  • Kohinoor Diamond British Royal Crown Is Bhadrakali’s Eye

The Kohinor Diamond is a cursed one , bringing misfortune to the owner.

The Kohinoor Diamond, meaning Mountain of Light in Persian, is now with the British, and is embedded in the Royal Crown.

    Kohinoor,

    Kohinoor Diamond.jpg
    The Kohinoor Diamond.

Was mined in Kolluru Mines, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh,India.

It was 793  when it was uncut.

It is now a 105.6 metric carats diamond, weighing 21.6 grammes .

Exact value of the stone is not known, but in the 1500s it was considered that the diamond’s value corresponds to about half of the world’s total production costs in one day. Of course, with a diamond so unique, it is hard to put a monetary value attached to it.

The fact that it never changed hands through a documented sale doesn’t help our evaluation. The Kohinoor was always stolen, bartered or gifted and never sold.

As comparison the most expensive documented sale of a diamond occurred around 60 years ago, when the Graff pink was sold in Hong Kong for $46 million.

The Graff pink weighs “only” 24,78 carats compared to the 106 carats that the Koh-i-noor weighs though.

Even if the value of the Kohinoor diamond is not known, it is part of the Crown Jewels, and the whole value of the Crown Jewels is between $10 and $12 billion.

Kohinoor was the Eye of  Bhadrakali in Warangal,Andhra Pradesh.

It was donated by the Kakatiya Kings.

In 1323,Ghiyath al-dhin Thughlak  defeatedthe Kakatiyas and true to Islamic style vandalised the Temple and took away the Kohinoor.

He was late killed by his son.

The Kohinoor changed many hands before it landed with the Maharaja Of Punjab, Maharaja Ranjith Singh.

He donated the Kohinoor to Puri Jagannath Temple and died.

The British refused to hand over the diamond to the Temple.

In 1850, the Kohinoor was stolen and was delivered to the British.

Fearing the Curse, the present Queen Elizabeth avoids wearing the Kohinoor and wears the Imperial State Crown.

The diamond remained with Khilji dynasty, and later passed on to the succeeding dynasties of the Delhi Sultanate, until it came into the possession of Babur, a Turco-Mongol war lord, who invaded India and established the Mughal Empire in 1526. He called the stone ‘the Diamond of Bābur’ at the time, although it had been called by other names before it came into his possession. Both Babur and his son and successor, Humayun mention in their memoirs the origins of ‘the Diamond of Bābur’.

A 1757 miniature of Ahmad Shāh Durrānī, the Emir of Afghanistan, in which the Koh-i-Noor diamond is seen hanging on the front of hiscrown, above his forehead.

The diamond remained locked in the Mughal treasury until it was taken out by Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal emperor. Shah Jahan, famous for building the Taj Mahal in Agra, had the stone placed into his ornate Peacock Throne. His son, Aurangazeb, imprisoned his ailing father at nearby Agra Fort. While in the possession of Aurangazeb, it was cut by Hortenso Borgia, a Venetian lapidary, who was so clumsy that he reduced the weight of the stone to 186 carats.[12] Legend has it that he had the Koh-i-Noor positioned near a window so that Shāh Jahān could see the Tāj Mahal only by looking at its reflection in the stone. Following the invasion of Nadir Shah, the ruler of Afsharid Persia in 1739 and the sacking of Agra and Delhi. Along with the Peacock Throne, he also carried off the Koh-i-Noor to Persia in 1739. It was allegedly Nādir Shāh who exclaimed Koh-i-Noor! when he finally managed to obtain the famous stone,[4] and this is how the stone gained its present name. There is no reference to this name before 1739.

The valuation of the Koh-i-Noor is given in the legend that one of Nader Shah’s consorts supposedly said, “If a strong man should take five stones, and throw one north, one south, one east, and one west, and the last straight up into the air, and the space between filled with gold and gems, that would equal the value of the Koh-i-Noor.”

After the assassination of Nādir Shāh in 1747, the stone came into the hands of his general, Ahmad Shāh Durrānī, who later became the Emir of Afghanistan. In 1830, Shujāh Shāh Durrānī, the deposed Emir of Afghanistan and a descendant of Ahmad Shah Durrani, managed to flee with the diamond. He went to Lahore where the Sikh Maharaja Ranjit Singh forced him to surrender the stone and took its possession.’

Britain is still hand over the Kohinoor Diamond to india, despite repeated demands.

  • Krishna’s Cousin Arishtanemi Jain Tirthankara In Veda

Lord Krishna’s Cousin Arishtanemi is a Tirthankara of Jainism!

    Lord Krishna as a child.Image.jpg
    Krishna as a child

Arishtanemi is also called as Neminatha.

