इस ब्लॉग के पाठकों में से एक से एक प्रश्न था कि त्रिमूर्ति,ब्रह्मा,विष्णु और शिव किस गोत्र के हैं?
त्रिमूर्ति ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और रुद्र हैं ।
रुद्र शिव का एक पहलू है,न कि शिव अपने सभी पहलुओं में ।
विष्णु नारायण का एक पहलू है ।
विष्णु शब्द संस्कृत मूल जिष्णु से है
‘विष्णु जीशन्नम महाविशन्नम प्रभा विष्णम महेश्वरम’ – विष्णु सहस्रनाम।
जिष्णु का अर्थ है ‘सहायक, सहायक’
जैसा कि विष्णु रक्षक हैं और ब्रह्मांड का समर्थन करते हैं,उन्हें विष्णु कहा जाता है ।
नारायण ब्रह्म,वास्तविकता का एक पहलू है ।
और विष्णु नारायण का एक पहलू है ।
नारायण शब्द की दो व्याख्याएँ हैं ।
नारायण नारायण, जो मनुष्य(नारा) को दिखाता है कि कैसे जीना है,खुद का संचालन करें ।
दूसरा वह है जो पानी(नरम),दूध के सागर,क्षीरा सागर में रहता है ।
तो विष्णु नारायण का एक पहलू है,जो निर्गुण (गुणों से परे) निर्गुण ब्राह्मण का एक पहलू है,गुणों से परे वास्तविकता, एक सिद्धांत है ।
अब ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और रुद्र के गोत्र को ।
ऋषि कश्यप के तैंतीस बच्चे थे ।
ग्यारह रुद्र, बारह आदित्य,आठ वासु, दो अश्विनी कुमार।
ये तैंतीस हिंदू धर्म के प्राथमिक देवता हैं ।
उनमें से बारह आदित्य और ग्यारह रुद्र थे ।
इसलिए रुद्र और विष्णु वंश से कश्यप गोत्र के हैं ।
जैसा कि ब्रह्मा का जन्म विष्णु से हुआ था, वह कश्यप गोत्र के हैं ।
शिव के रूप में,उनके किसी भी अवतार में गर्भ होने का कोई संदर्भ नहीं है ।
इसलिए गोत्र का उल्लेख नहीं किया जा सकता है

Gotra Of Shiva Vishnu Brahma
The term Vishnu is from the Sanskrit root Jishnu ‘Vishnum Jishnum Mahavishnum prabha Vishnum Maheswaram’ Vishnu Sahasranama. Jishnum means ‘supporting,supportive’ As Vishnu is the Protector and supports the Universe,he is called Vishnu.
Gotra Pravara Adi Shankaracharya Krishna Yajur Vedin
I received a comment that whether Shankaracharya’s gotra is Namboodiri and whether his gotra belongs to Viswakarma . I replied that Namboodiri is a sect of Brahmins and they have Gotras and though I have written on Namboodiris, I shall write on their Gotras.

Sir, i am confused between Vishnu, maha vishnu, narayana and other Names of vishnu bhagwan. There is a clear differentiation between these.can you explain these in simple words

Thanks for sharing..I went through the blog. Still have few questions.. like when we talk about shri Ram or shri krishna, they are avtar (manifestation) of which Vishnu? When as a layman we talk about Vishnu bhagwan, which vishnu we talk about..Etc. etc.

We are talking about the aspects of Vishnu at different levels of Perception and functions. So Avatars are the manifestations of all the three. Reality is a Principle and as such beyond Attributes, It is Nirguna. We ascribe Attributes in our quest to Realise Self. This is called Saguna Aradhana.
