last 36 years have made him a billionaire..

“In Brazil, where he was born and raised, he is a major national figure, the subject of dozens of criminal inquiries, and the owner of Rádio & Televisão Record, a media conglomerate that runs the country’s second-largest television network. He is known to most everyone by the title he created for himself: He is O Bispo—“The Bishop.” Macedo is the founder of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, a Pentecostal denomination specializing in prosperity theology, which links faith to financial success. He preaches twice a week, often in two different cities, and the sermons are fervently watched on church websites, his Facebook page, and the miniature TV sets that Brazilian taxi drivers like to keep on their dashboard. Now and then he holds outdoor events that draw crowds of half a million. In February he addressed 5,000 of his parishioners at one of his churches in Belo Horizonte, in southeastern Brazil. High overhead, a stained-glass cross lit by fluorescent bulbs took up most of the ceiling while a theater-size screen blew him up for the pews in the back. He paced back and forth on the stage, explaining the intersection of God and money. “Which is the largest country in the world, economically speaking? It’s America, the United States. Do you know why? Because way back—this is history, you can look it up on the Internet—the colonization was done by men who believed in the word of God. And they were tithers,” he said. “That’s why you see on the dollar bill: ‘In God we trust.’ ”

In Macedo’s teaching, tithing, or giving 10 percent of your income to the church, is a mandate from God…

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index estimates his wealth at $1.2 billion, entirely because of his ownership of Rádio & Televisão Record. The conglomerate’s namesake TV network produces standard commercial fare: telenovelas (sometimes Biblical), sex-infused reality shows, and journalism that dwells on grisly crimes. Record also runs a cable news channel, a handful of radio stations, three newspapers, a film-production company, and even a small bank, as well as cable and satellite units scattered around the world.

Macedo purchased Record, then just a debt-ridden TV network, in 1989 for $45 million. The transaction led to an investigation by Brazil’s tax agency, which found that he’d used interest-free loans from the Universal Church to fund it, and fined him for failing to declare the loans as income. In his defense, Macedo said he’d bought Record on behalf of the church to create the country’s first evangelical TV network.”

  • Bishops Steal Over $ 52 Millions

I was reading a Book by John Grisham , ‘A Time To Kill”(He also authored ‘The pelican Brief and The Firm, both were filmed).

It is a story about  a Black being sent to the gallows for a murdering two rapists who raped his small daughter.

The Book deals with American White Black Problem .’Law  among other things.

There is a character in the story, a Bishop who tries to steal the Funds,$ 6000, he collected for the Accused.

I was wondering whether some body would become so low in Life., though I am aware of the swindles by the Church and some Bishops. But individually the the rake of by a Bishop may not come anywhere  near a %2 Million Dollar swindled by Martin Sigillito—a bishop in the American Anglican Convocation and a St. Louis attorney—convinced 200-plus people to do more than just consider it: they actually entrusted him with their money to invest in a financial venture. But this venture turned out to be an old-fashioned Ponzi scheme, and in April of this year, Sigillito was convicted of leading a conspiracy that swindled $52 million from victim investors

One of the United Kingdom hotel properties that victims of Martin Sigillito’s Ponzi scheme thought they were investing in.

He is an Attorney as well.

I am also providing Links at the end of the post some scams by the Clergy(from The FBI Files) as well.

    Please search the FBI site.

    Well , Men of God!?

    Story:

How the scam began. In late 2000, Sigillito opened a law office but didn’t actually practice law—instead, he advertised his “international business consulting services.” One of the “services” he offered was participation in the British Lending Program (BLP), transformed by Sigillito into a Ponzi scheme. Through the BLP, investors could “loan” money to a real estate developer in the United Kingdom for short periods of time, mostly one year, at high rates of return—between 10 and 48 percent.

This real estate developer, according to Sigillito, had a knack for spotting undervalued properties he could flip for a profit, had options on land that would become valuable when re-zoned, and had inside connections with British authorities. It sounded like a win-win for investors.

Unfortunately, this British developer was not the wunderkind Sigillito made him out to be—he was just another link in the criminal conspiracy.

How did Sigillito convince his investors to part with their money? He exploited his personal ties to people and particular groups he was affiliated with—like his church, social clubs, professional acquaintances, family, and neighbors—in a technique known as affinity fraud. He also held himself up as an expert in international law and finance and claimed he was a lecturer at Oxford University in England (when in reality he had simply taken part in a summer legal program at Oxford).

  • Christianity Converts Even During Obituary

I received an email from The American Hindu Association.

It is disgusting to see proselytization even after death.

What do they gain by numbers?

It shows the weakness of Religion.

Do they mean to imply that Christianity would like to have dead followers?

Please read my posts under Christianity.

Watch the Video of a western woman on Hinduism.

Seems to know the fundamentals correct, I am not sure how many Hindus have this fundamental grasp of Hinduism.

There are some sane people too.

    Christian Conversion
    Christian Conversion

    The Forward.

