Religions are born of Faith.Faith is one of experience.
Experiences can not be replicated nor can they be transferred.
At best one can describe Experience but can never Define it.
One can show the path but the travel is yours.
This applies to all walks of life, including Religion.
Religion is an Experience,not Knowledge.
You can fell it,but not Know it.
You can feel pain but you need not know it.
Cognitive part of the brain, through nerves get the stimulus of Pain and transfers it to enable us to feel.
Brain does not feel Itself.
Experiences have been recorded by Sages .
Also through Intuition.
These are the Vedas, texts of the Hindus.
Experience being unique, value judgements have no place or references here.
When delves into science one is awestruck and can not but wonder about the it’s Origin.
That which is behind All.
Of his achievements,Sir. Issac Newton says thus,
So Religious Experince, though belonging to diverse schools of thoughts and Culture, Philosophy would find an echo.
I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.
– Isaac Newton, Mathematician, Physicist.
One finds various concepts in world, Religions.
True Religions seek the Truth and guide people.
They are not bothered about numbers.
Hinduism has,as it’s core,Brahman,as Reality.
Depending on the Perspectives,it is expressed in various ways.
Advaita,
Visishtadvaida,
Dwaida or
Simply worshipping personal Gods.
But the core remains,Brahman.
Ancient Chinese Religion echoes the Dwaida.
It can be interpreted as Advaita also.
Essentially Two principles, Hún and Po.
Details are provided towards the closing of the article.
Of Hun and Po ,one aspect of Po,the individual Soul ,is corporeal.
It can leave the body.
The Spiritual soul is called Chi also.
In Tamil, when one does not like someone,in some cases, especially women, they say ,,’chi po,’சீ போ,’
Meaning’ ‘Go away’
In the former,it is revulsion, among lovers it is acquiescence.
Elders at home forbid using this term as it Inauspicious.
May be,it amounts to asking the Spiritual Soul, Pol to Go.
Another interpretation is asking one form of energy to Go.
‘In traditional Chinese culture, qi or ch’i (
qì) is believed to be a vital force forming part of any living entity. Qitranslates as “air” and figuratively as “material energy”, “life force”, or “energy flow“.Qi is the central underlying principle in Chinese traditional medicine and in Chinese martial arts. The practice of cultivating and balancing qi is called qigong.‘

I wonder about the coincidence .
Was there any connection between Tamils an Chinese on Religious matters?
I will not be surprised for Chengis Khan built Shiva Temple in Mongolia.
‘Hun (Chinese: 魂; pinyin: hún; Wade–Giles: hun; literally: “cloud-soul”) and po (Chinese: 魄; pinyin: pò; Wade–Giles: p’o; literally: “white-soul”) are types of souls in Chinese philosophy and traditional religion. Within this ancient soul dualism tradition, every living human has both a hun spiritual, ethereal, yangsoul which leaves the body after death, and also a po corporeal, substantive, yin soul which remains.
