  • GOD Proof By Biology Mathematics Computer

I have posted quite a few articles on Religion,Reason,Rationality,Philosophy,Reality and of course God.

While some insist there is God, some declare the Concept as Non sense.

The latter say that it is the lack of Proof.

    Proof for God.
    God- Proof

What is the Proof we are talking about?

As of now we have some instruments of Knowledge.

They are Perception, Inference,Intuition,Faith, Testimony and Logic.

Curiously, Proof for the Existence of God has been provided under all these categories.

    Perception.

    God Seen.

    In A Hospital.

    Recollection from Near Death Experience.

According to Dr. Steven Laureys, a Belgian neurologist who heads the Coma Science Group at the university hospital in the city of Liege (Belgium), has spoken to many patients over the years who have awakened from a coma and told him about “journeys” they have been on during the near-death experience.

The team, which was made up of scientists from the Coma Science Group and the University’s Cognitive Psychology Research Uni, conducted Memory Characteristics Questionnaires, which test for the sensory and emotional details in recollections. They then compared near-death experiences with other memories of intense real-life events, as well as memories of dreams and thoughts. However, the scientists were surprised to find that near-death experiences were much richer than any imagined or real event, including births and marriages.

On April 10, 2013, Dr. Laureys told CNN that patients in intensive care are often scared to tell their stories of near-death experiences, as they are afraid that people won’t take them seriously; but people who go on the journeys can be forever changed, with some no longer fearing death.

The questionnaire asked survivors about how certain they were that a remembered experience was a real event. Dr. Laureys, who believes that the experiences originate in human physiology, said, “They (the patients) are very convinced that it is real.”
It has also been discovered that it is enough just to think you’re dying to have a memory of a near-death experience.

The study said, “Many individuals having had NDEs were not physically in danger of death suggesting that the perception, on its own, of the risk of death seems to be important in eliciting NDEs.”

Laureys doesn’t want to speculate on the existence of Heaven or Hell, but he does say that only a small minority of near-death experiences are horrifying. Most of them are pleasant and uplifting. From his accounts, it sounds like more people go to “Heaven” than “Hell.

There are more cases which can be checked out in the web.

    God Exists, Biology.

In his mind, Dr. Collins admitted that the science, which he loved so much, was powerless to answer the following questions:”What is the meaning of life?” “Why am I here?” “Why does mathematics work, anyway?” “If the universe had a beginning, who created it?” “Why are the physical constants in the universe so finely tuned to allow the possibility of complex life forms?” “Why do humans have a moral sense?” “What happens after we die?”

Dr. Collins always assumed that faith was based on purely emotional and irrational arguments, and was astounded to discover, initially in the writings of the Oxford scholar C.S. Lewis and subsequently from many other sources, that one could build a very strong case for the plausibility of the existence of God on purely rational grounds.

Actually, Dr. Collins says that he finds no conflict here. Yes, he also claims evolution by descent from a common ancestor is clearly true. He affirms that if there was any lingering doubt about the evidence from the fossil record, then the study of DNA provides the strongest possible proof of our relatedness to all other living things.

According to Dr. Collins’ words, he found that there is a wonderful harmony in the complementary truths of science and faith. The God of the Bible is also the God of the genome. God can be found in the cathedral or in the laboratory. By investigating God’s majestic and awesome creation, science can actually be a means of worship.

    God Proved by Mathematics.

When Gödel died in 1978, he left behind a tantalizing theory based on principles of modal logic, a type of formal logic that, narrowly defined, involves the use of the expressions “necessarily” and “possibly,” according to Stanford University. So the theorem says that God, or a supreme being, is that for which no greater can be conceived. God exists in the understanding. If God exists in the understanding, we could imagine Him to be greater by existing in reality. Therefore, God must exist.

    God Proved by Computer .

Using an ordinary MacBook computer, they have shown that Gödel’s proof was correct, at least on a mathematical level, by way of higher modal logic.

In their initial submission on a research server, “Formalization, Mechanization, and Automation of Gödel’s Proof of God’s Existence,” the pair say that “Goedel’s ontological proof has been analysed for the first-time with an unprecedented degree of detail and formality with the help of higher-order theorem provers.”

But unsurprisingly, there is a rather significant caveat to that claim. In fact, what the researchers in question say they have actually proven is a theorem which was put forward by the renowned Gödel, and the real news isn’t about a Supreme Being, but rather what can now be achieved in scientific fields using superior technology. The mathematicians say that their proof of Gödel’s axioms has more to do with demonstrating how superior technology can help bring about new achievements in science.

Benzmüller and Paleo believe that their work can benefit areas such as artificial intelligence and the verification of software and hardware.

I have quoted from sources in this article and I will post on how God is proved by Indian Philosophy through Intuition,Faith,Logic and Personal experience.