UNITED STATES, March 24, 2013 (Huffington Post, by Anantanand Rambachan): We recently lost a beloved family elder. He lived out his life within the structures of meaning and ritual provided by the Hindu tradition. These guided his commitment to work, his devotion to family, and his sense of justice. The beginning and the end of his life were marked by traditional Hindu ceremonies. He was a paragon of fidelity and a repository of rich life experiences that he shared passionately in stories with receptive grandchildren. The Hindu tradition is still domestic centered. Since funeral ceremonies are performed at home, it is customary, in Hindu obituaries, to mention the address, identify the funeral ritual as Hindu and specify the place of cremation.

We received many cards, notes and letters of sympathy in the days following the funeral ceremony. There were several, however, from persons whose names and addresses we did not recognize. Each one was structured in a similar way. The writer opened with words of sympathy, making mention of many personal details from the obituary. This was followed by Biblical texts about the way to eternal life and reunion with loved ones. The letters spoke of punishment for unbelievers but also of the promise of salvation from effects of sin “through the ransom sacrifice of …Jesus Christ.” The letters included published Christian literature. We quickly realized that these Christian letter-writers searched newspaper obituaries with the aim of identifying families belonging to other religious traditions with the aim of proselytization. We learned also that this was not unusual and that Hindus experiencing death in their families regularly received such invitations to convert.

Some Christians, like these letter writers, assume a religious need in the other for Christianity and make no effort to understand the religious life of the other. They conclude wrongly that traditions other than Christianity have no good resources and insights for helping their practitioners understand and cope with the loss of a loved one and they appeal to fear of punishment as a basis for religious commitment. They are driven by their need to convert the other and not by the need of the other for conversion. Christians will understand better our discomfort by taking our places and imagining themselves as recipients of invitations, from Hindus, to convert in the midst of grief for a loved one.

What troubled me also about this effort to proselytize is the undisguised attempt to exploit what they saw as an occasion of emotional vulnerability resulting from our grief. Such exploitation is not dissimilar to proselytization in circumstances of poverty or in situations of natural disaster that we witnessed, for example, on the occasion of the Asian tsunami. Grief-evangelism, as I choose to describe what we experienced, is similar to aid-evangelism and both need to be vigorously repudiated by people of all religions. There are many good reasons for reading obituaries. Trolling for opportunities to proselytize is not among the good ones.

    Adopting Hinduism–Youtube Video

UNITED STATES, September 4, 2012 (YouTube): Raised Catholic, and considering herself spiritual for many years, Danielle decided to convert to Hinduism at age 16. The name Gauri Maheshwari was given to Danielle by one of the priests at the temple upon her decision to be a Hindu.

Hinduism is a way of life for Danielle. In fact, it is the very essence of life and gives her purpose in all she does. It makes her a kinder, gentler person because she realizes that God is in everyone and so she must treat people the way she would treat God. Danielle worships in her puja room at home and at the Hindu Temple in St. Louis.

In this 30 minute interesting and well-made video, Gauri articulately explains her views on Hinduism, religion, beliefs, adopting Hinduism and more. At the time of the interview she is 18 years old.

  • Islam’s Treatment Converts From and TO Other Religions,

Islam and Christianity are touted to be Religions of Equality and their oft touted USP is that all are treated equally in their religions.

I know for a fact that Those who convert to Christianity are not treated equally.

We do witness special Churches for the converts , especially for those from the SC ,ST community.

There are also instances in Tamil Nadu where the Dalit Christians(how they remain Dalits after Joining Christianity I can not fathom!) have revolted against the Church for not treating them equally with others.

One also witnesses the specter of severe infighting for plum post in Churches like the CSI between the Sc/ST Group and the others!

.Normally the former hold all posts.

A Syrian Christian from Kerala would never dream of allowing matrimony with the other groups.

Not to forget the Protestant and Catholic feuds.

For a religion of equality and tolerance, you have so many divisions among them one is at a loss to keep track of them!

    Roman Catholics,Syrian Christian,Greek Orthodox,Armenia,Protestantism,s,Anglicanism, Pentecostalism,Seventh day Adventists,Calvinism…..

    Islam is no different.

    Shia, Sunni takes the cake.

They fight each other more  than with others.

Even the mosques are separate for Converts.

the same problem with SC/ST converts.

Like Christians they would not marry with them.

I was curious whether my impressions are biased and checked the internet.

    This is  a sample result.

    3. Conversion from Christianity to Islam

In 17 October 2012 correspondence with the Research Directorate, the senior research fellow at the Institute of African Studies at the University of Nigeria provided the information contained in the following paragraph with regard to the Igbo community.

