The relationship between Sanatana Dharm and Tamil is getting stronger as I delve deep into ancient Tamil literature. Thanks to Secular History of India,Indians were brought up on a diet of doctored History,which plants the seeds of separatism in India,by stating that there was invasion by Aryans ,Tamils and others South of Vindhyas were barbarians and they were civilized by Aryans.

Nothing can be farther from Truth.Tamil is an ancient language which runs parallel to Sanskrit and Tamil Culture is as old as Sanskrit and Tamil/s spread throughout world cultures.You may Google Tamild +ramanan50 to find more information.

One of these myths is that Tamil is against Vedas and Sanatan Dharm.Wrong. I have proved otherwise by stating that Tamils were a part of Sanatan Dharm and Siva worship was more prevalent in Tamil ,as evidenced by Thirumoolar’s Thirumandiram,Sangam literature,Siva , Subrahmanya were worshipped in Tamil culture.Valmiki who wrote Ramayana was a A Tamil Siddha,who wrote a poem in Tamil ,contributed to Sangam Literature.Tamil Grammar has a unique way of describing people and their Lives. Tholkappiyam,the ancient Tamil Grammar work speaks of Five divisions of Landmass;Kurinji,Hill and surrounding areas;Mullai,Forest and adjoining areas; Marutham, Arable land and adjoining areas; Neydhal, Ocean and adjoining areas and Paalai , Desert and adjoining areas.

Each Landmass was assigned a Deity.Kurinji,Murugan, Subrahmanya;Mullai,Vishnu,Maayon;Marutham,Indra;Neydhal,Varuna and Paalai Devi as Kotravai.

What is surprising is that Balarama is mentioned as a God in Tamil Sangam literature,Puranaanuru poem number 56.This was written by Nakkeran,who belongs to Sangam Period.

He mentions four Gods.Siva,Vishnu as Nediyon, Subrahmanya and Balarama!

I have written that Balarama had gone on Pilgrimage to South and he worshipped Murugan, Subrahmanya.And Krishna attended Tamil Sangam,Krishna married a Pandyan princess,had a daughter;Arjuna married a Tamil princess,Sahadeva had visited South as pilgrimage……..

1. சிவன் – ஏறு என்னும் காளைமாட்டை ஊர்தியாகக் கொண்டவன். செஞ்சடை கொண்டவன். கணிச்சி என்னும் சூலம் ஏந்தியவன். ‘கூற்று’ என்றும் இவனைக் கூறுவர். இவனது சீற்றத்துக்கு இணை இல்லை.(The one,who rides Ox,has locks of Redhair,has Trishul,is called as Time,God of Death)

2. வலியோன் – சங்கு போன்ற மேனியை உடையவன். நாஞ்சிலை ஏந்தியவன். பனை மரத்தைக் கொடியில் கொண்டவன். இவனது வலிமைக்கு இணை இல்லை.(Balarama,who is of the colour of Conch,has Palm tree as his Flag,whose strength is unmatched)

3. மாயோன் – கழுவிய மணி போன்ற மேனியை உடையவன். கருடக் கொடையை உடையவன். விறல் என்னும் புகழில் இவனுக்கு இணை இல்லை.(Krishna,who is Black,Has Garuda in His Flag, whose fame none can match)

4. செய்யோன் – சிவந்த உடையவன். மயில் கொடி உடையவன். இவனது ஊர்தியும் மயில். நினைத்ததை முடிப்பதில் இணை இல்லாதவன்.(Murugan, Subrahmanya,who has Peacock as His Mount, peacock in His Flag,has none to equal in completing a Task)

ஏற்று வலன் உயரிய எரி மருள் அவிர் சடை,மாற்று அருங் கணிச்சி, மணி மிடற்றோனும்;கடல் வளர் புரி வளை புரையும் மேனி,அடல் வெந் நாஞ்சில், பனைக் கொடியோனும்;மண்ணுறு திரு மணி புரையும் மேனி,       5விண் உயர் புள் கொடி, விறல் வெய்யோனும்,மணி மயில் உயரிய மாறா வென்றி,பிணிமுக ஊர்தி, ஒண் செய்யோனும் எனஞாலம் காக்கும் கால முன்பின்,தோலா நல் இசை, நால்வருள்ளும்,                 10கூற்று ஒத்தீயே, மாற்று அருஞ் சீற்றம்;வலி ஒத்தீயே, வாலியோனை;புகழ் ஒத்தீயே, இகழுநர் அடுநனை;முருகு ஒத்தீயே, முன்னியது முடித்தலின்;ஆங்கு ஆங்கு அவர் அவர் ஒத்தலின், யாங்கும்                                15அரியவும் உளவோ, நினக்கே? அதனால்,இரவலர்க்கு அருங் கலம் அருகாது ஈயா,யவனர் நன் கலம் தந்த தண் கமழ் தேறல்பொன் செய் புனை கலத்து ஏந்தி, நாளும்ஒண் தொடி மகளிர் மடுப்ப, மகிழ் சிறந்து,                              20ஆங்கு இனிது ஒழுகுமதி! ஓங்கு வாள் மாற!அம் கண் விசும்பின் ஆர் இருள் அகற்றும்வெங் கதிர்ச் செல்வன் போலவும், குட திசைத்தண் கதிர் மதியம் போலவும்,நின்று நிலைஇயர், உலகமோடு உடனே!    25