  • God Will Never Die.

In Human History discoveries have been made in all walks of life.

    Katha Upanishad
    Kathopanishad Verse, Image source.http://www.shraddhananda.com/A_Poetic_Description_of_Universe_Purusha_Suktam.html

    Theories are floated.

They are revised in the light of new evidence, old theories are discarded.

The Earth was assumed to be Center of the Universe.

Moon was considered to be Divine, stars beyond human reach.

We can go on adding to the list where old theories were revised and the  old theories are dead once and for all.

The same applies to all Arts and Sciences.

    Except One.

    The Theory on God.

While enlightenment(?) has induced man to accept new theories, discarding old thoughts, the concept of God and the debate does not seem to die.

If as Atheists were to be believed, God does not exist.

For some atheists the Universe is an accident.

For some it is Universal Law and it has nothing to do with God.

    Some say it is Nature.

I do not know what they mean by Nature.

    Is it Tree, Mountains,Forests?

If . as the Atheists proclaim, the concept of God  is incorrect and wrong, then the concept of God should have died a natural death.

    This is not the case.

We have arguments for and against God is still going on.

We do not cling to the Theory that earth is the center of the universe any longer.

But we do not, at least most, do not, disavow the Theory of God.

Keeping my skepticism about Science aside for a moment on its infallibility,I am accepting Science for the present post.

If as certain as it is in Science, God concept should have been buried long back

    Why did it not?

Earlier human beings, were in fear of everything, right from water, fire. lightening, darkness et al.

A he gained knowledge his apprehensions disappeared when he could explain these things.

Once explained, he is not concerned for to his comfort he has found a reason.

But one forgets mere explaining can not make things go away.

But Modern Man, under his arrogance of knowledge thinks he has over come all these fears.

    Fact is He can not.

Watch Human reactions in times of  Natural Disaster and unexplained personal  loss  or calamity.

When things go well in life, every thing is under his control

    Come disaster, he gets shaky.

One reason is  the fear of the unexpected , unknown and the inevitable and Death.

Another reason is that Man, by Nature seeks something , even when he thinks he has every thing material.

But the urge to know persists.

So long as these attributes of Man remain,God will Not Die.

  • Concept Of God In India Vedas Other Systems

    All In One, Virat Rupa

Hinduism and in India The concept of God is wide and varied.

Broadly speaking Indian Thought is classified into two groups.

    The Astika and The Nastika.

Astika (means who is devoted) Systems are those which believe in the authenticity of the Vedas and take them as the founding facts, Axioms, they are not questioned,

Under these categories come  The Vedas, containing Brahmnanas,Arnayakas Uoanishads, The Bhagavd Gita , Brahma Sutra.

Of these the Vedas, The Bhagavad Gita and the Brahma Sutra are called The Three Jewels, Ratna Traya.

These are unwavering in their adherence to The Vedas.

Puranas , signifying very old, are only supplementary to these.

If there are any conflicts between the Vedas and the Puranas, Views of the Vedas shall prevail.

The Vedas are called Sruthis, learnt by being heard, not written.

The others are called Smritis, learnt by memory, indicating historical events recorded and recollected..

Under these Astika System the Concept of God is not uniform.

While the Vedas and the others believe in the existence of God,Theistic the other Astika systems like Nyaya, Vaishesika  Samkhya and Purva Mimamsa are Atheistic, though all of  them accept the Vedas as the Authority.

So we have these  systems in the Astika group.

    Nyaya,

    Vaishesika,

    Samkhya,

    Mimasa(Purva Mimasa) and

    Uttara Mimasa, The Upanishads.

On the other hand we have the Nastika Sytems,( means denial of God) are those which do not believe in the authority of The Vedas.

    Under this we have,

    The Carvakas,

    Buddhism and

    Jainism.

While Buddhism and Jainism do not accept the authorit of The Vedas, they follow the Theory of Karma of the Vedas in a great detail.

While the Carvakas reject out right the Concept of God, Buddhism and Jainism are not as vehement in their  denial of  God.

The name and attributes of the God  are changed.

While decrying worship of idols(in fact this was one of their main grouse against Hinduism of The Vedas,) they ended up worshiping their Founders, The Buddha and Mahavira.

In the case of Mahavira, The Jainism go back to the previous births of Samkhya Muni and worship the Adi Mahavir.

Now lets us see what the Vedas and Upanishads say on the concept of God.

    The Vedas.

The Vedas contain the concepts of God as Non Dulaism, Qualified Non Dualism, Dualism_Advaita, Visistsadvaita, and Dvaita.

    Apart from this, we have,

    Polytheism,(worship of many deities).

    Monotheis(worship of One God)

Henotheism where on God is praised at the cost of another.