The senior research fellow said that dominant Christian Igbo community in the East “display[s] intolerance towards conversion to Islam.” The Igbo view Hausa-Fulani men as “ritually unclean” as they are usually not circumcised. He added that Igbos may display “aggressive defence” of the Christian faith and conduct evangelical activities among the Hausa -Fulani. In the senior research fellow’s opinion, “[t]o the Igbo and Hausa-Fulani … interreligious conversion between them amounts to a case of extreme religious apostasy and a virulent rebellion against their respective communities.” However, he also stated that the Igbo situation represents “the extreme of intolerance towards conversion to Islam” in Nigeria. He also indicated that while conversion from Christianity to Islam is encouraged by the Hausa-Fulani, new Christian converts find it difficult to integrate fully into the community. Some traditional Muslims may regard new converts from Christianity to Islam with “suppressed disdain”; this, claims the senior research fellow, is illustrated by the unwritten policy that prevent new converts from Christianity to Islam from taking important roles within the community. For instance, the Hausa-Fulani consider that no convert from outside their customary group should be either an Imam or Qadi [Sharia judge]. Corroborating information could not be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate within the time constraints of this Response. The senior research fellow expressed the opinion that, based on their interpretation of the Quran, “most traditional Muslims” perceive new converts from Christianity as “unreliable members” of the Muslim community. Corroborating information or information pertaining to other Christian communities in Nigeria could not be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate within the time constraints of this Response…..

    Conversion from Islam to Christianity.

In 17 October 2012 correspondence with the Research Directorate, the senior research fellow at the Institute of African Studies at the University of Nigeria provided the information contained in the following paragraph.

The Hausa-Fulani and related groups located in the north of Nigeria rely on the “Arab world” for “religious, socio-cultural and political inspirations.” This means that they may see themselves as “the bastion of opposition against the spread of Christianity and Western culture in Nigeria.” Since the leaders of the Hausa-Fulani community view with “grave concern” the “increasing Western influence” among their people, conversion from Islam to Christianity by their members is also regarded as a “treasonable act.” Those who convert are “ostracized” by members of their community and cease to benefit from the protection and patronage from both the government of their states and Muslim kinsmen, and are, therefore, “prone to [en]danger their lives.” Corroborating information could not be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate within the time constraints of this Response. The senior research fellow expressed the opinion that “the Hausa-Fulani presents an extreme situation in Muslim intolerance to Christianity” in Nigeria.

Treatment of Muslims converted from Islam to Christianity.

if an ex-Muslim who has converted to Christianity is considered by his Muslim family, friends, and fellow Muslims to be an ‘Islamophobe’ for his criticism of the God of Islam, Allah, and for calling the ideology of Islam and the Qur’an the biggest lie in history? Al Qaeda thinks that and worse: it has called the words and actions of Mosab Hassan Yousef a crime punishable by death… and that is just for his conversion from Islam to Christianity.

Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of one of the cofounders of Hamas, once president of the Islamic Youth Movement and now considered by many followers of the Qur’an to be a traitor, has clearly been on a mission since 2007: to shake up the billions of believers of Islamic ideology with his seditious interviews, speeches, and writings… including this 11 minute video in which he does just that.

In this video, Yousef is clearly talking to both Muslims and non-Muslims as he crusades to expose what he believes is the core issue of Islam that finally made him leave.

“The problem is in the God of Islam. This is shocking, and unfortunately this is a reality about this God. He is a God of torture, he’s a deceit God. This is what he talks about himself. Every Muslim who reads the Qur’an and allows themselves to listen to this Qur’an and believe at the same time this is from God, I think they are sick and they need help.”

    ….

Interviewer: “They torture and they kill people in the jail? Their own people?”

Yousef: “Yes, they tortured and killed their own people… They put needles under the fingernails. Hamas leaders that we see on the TV now, and big leaders, were responsible for torturing their own members.”

The fact is that Yousef witnessed Muslims being tortured in Arab prisons and atrocities committed by Hamas against their brethren. Then, while captive in an Israeli jail along with his father, Yousef experienced humane treatment by his lifelong enemies, the Israelis. This was a stark comparison which made him vulnerable to becoming one of the top informers for Israel’s Shin Bet for over a decade… and led finally to his conversion to Christianity. He has been one of the faithful living in California since 2007.

Yousef states: “What I am trying to tell you… Your problem, my problem, the world’s problem is not with Muslims. The majority of Muslims are great and wonderful people. They are my people. I know their pain, I know suffering and I know their hearts… We are comparing Ideologies.”

He continues: “Islam as a religion in general is a lie wrapped with some facts and truths and I am talking this with authority of somebody who understands exactly what Islam is all about. And it’s the biggest lie in history, in my opinion. And this is the biggest danger: that about a quarter population of earth believe that this is a religion from God.”

In one comment Yousef explains how the Qur’an is interpreted and twisted to be just what one wants it to be. “What Muslims, Muslim sheiks or religious people do is that they focus only on one part of Islam that they need at a time. If it’s a wartime zone they are talking about Jihad. They bring up the verses that apply. It’s like a very political religion and this way I found out that Islam is the most bi-polar religion on Earth. That you can find anything you want.”