He is the twenty-second Thirthankara .

Tirthankara means one who helps to cross over, creates a Passage.

Life is considered to be an Ocean of pain, it is called Samsara.

Tirthankara is one who has crossed over the Cycle of Birth and death.

They create the path for those who follow them.

There are Twenty four Tirthankaras, Vardhamana Mahavira being the Twenty Fourth

More Tirthankara will manifest in future.

Buddhism and Jainism are two great religions of India and Jainism precedes Buddhism.

These  two Religions are nastika systems of Indian Thought.

Nastika means one that does not belive in the authority of the Vedas.

We may call these systems as Heterodox.

Jains have excellent system of Logic.

And their Ethical system is very stringent.

I shall be posting on Jainism in detail shortly.

Lord Krishna’s Cousin Arishtanemi was a Jain Tirthankara,  a counterpart of Lord Krishna,a Maha Purusha.

Arishtanemi, (Neminatha) Twenty second Tirthankara of Jainism

“The Tirthankaras, along with 12 cakravartins (“world conquerors”), nine vasudevas (counterparts of Vasudeva, the patronymic of Krishna), and nine baladevas (counterparts of Balarama, the elder half-brother of Krishna), constitute the 54 mahapurusas (“great souls”), to which were later added nine prativasudevas(enemies of the vasudevas). Other, more minor, figures include nine naradas (counterparts of the deity Narada, the messenger between gods and humans), 11 rudras (counterparts of the Vedic god Rudra, from whom Siva is said to have evolved), and 24 kamadevas (gods of love), all of which show Hindu influences. There are also four groups of gods, the bhavanavasis (gods of the house), the vyantaras (intermediaries), the jyotiskas(luminaries), and the vaimanikas (astral gods). These deities were assimilated from ancient Indian folk religion.”

Note the Vasus, Rudras and Adityas.

My detailed post follows on this.

“Arishtanemi is a legendary figure. Said to have lived 84,000 years before the coming of the next Tirthankara, Parshvanatha, he is believed to have been the contemporary and cousin of the Hindu god Krishna. Legend holds that on his wedding day, Arishtanemi heard the cries of animals being slaughtered for the marriage feast and immediately renounced the world. The name Arishtanemi (“the rim [nemi] of whose wheel is unhurt [arishta]”) is attributed to a dream his mother had before he was born in which she saw a wheel of black jewels. In paintings of the Shvetambara sect, Arishtanemi always appears black (in paintings of the Digambara sect, he is blue). His symbol is the conch. According to Jain belief, he attained moksha (release from earthly existence) on the Girnar Hills in Kathiawar (in western India), which has become a place of pilgrimage for Jains.

wait, we have some thing more intersting.

The Vedas refer to Aritanemi in Svasti Vachana.

Svasti vachana is rendered at the conclusion of an auspicious occasion, to Bless by Auspicious words.

  • Christian Conversion At TTD Run Tirupati College

There has a been a systematic attempt at converting students to Christianity by the principal of Sri Venkateswara Arts. College Tirupati.

Evangelical literature is being distributed in the hostel .

Protesting students were lathi charged while no action seems to have been taken against the offenders.

It is strange that a Non Hindu is appointed as a Principal in a Hindu run Educational Institution.

Would any Church or a Muslim Institution even dream of appointing a Non Christian, Non Muslim in their institutions?

There have been attempts to run an Islamic University in Tirupati, grabbing Lord Vishnu’s Temple land.

The news on the latest attempt by Christians to convert in TTD College, as in the case of Islam University, did not make it to Main stream newspapers.

Ghar Wapsi is being splashed around everywhere.

    Long Live Secularism.

    The Story.

The Principal of the Sri Venkateshwara Arts College who goes by the name of Dr M. D. Christopher has been accused by the students of college and various student organizations that he is aiding Christian proselytization. If one looks at the happenings at the SV Arts College in the recent months, there is a strong possibility that this allegation is indeed true.

Evangelist literature is being distributed to students in the college campus. The manner in which the evangelist books are distributed is quite alarming and would not have been possible without the helping hand of the college administration. The students of the hostel are specially targeted for this soul harvest. Evangelical books and other literature arrived in a postal package and were addressed to each student by his name and they were in fact delivered to his room in the hostel. The students say that such distribution of books has happened many times over.

Students allege that complaints about this missionary activity to the Principal  andTTD officials have fallen on deaf ears. The students of the college directly point fingers at the Principal. The Principal has appointed to his staff a person named Rajkumar. Rajkumar is alleged to have given out the names and addresses of the students to the missionary organization distributing the literature. In spite of repeated complaints, no action was taken by the Principal. The Principal is also accused of appointing non-Hindu staff.’
