But the Bhakti Literature mentions Gnana Sambhanda around 7 Century AD when Tirunavukkasar is mentioned as a contemporary of Sambanda.

This is supported by to other evidence in Tamil.

So Shankaracharya’ date may be after 7 Century AD.