Under Polyheism/Henotheism, we have Varuna, Agni,Vayu,Aditya Maruts Indra Yama,Kubera, Vaiswanara,Prithv,i Brahma , Vishnu, Rudra, Ganapathy Skanda, Saraswarthy, Lakshmi as Sri.

Of we these, we find Brahma , Vishnu and Rudra being elevated as the Three Supreme Gods.

Siva and Narayana, on the other hand are considered the direct manifestation of the Reality, Brahman, along with Uma.

To simplify the method of worship and to avoid confusion Sankaracharya  groupe six as Shanmathas(Six Systems)

    They are ,

    Ganapathyam (Ganapathy)

    Saumaram (Surya, The Sun)

    Kaumaram (Skanda, Subramanya)

    Saivam, Sakthi (Parvati,Uma) and

    Vaishnavam(Vishnu).

The other deities may be worshiped on individual fancies, but these remain the Main Deities.

As society developed ther have been additions and continuation of tribal worship as well.

Under this, we have Village deities, which are responsible for the welfare of the Village,(Sastha, Mariamman worship come under this)

Boundary Deities(Ellaichamy)-Karuppannasamy worship comes under this.

We also have Forest Deities, Vana Durga.

Mountain deities, Muruga, an avatra of Skanda

In addition we have family deities which a family worships by custom.

All these myriad of deities come under the the three main Deities along with Uma, Parvati.

However the Supreme priciple of the Vedas is that Reality Brahman has no attribute, nameless, Formless.

This is called Nirguna, with out attributes.

People can find, in important Stothras, Nirgana Aaradhana and Saguna Aradhana.

We have the Narayana Suktham is a Nirguna Aradhana, Vishnu Sooktham is Saguna Aradhana.

In Sri Lalitha Sahasranama, one finds Nirguna and Saguna Stuthis.

And in Attribute-less worship one can find Non dualism,Qualified Non dualism and Dualism.

It is astonishing to find that all individual views are taken into consideration and are synthesized in the concept of Reality.

Even Atheism is taken into consideration and the Atheists were not ostracized or ignored.

This is the greatness of the Indian Thought, that none can arrogate only  themselves to knowledge.

  • In Times Of Crisis’ God is Here With US.

I came across a blog which i am quoting below.

Hinduism does not blame God for our pain.

    One reaps as he sows.

    Then why pray?

He gives us the Strength to bounce back.

This can not be logically explained.

    One can only feel it.

As one who has gone through pain in my Life, I can affirm this.

I lost eight relatives who were close to me, including my parents, close friend, wife( at my age  of 28) in a span of 3 years.

I had financial and emotional difficulties as well.

It is a surprise I am alive to-day.

More to the point I am Happy.

God has given me wonderful children.

That’s proof enough of God for me.

‘So is there an all-loving all-seeing God or is it a convenient invention to salve the soul?

I have had major reason to consider that question over the past few weeks as my 12-year-old nephew, Rory Staunton, cruelly lost his life to a toxic infection in a New York hospital.

In the intensive care unit I met two pastors, both doing their best to console a frightened and exhausted family desperately concerned for their little boy.

With one I ended up discussing the philosophy of Spinoza, the Dutch philosopher, who believed that if there was a God he was abstract and uncaring.

When you see all the war, the killing, the famine, and suffering it is easy for many to agree with Spinoza.

We discussed the Sermon on the Mount, and the eight beatitudes, which are the most relevant part of the Christian theology in my experience.

Those are profound statements that truly do preach humility and compassion and revive faith in the New Testament.

Yet how has that love and mercy expressed itself?

There were two church services for Rory, one in Ireland, one in America where God’s mercy and grace were front and center.

I was assured by many that Rory had gone to a better place and that God had a plan for him.

At his funeral mass there were repeated references to a merciful God but it was hard to see the mercy in depriving my grieving sister and her husband of their beautiful son.

I acknowledge now more than ever, the importance of the ritual of the religion, especially in the wake of Rory’s death when I see the incredible comfort that the ceremonies brought to his parents.

I saw God in the incredible caring of Father Tom, from Mayo, in the hospital room in New York in the way he told my little niece that her brother was gone, a truly saintly man.

Rory Staunton, a beautiful boy, leaves this earth. The hardest column I will ever have to write
    ——————-

But that is not the same as believing in God.

Despite the overwhelming desire to believe the answer is positive the question must remain unanswerable.

There is no evidence either way that is definitive or conclusive for me.

My awful encounter with death has if anything, increased my sense of how unknown the great questions of our existence remain.

I am comfortable with that. Great certainties held by people unnerve me anyway. All punishing, all powerful, all merciful deities of whatever religion make it too easy to avoid the really difficult question which is: Who are we? Why are we here?
